With a card that said, "In God's eye, and those who submit, you are a hero!"

Now how could he have gotten such a profound misunderstanding of Islam?

Thats hard core.

He sent flowers? I guess that means his goat's going to go hungry tonight.

From the article:

"A southwest Florida man who tried to send a dozen yellow roses to the Army major accused of last week’s shooting rampage at Fort Hood..."

Yellow, the color of cowardice. A perfect tribute to our cowardly Maj. Hasan.

The sentiment expressed by this muslim traitor living amongst the Floridians is a universally felt and concealed sympathy by the entirety of the muslim population.
Obama’s own initial rush to judgment and demeanor after the Hood incident was that of embarrassment and not one of appropriate indignation as is natural when you are bound to the victim more than the perpetrator.
As predicted he will continue to be blinded by his “deep sympathy towards islam” and will
appease the fears of the masses as his superb spin machine reassures us about not worrying as he permits the islamic lunatics arm themselves to the teeth with nuclear weapons, and this my friends is the real tragedy in all of this.

"I guess that means his goat's going to go hungry tonight."

LOL. When I first read that, I thought you said it means his goat is going to be LONELY tonight, ie the man found a new love interest.

Allah is just and merciful.

Yellow roses, though? Shouldn't it be red roses to match the blood of the kuffars.............

Just sayin'.

"That's part of Christianity, love your enemies and do good to them," he told the reporter.

It has occurred to me that perhaps PC is an "extreme" form of Christianity - Jesus' best sound bites taken to heart in a kindergartney sort of way, and more so: Love thine enemies, Turn the other cheek, etc, etc. Political correctness would be a secular extension of this, and with apparently no limits, but with a political agenda in and of itself. Multiculturalism? We're all God's chillun, aren't we? And genetics backs it up (though no one is really allowed to examine genetically-based behavioural differences between biologically distinct populations of humans. Both the extreme Christian version and the secular type make the same mistake of assuming that all people are basically the same, and all want the same basic things apart from biological needs (food and shelter), and so assume that each distinct culture will be founded on the same basic principles as Western culture. It disallows the modern existence of nihilistic and warrior cultures off-handedly, even though Islam is both of these in one. Christians are duty-bound to help anyone who asks, if they can, regardless of who that person is.

Yes, our Western culture is based primarily on Christianity ... and while we may not be overtly religious about it, the basic tenets of the religion are held to be true by both religious and secular members of the population.

We have to realize that turning the other cheek (literally) only results in one having four sore cheeks.

I've always interpreted "turning the other cheek as farting in the general direction of your opponent.

It's all thorougly disturbing frankly.

"Ring around the Rosy

Ashes, Ashes,

We all Fall Down"

The odor of sweet smelling roses will not mask the stench
of him nor his stinking vile plague ideology.

Paralysed from the waist down and the neck up.

Interesting thought, Spirit Wolf, but I don't agree that Jesus was politically correct. A few quotes:

"You snakes! You brood of vipers!” (Matthew 23:33)
"Go tell that fox … “ (Luke 13:32)
"You hypocrites!” (Luke 13:15, and elsewhere)

Jesus never allowed himself to be trampled on, and certainly was not bothered about upsetting people. He drove the authorities into paroxysms of rage as a result, and today would have been sent off for sensitivity training.

Unfortunately, in recent times the "gentle Jesus meek and mild" image seems to have become the perception, but if you actually read the gospels, you will find that Jesus was not like that at all.

Paul - you say:

"Jesus never allowed himself to be trampled on, ..."

I guess that might be true if you don't count that little crucifixion deally at the end..

You seem to have forgotten or not understood the twist in the tail three days later, IMF.

Paul,
Jesus certainly had no hesitation when it came to the money-changers in the temple. That might have been His only real act of violence.

I'm nopt saying that _Jesus_ was politically correct. I'm saying the basic, kindergarten-level sound bites have been overblown into what we know as PC - it's the idea of the soundbites being taken too far.

Remember, like people tend to overlook Mohammed's misdeeds, they also tend to overlook the fact that Jesus hung out with some pretty heavy-duty dudes himself (Zealots, for instance.) Whether wittingly or no, these grown-up flower children will use what are basic Christian tenets (without of course understanding Jesus' life or social milieu) while blaming it for all the evils in the world, while ignoring Islam's bad side completely. Yes, it's perverse.

And PC itself has seemed to morph, albeit unofficially, into a kind of One True Religion, one that must not be questioned. I guess that's where affinity for Islam comes in :s

Spirit Wolf,

Secularist PC MC derives a great deal from Christianity; however it has an added ingredient that may or may not be an improvised extension of Christian charity: the dual dogma of Excessive Self-Criticism / Excessive Adoration of the Other Who Are Noble Savages (i.e., "Ethnic Peoples"). It is this dual dogma which is at the very crux of why the West continues to bend over backwards to placate Muslims and deny the dangerous evil of their ideology.

The neighbors need to have a little talk with this jackass. And all who support attacks on Amaricans.

Jesus is firm, kind, blunt or merciful as the situation requires. He wasn't shy about taking on the Saducees and Pharisees - the religious leaders of the time, for their corruption and hypocrisy. He also showed great compassion to the woman taken in adultery. He forgave and told her to sin no more.

But, ya this guy in Florida is obviously a jihadist sympathiser. Wanting to tell Hassan that, "In God’s eye, and those who submit, you are a hero!", is a clear indication of where his loyalties lay.

Ya, I would’ve sent him flowers too, but none of the shops carry poison Ivy or Oak.

There's a yellow rose of Texas
That I am going to see
No other soldier knows her
No soldier, only me...

Hesperado - Yeah, that's the weird twist. It kind of reminds me of the jokes Americans like to tell about Canadians re: exaggerated politeness - step on our foot and we'll apologize to you for being in your way. Only we've gone into an even more extreme form of this, where we apologize basically for just being born white and Western. Polite humility or humble politeness is one thing, but there comes a time when one needs to stop being polite and humble, if your deferential attitude is being abused. However, under PC, there is no sin worse than "being impolite", at least if one is a white westerner, and the impoliteness directed at a "minority" person, no matter even if that person deserved it.

At least yellow is an appropriate color for the S.O.B.

He should have sent lilies, that's what he's gonna need.
