Defending your own society, i.e., self-defence, from a foreign hostile one, is a normal response of any healthy society. The fact that there has been no “backlash” here or in the US and Australia, despite dozens of terror acts indicates that our immune system has been neutralised. Why and how I will leave for the moment. However, this lack of an immune response from the host body bodes ill for the future safety and well being of the host.

Muslim Jihadis note our lack of response and interpret it as a sign that our societies are degenerate and weak as a consequence. It emboldens them to mount further attacks, as they are confident that no actions will take place, which materially damages the Umma.

So what will happen if there is a backlash.
The moment there is a backlash, Muslims and their Left allies will immediately claim that Muslims are being victimised. Gone will be the support for the families of the dead and injured. What we will hear is 24 hrs a day, how a poor Muslim woman had her hijab torn off.

This has to stop. The sheer stupidity of the MSM is endangering the West, themselves included.

Like most drugs, alcohol does not "make" you do anything you don't really want to do. What it does is lower your inhibitions, making you more likely to do something you already DO want to do, but ordinarily know you shouldn't (such as telling someone you don't like what you really think of them, etc).

45ch, you seem a little confused. I don't recall anyone on here ever claiming there are no other threats than militant Islam out there. However, this site is called Jihadwatch, and its focus is the Global Jihad. Just because other threats exist, doesn't mean we should ignore this one, even if we are statistically more likely to die because of them. For example, a given American is much more likely to die from heart disease than from being murdered by a child molesters. However, I don't think anyone is claiming we shouldn't focus on stopping child molesters because of heart disease, and if you search the internet, you will easily find sites devoted exclusively to discussing the causes and fighting against heart disease, as well as sites devoted exclusively to studying the motivations and and preventing attacks on children by pedophiles.

When there is a news article about another pedophile harming a child, I never remember hearing anyone say, "Well, what about 9/11? What about the Muslim occupation of Spain and India?" 45ch, that is fine, and I didn't debate your assertion that we are more likely to die from non jihad related causes, and you are certainly free to focus on these other issues, preferably on a website that focuses on one or more of these issues. This is Jihadwatch, and its focus is on the global jihad. What makes you think that it makes any more sense to discuss serial killers on this website than it would to discuss car accident rates on a site dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence? I have an interest in many other subjects, such as global warming and sustainable energy, but I don't raise the issues here except as it relates to the global jihad. If I were running this site, I would delete posts like yours, as they willfully distract from the topic at hand.

Well, if we want to prevent more attacks of the sort that happened at Fort Hood, the obvious thing to do is to NOT let any more Muslims into the armed forces - or the police forces - or the security services, of any majority-nonMuslim country; and to demob those already ensconced therein.

As for preventing attacks of the sort that happened in San Francisco, in North Carolina, or in Rochester, or on three occasions in Jerusalem in the past year, then it seems to me that the long-term answer is: not having Mohammedans in large (and ever-increasing) numbers living in one's free non-Muslim country. The fewer Mohammedans around, the fewer cases there will be of Sudden Jihad Syndrome.
