This year, Armistice Day is marred by the recent jihad attack upon those who had dedicated their lives to protecting us. It was a vivid reminder, as was its hyper-politically correct aftermath, that the jihad against the U.S. is far from over, and we have hardly even begun to fight it.
Will we?
For many in the U.S. today, Constitutional law, including the non-establishment of religion, is as certain as the air we breathe, and we cannot conceive of the possibility that anything could weaken the principles upon which this nation was founded. The freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law -- all these things are unassailable, aren't they?
No, they are being assailed today by increasingly assertive global forces, both non-violent and violent. The mainstream media, government, and law enforcement, deathly afraid of spurious charges of "bigotry," lie about what led Nidal Hasan to commit mass murder. And hardly anyone today is even aware of, much less interested in, the Muslim Brotherhood's "grand jihad" to eliminate and destroy Western civilization "from within, sabotaging its miserable house."
That unawareness and indifference allow this endeavor to proceed apace.
Today, then, we should remember and be grateful to those who gave their lives to secure and protect these freedoms for us -- as if our gratitude could ever be sufficient or adequate. We should ponder the fact that they had to give their lives in order to secure these freedoms. We should remember that if we are not willing to give our own lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to protect the unalienable rights enumerated at the founding of this Republic, we will most assuredly lose both them and the Republic itself -- lose them for ourselves and for our children.
Let us never shrink from the task before us: the great struggle to defend human rights, human dignity, and freedom from oppression and injustice -- particularly the oppression and injustice, and assaults to human dignity that are enshrined in the Sharia that is coming, step-by-step, steadily and apparently inexorably, to a willfully ignorant and indifferent West.
Happy Veterans' Day.
Stand For the Veterans
dedicated to all combat vets, and especially D. Eugene Fletcher
Ladies and gentlemen,
please stand for a moment
And in that moment
please remember
that real blood has drained
the vitality from the youth
of this nation
Too many times in our history!
Yet always, we
have stepped forward
with great dignity
and bravery unmatched
to offer our life's blood
for your rights
to speak, pray, worship, assemble, travel, work, play, love, vote, read, write, smile in public, acutally think, and most importantly, dissent
Many, willingly on the first line of defense
became the last in their line of descent
these never to know the joy of their child's smile
The liberty and security
which epitomizes this nation's greatness
is bought with the blood of the young,
and the sanity of some,
warped by the warrior's mentality
to never again fit into their
rightful place in society
So that you might!
These would not have survived
the field of battle
without developing the warrior's mind
and find no place
in our society to apply
what they so willingly embraced
Pickles
which can never again be cucumbers
So yes, please stand
and honor our dead
But,
you the comfortable
when you see that man with the thousand yard stare in the twenty
f
o
o
t
Room
you stand, and offer
your heart,
your hand,
your seat
Talk is cheap
The words thank you
are as meaningful as
I'm sorry
to the parents of a soldier
lost in the dignity
of the battle for
your freedom
The very life blood of the youth
of this nation is what makes
this nation great
So you, stand!
bow your heads,
and see
the rivers of blood,
the oceans of tears,
and hear the
death cries of the young,
which has bought you this
very
freedom to stand.

One of the great fallacies of political-correctness is in its supposed utility. By bending over backwards to accommodate Muslims, we are - theoretically, at least - gaining their loyalty. In fact, as long as their exoneration is defacto and immediate whenever members of their community commit acts of terror, Muslims have no incentive to police themselves and root out those who are proponents of violence.
Many THANKS to ALL our vets, including those take part in the Jihadwatch website.
Imagine what the world would look like without the sacrifices of the U.S. soldier, sailor, airman, and marine, and the tyrannies that could have run amok.
Thank you for this Robert. And a grateful thanks to all the veterans out there for your service and sacrifice, wherever and whenever you served, from a fellow vet (1965-1969).
Eastview,
From a fellow vet the feeling is mutual.
Peace
Abdullah
In complete agreement with you, Marisol. As dark as the last hundred years of mankind have been, they would have been far darker had no American military existed. Contrary to glib or venomous assessments, the American military is the single greatest reason why free people everywhere are free. It is the most valuable and extraordinary organization of any kind anywhere in the world. Without it, night would descend on most or all of mankind.
My uncle Calvin Stevens First lieutenant US Army...Now deceased, was on the Guadalcanal front for 162 days leading night patrols into the jungle. He was shot in the chest by a Japanese sniper...Missed his heart by a half inch, he survived...He was called up for duty in Korea...While coming out of a bunker, on Heartbreak Ridge, a mortar round landed on he and another soldier...Killing the other and blowing my uncles legs off...He survived that one to...
Thanks Kelly...You may have been forgotten by others, but I remember...
You Abdullah-AINO, are not good enough to lick the bottom of his shoes...If he had any...
There is nothing more noble, and more honorable than defending this sovereign nation's sacred principles under the Constitution and The declaration of Independence from enemies foreign and abroad.
Today America is faced with enemies within that are indeed foreign in their allegiances to this nation, their allegiance and full devotion is to Islam and not to America... It is the responsibility of our President and our congress to vigorously defend this nation from enemies within.
As Americans we have a solemn duty to demand unequivocally that they do this.
Today to many who are in Government institutions are failing in this responsibility. It is long overdue that real Americans demand that they protect the nation from within.
Political correctness and the perversion of multiculturalism is destroying this nation from within and we must confront any leftist ideology or appeasing ignorance that is displayed by our political leaders, our military leaders, any organization,University professor who seeks to undermine this nation and fails to recognize the dangerous threat that is Islam and sharia law.
My grandpa, who was born in 1900, lied about his age and joined the navy in 1916. My dad was an instructor pilot up in Grossell, MI during WWII. He was getting ready to deploy on an aircraft carrier and the war ended two weeks before he was supposed to go. My brother was born in Chicago during that war and after graduating from the Air Force Academy, did his part as a pilot in Vietnam, as did my brother-in-law who was a grunt on the ground in the army. My ex was part of a flying squadron that saved those medical students in Grenada, saw action in Panama and also flew during Desert Storm.
Abdullah Mike, I'm sorry to burst your bubble, babe, but no one is honoring a traitor here, even if you truly ever were a veteran. You are of the Nidal Hasan/Benedict Arnold variety and we have no respect for you at all.
War,
Isabella
Marisol, Wellington:
Not to mention the British, Canadian, Australian and other allies who have also contributed to the safety and security of the Free World. Let's remember them, too.
Slave; your "fellow vet" bullshit is nauseating.
The religion you masturbate over here requires you honor your so-called god and prophet above all else, including this country and all it stands for.
So, as a vet myself, put a sock in it, chump.
And you're a liar too.
AbdullahMikail,
I thank you for serving in the American Armed Services, IF you served with a right heart - if you were genuinely willing to lay down your life to protect the lives and freedom of your fellow servicemen and fellow Americans, regardless of their religion or beliefs.
Only you know your true motives.
OMGNOw What,
Thanks, I appreciate your being a true American.
In my immediate family we have in excess of 100 years of military service to this country, and some are still serving in civilan capacities in defense carrying on what they did during their careers as consultants to the US Gov.
We understood our jobs then, and we did our jobs then, and we are no less committed to the ideals of freedom we all served to protect.
A lot of people here will go on about freedom and rights and then hiss genocidal comments and bigotry in the same breath as they seek to exclude others based on their mania.
Don't get caught up in the crowd...
Peace
Abdullah
InNoDhimmi: My comment was meant in no way to bemean the valor and fighting quality of the British, Australian and Canadian militaries and certain other militaries which have fought alongside America in one or more wars. Their contributions and courage speak for themselves. But my basic point remains, and that is that without the American military over the last century, all other things being the same, the world would be in even worse shape than it is. Far worse shape. I can think of no organization that has been more valuable and contributory to the cause of freedom these past hundred years than the American military. It has been, simply, indispensable.
Bite me, Slave.
Just because your kin were loyal doesn't mean you're not a traitor-in-waiting.
Wellington:
I agree the American military has been indispensable over the last century. That fact is self-evident. Canadians have benefited greatly from our proximity, and the mutual respect between our nations. More of us than you might think are quietly grateful.
While those who have served honorably in the American military should be respected for their service in legitimate defense of the nation, it's rather hard to know where to begin the snickers, chuckles, and chortles regarding this posting by JW.
Firstly, constitutional law is not meaningfully respected through most of our society today. One look at the 10th Amendment would show that in general as a society, we have not taken the document seriously in over a century. The only person in Congress who does is Ron Paul. So it's hard to take JW seriously when foggy-headed folks affiliated with it like the Trotskyite turned faux conservative neo-con David Horowitz viciously attack Paul. Apparently the Constitution doesn't begin to measure up to the importance of being a sugar daddy for Zionist Jewish supremacism.
Also, JW seems to have a bizarre, inordinate attachment to non-establishment as though it's some kind of intrinsic moral imperative. The history of the West as a whole tells quite a different story. And while the federal government is prohibited from having established religion - something that can be legally and peaceably repealed - the state governments do actually have a right to have established religion, as some of the early East Coast ones did at the beginning of the Republic. (cont.)
(cont.)
But wait, there's more, as those old Ronco commercials said.
Catholic Christianity, the font and foundation of Western Civilization which I understand JW's director belongs to, has never taught non-establishment of religion as an authoritative norm of government. In fact, it has taught the exact opposite, repeatedly, regarding the obligation of government and its rulers to publicly recognize, defend, aid, and uphold the True Religion and True Church.
Perhaps somebody at JW can explain how Michael Matt, Christopher Ferrara, John Rao, and the rest of us have become great misunderstanders of Pope Gregory XVI in Mirari Vos, Pope Piux IX in Quanta Cura, Pope Leo XIII in Immortale Dei and Libertas, Pope Pius X in Vehementer Nos, and Pope Pius XI in Quas Primas. All of which are less than 200 years old, and whose basic essence on the Social Reign of Christ is still authoritative teaching requiring an assent of mind and will.
Abdullah,
For whatever national service you and yours have offered, you are to be commended. Your thoughtful and elegant witness here is a tribute to you.
During my travels in the Middle East and Central Asia, regardless of whatever political and religious differences I have had with Muslims, I have nearly always been treated with courtesy, respect, and a hospitality of honor that is beyond commendable.
Watching the way you and other Muslims are treated by many on this site has been a sober lesson for me in learning just how thoughtless some aspects of American society really are.
From post above...About Abdullah...'Your thoughtful and elegant witness here is a tribute to you'.
fairusfan...You must be looking for a date...As far as I can tell, you are the only member of the Abdullah-AINO fan club.
It's lonely duty worshiping Abdullah, no one else will join you...But I'm sure he's flattered that he is the center of your adoration...
As usual, fairuzfan, you think yourself more knowledgeable than you are. Two examples will suffice. One, Horowitz has criticized Ron Paul for his isolationism, not for his pointing out that the 10th Amendment has been largely ignored by the Supreme Court (which it has, but that is because the Supreme Court has decided to emphasize the 14th Amendment over the 10th to allow for more federal intervention, sometimes for noble purposes, on other occasions for ill-conceived ones). Paul's isolationism is argubaly even more unrealistic than was Robert Taft's of some sixty years ago. Horowitz knows this.
The second example of your ignorance is your statement that states can still have an established religion if they so choose. No they can't. The incorporation doctrine, which has its origins in the late nineeenth century in the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Co. v. Chicago case (1897), and was continued with such cases as the 1925 Gitlow case, has made most of the Bill of Rights mandatory on the states as well as the federal government via the 14th Amendment's due process clause. ALL of the 1st Amendment is now required to be observed by the states. Certain portions (not many) like the 2nd Amendment or the 7th Amendment's requirement of a jury trial in civil cases are still not binding on states, but these are the exceptions not the rule.
One last comment. Your approbation of Abdullah Mikhail's military service (if he actually did serve) is a foolish one if Islam is the totalitarian ideology that Bertrand Russell averred it was almost a century ago. After all, if AM were now a Neo-Nazi or committed Marxist, your laudation of him would be a very ill-advised one. For the record, I think you foolish here PRECISELY because Islam is inimical to liberty and what America at its best stands for, just as fascism and Marxism are detrimental to the American Republic and its Constitution. Done here.
(**** Sustained Applause ***) Thank you Wellington.
Like others here mine is a military family, from my grandfather in WWl(with a Welsh war bride), my father and uncles in WWII Navy and onto retirement, my husband, USAF Ret. my brother-in-law, US Navy, Ret., my active duty USAF son, my husbands brothers, and others, we have well over 200 years of service. I always took this for granted, with great pride. I am so proud of everyone who serves, just as though they are part of my own family. Because of our international family, I feel much the same about the British, Canadians, and Austrailian forces as well. Please do not downgrade for run on sentences and iffy punctuation:)
Thank you for your rambling mess of a post. You have already been sufficiently refuted by Wellington, so I will not be repetitive. When you attempt to demonstrate your knowledge of various subjects, your efforts invariably fall short and appear ludicrous. You might ask yourself, if you ever have a self-reflective moment, if you have ever been persuasive to anyone outside of your group?
Marisol
some time ago, I tracked down and posted, in another thread, a youtube clip of the heartbreakingly lovely Armenian lullaby, Chinar es.
The particular clip I posted was from a recital.
But there is a very different clip which combines the same song with footage of (I think) D-Day at Normandy - not sure if it's from a film, or not.
It is that one, which in response to your comment, I will post today.
The effect is extraordinary: it becomes a requiem for all those Allied soldiers who would lose their lives confronting and bringing down the Nazi Reich; and a blessing for those of them who would survive.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCJcaMSUFpo&feature=fvw
And as we listen to that haunting Armenian song, one of the most beautiful songs ever made, superimposed over shots of the young allied soldiers, let us remember also that great patriotic American investigative journalist, 'john roy carlson', son of Armenian refugees from jihad genocide, whose books, such as 'Under Cover', helped expose Nazi networks in the USA; and whose other major work 'From Cairo to Damascus' lifted the lid on, among other things, the Muslim Brotherhood...in 1951.
We Aussies are very grateful, too.
We appealed to you in desperation in World War II as the Japanese, drunk with a ruthlessly supremacist ideology, roared down toward us from the North and our Mother Country, with her back to the wall, fighting for her life, could not help.
And you came through for us. My parents and my husband's parents and many, many other older Australians were children at the time and they still remember.
In one of Australia's state capitals there is a cathedral with a memorial window diptych that celebrates the friendship between Australia and the United States.
http://www.stjohnscathedral.com.au/community/info/sgwt_new_artists_frameset.html
If you click on the black circle containing the > symbol, below the first image to the bottom right, the second window, showing the Bald Eagle of the United States, will come up.
It is very frightening for an Australian today to see the American Eagle seemingly flying blind, as the vast darkness of the Third Jihad gathers and rises.
fairuzfan,
Be careful about praising Abdullah Mikail about his military service....just a few days ago he denied he was ever in the American military when he was challenged by other posters who said that he had, at one time, said he was in the military....(of course , he may have been in some other military service, but who knows).
Do you know if Abdullah is lying now or was he lying then?
Or do you think he is always telling the truth, just because he says so?..
Now here's a guy who really deserves to be honored.

In my posting above, I checked, and the link does not seem to go straight to the correct window.
However,if you look on the left hand side of the page that comes up, you will see 'New Artists'.
Under that, click on the link entitled 'Glenn Mack', and that should take you to the first of his two 'Eagle Windows', depicting the Wedge-Tailed Eagle (Australia) and the Bald Eagle (America). A small 'button' under the picture of the window, should allow you to click back and forth between the two.
