No faith? I'm quite sure that several faiths have condoned animal and human sacrifice. Heck, Islam still actively encourages animal sacrifice in the pagan ritual of Hajj, and seems to justify human sacrifice as well, for "spreading mischief in the land" (quran 5:32 and many other places).

Turning this point around, a huge problem is the fact that individuals justify murder in the name of Islam, yet the 'responsible', 'learned' clerics of Islam are not doing what obviously should be done:

Declare that anyone committing violence in the name of Islam are automatically apostates.

Instead, they come up with all sorts of justifications for the crimes (Israel, oppression, discrimination, racism, colonialism, imperialism, the Crusades, abolishing the caliphate - the list goes on).

0bama is no cleric, and problably has little direct knowledge of Islamic scripture. His statement is merely an expression of wishful thinking, and makes me think that not only is he not really American, he's not really a President either. There's just empty space where the leadership was supposed to be.

Regarding your comment about animal sacrifice in Islam, I believe you are referring to Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice, and not Hajj (Muslims' obligation to make a pilgrimage to Mecca). Eid al-Adha commemorates Ibrahim's putative attempt to sacrifice Ismail. Allah stays his hand, whereupon Ibrahim sacrifices an animal instead. (Of course, this is the Muslim variant of the familiar Old Testament story.) Eid al-Adha is frequently a bloody, ghastly, barbaric occasion in many places, as Muslims butcher goats, sheep, and cattle in the street, often ineptly, causing much suffering to the doomed animals. This is occurring even in Europe..there are many photos documenting such stomach-turning, barbaric carnage - one need merely google to see for oneself.

They're calling him the "Mourner in Chief", saying he did a good job today in that capacity. He called the Ft Hood murders "incomprehensible". Anyone who understands Islam can see how Hasan followed the will of his so-called god and prophet.

A cop who arrests a black man "acted stupidly", according to this pretender, but he's willing to give Hasan more than the benefit of the doubt.

Indeed!! Dr.Ali Sina of Faithfreedom. org is probably right to conclude that Obama is a full-blown narcissist who doesn’t really give a shit about any of this stuff. Just look at the guy. A note about the part of the ceremony where The One placed coins on the platforms by each slain soldier because someone was pretty upset, suggesting that they were coins with his image stamped on them.

They were most likely "challenge coins" given by superior ranking officers and NCOs to junior officers and NCOs as a token of honor and respect. The ones Obama gave probably had the Presidential seal on one side and some notation of apprecitation on the other.

The lore of the coin is that, once given, you have to carry it with you at all times. If you're with someone who has also been given that particular coin and they ask you for it, you have to produce it immediately or you're in varying degrees of "trouble". Among warriors, a common use of the coin is at a bar: one warrior slaps his or her coin down on the bar in front of someone from the same military unit and if that someone doesn't have his coin with him, he has to buy drinks for every warrior there who did bring his or her coin.

To charge that Bush "lied" about the enemy is a charge so serious it requires more than smoking gun evidence. This PC MC paradigm shift the entire West has undergone over the past 50-odd years reflects a fascinating (if infuriating) type of coup d'etat: not the kind of coup the conspiracy theorists demand, imposed from without by a cabal from a smoke-filled room, but rather a coup from within, a voluntary yet semi-conscious coup that simply grew and evolved over time as a change of collective mind. And such a coup-de-state-of-mind could not have been possible were many of the tenets of this paradigm repulsive or reprehensible, much less treasonous and evil. The coup could only have been possible -- in the free West, that is -- if within its complex bundle it contained much good.

The problem is that of goods gone wrong among otherwise relatively good people; not of evil among evil people.

I'd have to disagree on one point of this: in fact, PC MC is notrelativist, it is absolutist: it thinks that non-Western cultures are absolutely better than the West. They use relativist language, but beneath that formulation, they are absolutist about what they feel is really good (non-Western cultures) and what is really bad (their own white West).
