SecDef orders Army inquiry into why nobody reported the Fort Hood jihadist

Secretary Gates, I can save you a lot of time and trouble: no one reported Nidal Hasan because they were afraid of the repercussions that would come to them in this politically correct age. They were afraid of being accused of being racists, bigots, hatemongers, etc. They were afraid of showing up in the next Council on American-Islamic Relations Action Alert.

But it will be interesting to see what creative fiction your investigators come up with in lieu of admitting that.

"Gates orders Army inquiry after Fort Hood killings," from the BBC, November 19 (thanks to Hildegard):

A review of US Army and Pentagon policies has been ordered by the defence secretary in the wake of a shooting at a military base.

The review will include Pentagon medical and personnel programmes, and US military base security.

Defence Secretary Robert Gates appointed a former Army secretary and an ex-Navy chief to report in 45 days.

The review is in addition to others into the Fort Hood shooting in which 13 people were killed.

Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, was shot by police during the incident on 5 November, and remains in hospital. He has been charged with 13 counts of murder.

"The shootings at Fort Hood raise a number of troubling questions that demand complete but prompt answers," Mr Gates said at the Pentagon....

Former US Army secretary Togo West and former chief of naval operations, Admiral Vernon Clark will oversee the review.

US President Barack Obama has already ordered a review of the way intelligence agencies handled information about the major.

US intelligence authorities revealed they knew Maj Hasan had been in contact with a cleric sympathetic to al-Qaeda.

An FBI-led task force monitoring the e-mail of Yemen-based US cleric Anwar al-Awlaki said he had communicated with Maj Hasan - a US-born Muslim and army psychiatrist - on 10 to 20 occasions.

However, it was decided that further investigation was not needed, as the content of the messages did not advocate or threaten violence.

The reason IMO, is "Political Correctness", and it may kill many more before the citizens finally wake up.

The proposed language in the bill bans blasphemy.

But most Christians view the Muslim view of Jesus to be blasphemy. I guess that means that if the law is adopted, then Islam will be banned because it is blasphemy.

Or maybe not.

Not terribly unlike the strong possibility that passengers and the flight crew on the infamous Flying Imans US Air Flight out of Minneapolis who had put themselves at risk of being sued thanks to CAIR. Even though what the passengers did when they became suspicious of the Imans strange behavior was encouraged and recommended after 9-11. It was still amazing and surprising that there where not legal guidelines in place to protect US Airways, and the Passengers from a CAIR Lawsuit.

Republican New York Representative Peter King went to bat on the house floor with a law to protect them. Still the lawsuit brought by CAIR, the flying Imans and a New York Muslim Attorney reached some settlement even after that.

What this and many more cases have spelled out is that it is these constant lawsuits brought by trial lawyers that have forced people into a state of political correctness in this nation.

As an example large corporations allowed law firms to draw up guidelines in sexual abuse cases in the work place-- well what happen is you could end up being sued if someone feared you where lairing at them-- and that is how bad political correctness has become as it paralyzes the nation to act.

Admiral Mullen, President George W. Bush's Joint Chiefs of Staff, warned Israel off preempting Iran's nascent nuclear capability lest it provoke the Iranians into retaliating. It would appear that we have few men with moral courage in the upper ranks of our military, judging by weak answers to frank media questions from General Casey and Admiral Mullen. These two men seem to worry a lot.

Mullen interviewed by Chris Wallace, Fox News, July 2008:

WALLACE: I want to ask you two questions about Iran. How do you weigh as a military man, as the top military man, the downside risk if either the U.S. or Israel were to militarily strike Iran in terms of blowback from Iran and its allies in the region, increased turmoil in that area, increased turmoil in the oil market?

MULLEN: I think it would be significant. I worry about it a lot. I've said when I've been asked this before right now I'm fighting two wars, and I don't need a third one. [...]

But I worry about the instability in that part of the world and, in fact, the possible unintended consequences of a strike like that and, in fact, having an impact throughout the region that would be difficult to both predict exactly what it would be and then the actions that we would have to take to contain it.

But Obama is on the run. He has spent the past year in many separate, long trips all over the place -- in Western Europe, where he gave Gordon Brown some DVDs and Michele Obama in chummy fashion - nobody here but us queens -- put her arm on the Queen's shoulder, to Russia, where Obama decided to hold a Town Meeting to which both dissidents and members of the government, that is of the K.G.B., were invited, thus effectively shutting up the dissidents and appalling all Russian liberals, who were distinctly unimpressed with his understanding of their situation, to China (where he received nothing for all his attempts at "dialogue" with others far more worldly and ruthless than he -- not once did he suggest, for example, that the American government, or American consumers, could stop buying Chinese goods in an organized fashion, if China did not cooperate on Iran, on North Korea, and on global warming, though that conceivable threat should have been an obvious one to slyly make, and then of course he went to Cairo, where he delivered a speech on Islam, that though containing more grotesque misinformation about Islam -- its texts, its tenets, its attitudes, its atmospherics -- than any speech by any non-Muslim leader in history, it did not even have the intended effect, to win over Muslims, who are -- our "allies" that is, never mind our declared enemies -- just as intransigent, just as corrupt, just as determined to use us and inveigle as much aid as they can, just as unwavering in their desire to create the conditions that will inexorably lead to the disappearance of the tiny non-Muslim nation-state of Israel, just as determined to undo, from within, the Western world, by terrorism or, for some, not by terrorism but rather by such "peaceful" means -- for which we are apparently all supposed to be grateful, and breathe a sigh of relief -- as deployment of the Money Weapon, well-financed and carefully-targetted campaigns of Da'wa in North America and Europe and, not least, through demographic conquest which proceeds, without attempts to halt, much less reverse it, all over the Western world, and this in the short term causes an enormous security headache and a situation of permanent societal worry and disruption and general upset, and threats to free speech, and if not dealt with could lead to the destruction of our own, far more advanced, tolerant, decent, societies whose freedoms, whose science, whose art, whose everything could not for one minute have developed under Islam.

And on the domestic front Obama, the most left-wing of our Presidents, has done more damage to the middle class, has indeed been responsible, with the terms and conditions and negligence with which the TARP program was fashioned, for what is surely the greatest single transfer of wealth from the deserving middle class to the most undeserving segment of our rich. And the terms that the Obama Administration struck, the tens of billions for which it overpaid (see A.I.G.) are further cause for alarm.

Meanwhile, not one piece of major and important legislation has yet passed, and the most important of all, that on global warming, not only has not passed, but because Obama has squandered so much political capital and so much time, may not pass.

And because of Obama's ignorance about Islam, and his simultaneous deep belief that he "knows about Islam" because, you see, from the ages of 6 to 9 he lived in Indonesia, and went to a school with both Muslim and Christian children (that is, went to a most unrepresentative school, in a most unrepresentative Muslim city, Jakarta, in a most unrepresentative and easygoing country, at the most secular moment in its history) he will have a hard time admitting to others, and to himself, that he really has a duty to study, and have his advisers, and members of the State Department and the Pentagon study, the texts, tenets, attitudes, atmospherics of Islam, and to get it right, however disturbing what they will find out, if they rely not on the venal espositos and comical armstrongs and Mesanostrans (google "MESA Nostra")but on the hundred or so great Western scholars of Islam (fl. 1870-1970), because his disastrous miscomprehension of Islam is likely to lead him to continue the squandering of men, money, materiel and morale in Afghanistan, and continue to cruelly hector the Israelis (as part of a strategy of appeasement to win unwinnable Muslim hearts and minds), and to ignore the legal, moral, and historic claims of the Jews and to ignore, above all, the intention of the League of Nations, and the juridical status -- see Julius Stone, see Howard Grief, whose books are the most authoritative legal studies onthe matter -- of what the Jordanians renamed the "West Bank" and where Jewish settlements are not only legal, by the terms of the Mandate (and the territory of the "West Bank" is part of that assigned to be part of the Jewish National Home, and was not only because the Jordanian Army managed illegally to seize that territory in 1948-49 and to hold onto it until it was re-taken by its rightful claimant, Israel, in the Six-Day War).

More troops will be sent to Afghanistan because Obama does not know how to undo what he did in Cairo, does not know how to explain to himself, much less to the American public, that Islam is not “tolerant” and “peaceful” and that the world-wide Jihad (the sum of all the local Jihads), is a threat that, at present, has as its most important theatre of war not Iraq, not Afghanistan, not Pakistan, but rather the countries of Western Europe, and the instruments of Jihad that are most dangerous, in those countries, are the Money Weapon, campaigns of Da’wa, and demographic conquest. And instead of sending troops to quixotically “defend” one set of (hopelessly hostile) Muslims against another (even more hopelessly hostile) Muslims, we should withdraw, as an intelligent sheriff would refuse to enter a saloon where two outlaws, who are dead set on killing him but also dead set on killing each other, are ciricling one another, just about to draw their guns from their holsters. Can Obama rise to the occasion, be as necessarily ruthless as he must be, and without announcing his new policy, combine a withdrawal from Afghanistan with other acts that will show that, nearly a year into his presidency, and eight years after the attacks of 9/11/2001, he has finally begun to rethink the threat of Islam, begun to recognize the usefulness of recognizing, analyzing, and exploiting pre-existing fissures within the Camp of Islam, not only to weaken it from within, by forcing its rival groups to use up their men, their money, their war materiel, but also to keep them preoccupied with the threats to their own well-being (one hopes, for example, that disorder in Yemen, ideally supported by Iran, will keep Saudi Arabia on edge for a long time), so that they have less money to spend, and less time to cause mischief, in Dar al-Harb, the Domain of War, the House of the Infidels.

There is so much that needs to be done to signal that leaving Afghanistan – and ceasing to provide the vast sums that, as in Iraq, or in Egypt, or Jordan, or among the soi-disant “Palestinians,” supplies the very wherewithal for the corruption we deplore. Some things cannot be avoided, and must be undertaken – the frantic worry over Pakistan’s nuclear bombs shows that we have to deal with Iran’s nuclear project, not through sanctions which will not work (and contrary to the hopes of outsiders, the most intelligent people within Iran believe the Islamic Republic of Iran cannot be overturned or dislodged, despite the mediagenic efforts of the opposition on which such hope has been too optimistically placed, and its strength overrated), but through bombing, that will work, and will set back efforts for years, and what’s more, after an initial rally-round-the-flag, the humiliation of the destruction, and the obvious waste of many tens of billions of dollars on that nuclear project, and the implied threat that it will, when necessary, be bombed again – all this is the thing, the only thing, that might lead to the successful collapse of the miserable regime in Tehran).

But that is something that has to be done in any case. Other things can be done as part of signaling that far from yielding to the forces of Islam, the pullout of American troops and civilians, and the ending of aid , are part of a much more clever, and even ruthless strategy. To show that the American military will be used when it makes sense – as with Iran (the bombing should not be left up to tiny Israel -- the American government should assume its responsibilities as a great power, as the most powerful of the Infidel nation-states) – the Americans should consider seizing the southern (Christian) Sudan and (Muslim, but non-Arab, black African) Darfur, with a small force, and holding both territories until such time as a referendum on independence for both places can be plausibly held. The spectacle of grateful black Africans will be one that the Arab and Muslim bloc at the U.N. will have a great deal of trouble with, as it tries to claim the divine right of Arabs to impose their will on black Africans. Black African Christians, the object of increasingly aggressive and violent attacks for years (see, for example, the genesis, conduct, and outcome of the Biafra War), will be heartened, and they need some heartening, and the forces of Islam need to be checked.

In Western Europe, where people are fed up with what their political and media elites have done, in allowing so many Muslims into their countries, where the large-scale presence of such Muslims has led to a situation now widely recognized as one that is far more unpleasant, expensive (the increase costs for monitoring large Muslim populations), and physically dangerous, both for the indigenous non-Muslims and for other, but non-Muslim, immigrants, the Americans must make common cause with, and encourage, and do nothing to discourage, those who have come to understand, at long last, what the ideology of Islam is all about, and why it makes little sense to hope that more than a few Muslims can truly be integrated into societies where Infidel laws and customs, all of them flatly contradicted by the letter and spirit of the Shari’a, are likely to be undone, sooner or later, by the pressure of inexorably – if nothing is done – increasing Muslim populations, whose presence demoralizes, and disrupts, in every way, the non-Muslims who have not made a fanatical fetish of that unexamined Idol of the Age, “Diversity.”

Is Obama, are his advisers, capable of rising to the occasion? Are they capable of any of this? If they are, if they can withdraw from Afghanistan for the right reasons, if they can stop transferring enormous sums from our own Treasury to various Muslim states and demand that those states go and ask the rich Arabs to support them (thus putting to the test the supposed unity of the world-wide Umma, by putting Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Libya, and others on the spot – and whether the rich Arabs (and Iran) give, or withhold, aid, the resentments of the oil-and-gas-less Muslims will grow, and so will the resentments of the rich Arabs and Iranians, who have grown quite comfortable with the way in which the rich Infidel countries have taken on the responsibility of transferring still more of their wealth to Muslim countries, this time not by buying oil, but by the even more psychologically disturbing transfer of aid, in transactions that resemble, both on the part of the Muslim recipients, who take this aid as a given and display no gratitude at all, and on the part of the non-Muslim donors, who show a reluctance to end or diminish such aid because of what they fear would be the reaction of the Muslim recipients – in other words, the classic attitudes observable when the Jizyah is being exacted).

But perhaps he, and his advisors, will fool us, and show, at long last, that they are not prisoners of their past pieties and misunderstandings.

A hope.

A fairly forlorn hope.

But still – a hope.

Sorry. I meant to write:

Admiral Mullen, President George W. Bush's Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman.....

Merely for the purposes of clarification, ALL Christians view the Islamic rendering of Jesus, called Christ, as nothing short of utter blasphemy (yours truly included).

Anything else is useless, spineless, liberal PC hand-wringing and wishful thinking.

What is hilarious to me about this entire mess is those same people demanding an investigation and blaming political correctness for Major Nidal Hassan's terrorist attack in the next sentence are always very careful to clarify that their statements have nothing to do with the rest of the Muslim community which according to them are peaceful and law abiding Muslims, even though they have no idea what the texts and tenants of Islam inculcates. In other words, at the same time that they blame and condemn political correctness for the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood they also make sure to always be politically correct.

Another thing about the PC multiculturalism that has run amuck in this country that is funny to observe is every Muslim is always assumed to be a so-called moderate Muslim, that is until the first time he or she acts like a Muslim. Then they are immediately reclassified as being a so-called radical extremist Muslim.

Not to mention that I thought that dividing people into two camps, a so-called moderate and peaceful camp and a so-called radical and extremist camp is about as racist as racist gets. I mean should the Muslims retaliate by dividing kafir infidels into a moderate camp and an extremist camp too.

Meanwhile, we are in Iraq and Afghanistan propping up two Sharia states and pursuing a PC fantasy based nation building mission in the hopes of winning the hearts and minds of Muslims who are obligated per their religion to hate kafir infidels no matter what, and in order for them to become loyal allies and friends of the kafir infidel Americans they would have to betray their religion and at the same time be condemned to hell. And never mind the fact that as soon as we finally leave those two God forsaken places, if ever, both of them will rejoin the perpetual global jihad much sooner and stronger thanks to our help. Now does that make any sense? It's the blind leading the blind.

Most all things will be considered in the Army inquiry except the truth, that being that Islam itself, most all of it, is the problem. You can take this one to the bank.

Sadly, nothing of substance will be learned. Excuses couched in psychobabble and masquerading as arguments and reasons will be issued forth left and right, but all will miss the target. No, sadly, tragically, there will have to be many more Fort Hoods, not to mention a cataclysmic event or two that will eclipse 9/11, before it's realized that Islam is evil (no, not all Muslims are malevolent, though all Muslims are confused and all adult Muslims are still responsible to a greater or lesser degree for the rot they accept as true and which plagues the world). It's that simple, that complex and that tragic.

Ah, a long way to go yet till Islam is discredited to the extent Marxism and Nazism have been. Understandable in one respect and that is that it's human nature to assume a major faith can't be rotten, just really awful. This assumption is erroneous and will have to be overcome before man is free of one of man's worst creations ever-------Islam.

THAT'S WHAT WE VOTED FOR -- HOPE! HOPENCHANGE!

Sorry for the shouting, but I got overexcited there just a bit.

My own favorite telling bit from the article is when they said 'it was decided' -- good old accountability-dodging passive voice there -- 'it was decided, we had nothing to do with it, no, the decision just sort of happened, while we were just sitting there, none of us decided anything, honest!'

Victims! of decisions that make themselves!

Wow.

Posters are wrong. Although we will not get the sort of overwhelming change of heart requested by Hugh, the military will note, in a serious way, that no one handled the situation "because they were afraid of the repercussions that would come."

Soldiers are dead, and many, many of the living perceive clearly what has happened.

We are talking about the American military. They ain't such nothings as their Commander in Chief.

"just as determined to undo, from within, the Western world, by terrorism or, for some, not by terrorism but rather by such "peaceful" means"

Both VJ and SJ co-operate symbiotically. At this late stage of the game, if someone as perspicacious as Hugh can't see this, it augurs ill.

Hugh,

The forlorn hopes sent to break the sieges fighting the British Empire were volunteers for reasons of advancement, honour and desperation. And each was done as part of a master plan of the commander on scene to inevitably defeat the enemy within his stronghold, and gain the “high” ground being held.

But these philanthropic endeavours of goodwill which backfire with every attempt, as the will of the American people weaken with the loss of their soldiers, and the mindset of the collective common sense reaches for reasons for the cost of a war with no attainable goal, deliver an unreasonable reality is setting in: leave Dar al-Islam before it sucks the marrow from our bones. (I say “our” because so much of the USA’s foreign policy is tied to NATO endeavours by all nations involved.)

A public response which delivers “forlorn” assaults on islam as an apologetic discourse for Obama’s actions (of which I do not accuse you of in any way, but may be construed as) might be the ammunition which releases the hounds of war as a response to overt peace initiatives repudiated at every turn. BUT, the flip side of the coin is not to war, but to completely withdraw, not because one looses, but because the ideological war cannot be won; at least not on the battlefield that the jihadists have decidedly dominated, which would be the field of public opinion.

I thought Canada was bad for PC MC accommodations, and my socialistically influenced brethren are the first to extol their superior attitudes at the silliness of American anti-health care, pro-gun culturalisms, however, America’s denial of different cultures to force immigrants into a melting pot has only resulted in the most extremist pendulum swing of PCism I’ve ever seen. The reverse racism of black on white should have been a red flag from the start, but instead it was apologized for, and that was an endemic reality which leant to Fort Hood’s tragic islamic terrorist result.

If there is, as you postulate, any hope of you current administration’s cartoonish platitudes of doing any good, it will be to awaken the minds of the common American to the threat which many continue to mask its’ truth under the banner of appeasement.

A forlorn hope? Not at all. Just stupidity finally garnering the attention it deserves. Forlorn hopes are honourable, and what Obama’s has been doing is anything but.

PS - DOD word search found H1N1 but zilch for "islam" - how sad and dangerous...

"Merely for the purposes of clarification, ALL Christians view the Islamic rendering of Jesus, called Christ, as nothing short of utter blasphemy (yours truly included)."

Would that that were true. Truth is most Christians in the West are so clueless that they couldn't even tell you the fact that Islam rejects their entire religion in that it denies Christ, denies he rose from the dead. They would say that Islam "respects" Jesus as a prophet. If ALL Christians actually did view Islam as a direct rejection of everything they believe in and blasphemy the West would not be in the trouble it is today.

A good article from Ireland about the why of Fort Hood. As you can see political correctness has not yet strangled comment there at least. Yet?

http://www.independent.ie/opinion/analysis/a-nation-in-fear-of-being-seen-as-antimuslim-1943905.html

Robert, you said that "they were afraid of the repercussions that would come to them in this politically correct age."

Political Correctness may be the reason, but I think that "multiculturalism" is also a big part of what is keeping the Liberals from doing anything to keep America safe from radical Islam. Those who adhere to multiculturalism see the real enemy as being he European American male, who is still dominant in America, not the minority Muslims groups. Multiculturalism blames the plight of the blacks, the women, the poor and the minorities on the European American male. Since it mainly the European American males who are complaining about the threat of radical Islam, those who adhere to Multiculturalism won't listen. They will try to find every other excuse in the book to explain what is going on. The white man has done many racist things in the past, but we cannot let the multiculturalist's destroy America out of spite for the white man.

"no one reported Nidal Hasan because they were afraid of the repercussions that would come to them in this politically correct age. Islam thrives is dealing out fear....get rid of that fear and good things will begin to happen....

Nice article, Fred. Thanks for the heads-up.

What's the circulation of 'The Independent' like? (I did like the little Irish harp on their logo).

Does 'The Independent' appear on paper as well as online? All over Ireland, or is it regional?

The Independent is Ireland's leading national broadsheet. While it far outsells any other paper, Ireland being a small country its circulation is only 170,000 daily.

I do not think any writer on a British paper could be so outspoken.

Hey all my fun loving kafirs. After reading these comments and others I must put my two cents in. Those who say that the Fort Hood shooting was not a terrorist attack is covered in political correctness that has plagued this country.

For the certain groups of people who have said that this shooting has nothing to do with Islam like (CAIR) and (ISNA), and that they condemn this shooting, have only put themselves on the lists of hypocrites.

In a fundraising letter, CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad told potential donors that within hours of the attack by a Muslim Army major, the Washington, D.C.-based group issued a statement of condemnation to thousands of local, national and international media outlets.

Bu there is documented proof that CAIR and ISNA have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood who are ever pushing to have the constitution here in America banned and replaced with Shariah Law. In "Muslim Mafia" the new book by P. David Gaubatz and "Infiltration" author Paul Sperry, documents CAIR's ultimate purpose to transform the United States into an Islamic nation under the authority of the Quran.

Here are some of what the book reveals during the investigation which CAIR had not denied.
Some key smoking-gun revelations detailed in "Muslim Mafia" include:

New evidence that CAIR was launched to support the Hamas terrorist group, and has transferred tens of thousands of dollars to a group recently convicted as Hamas' top fundraising arm in the U.S. – money that ended up aiding terrorist attacks on Israelis and Americans;

Internal documents showing CAIR, despite claims of cooperating with law enforcement, actively works behind the scenes to mislead and deceive the FBI on behalf of terrorism suspects – and has even cultivated Muslim moles inside law enforcement who have tipped off FBI terror targets;

CAIR is more closely tied to al-Qaida than previously reported;

CAIR claims to represent all Muslim Americans; however, it has victimized some 100 indigent Muslims in a massive fraud and threatened them when they tried to go to the media; and internally, personnel complaints reveal CAIR discriminates against Shiite Muslims and Muslim women within its own headquarters;

CAIR and its sister fronts are funded by foreign Muslim Brotherhood sources;

CAIR leaders share the Muslim Brotherhood's ultimate goal to replace the U.S. Constitution with Shariah law:

The Muslim Brotherhood investment in corporate America will be used to pressure U.S. companies into compliance with Islamic principles. (Known as Shariah Finance).
The book also shows radical Muslims in the U.S. are working to support Palestinian terrorists, destroy Israel, gut U.S. anti-terrorism laws, loosen U.S. Muslim immigration policies and convert Americans to Islam.

A shortage of Arab linguists and dozens of discrimination suits by Arab and Muslim employees have prompted the FBI to recruit from Brotherhood-related groups, such as the Islamic Society of North America.

So to say that these groups are against the Fort Hood terrorist attack and that they condemn this is an outright lie. That is like me being an outspoken opponent on abortion(which I am) and then funding Planned Parenthood which performs abortions or working in an abortion clinic would be hypocritical.

Nidal Hasan used the same Koran that all muslims read to perpetrate his jihadist attack. He emailed a radical imam in yemen with ties to Al-Qeada who in turn preached at the same mosque that 2 of the 9/11 hijackers attented, Nidal visited jihadist websites, had SOA which means soldier of Allah on his business card, said Allah Akbar before he started shooting, sent between 20 to 30000 dollars to muslim charities who in turn were front groups for radical islamist, and gave a slideshow presentation on his radical beliefs. Ok, what clues were missed?? Why was something not done?, because of political correctness and the fear of being called a bigot, racist, or islamaphobe. Go ahead and call me an islamaphobe. I refuse to be politically correct or be afraid to comment on the evilness and intolerance of Islam.

There are over 100 verses in the Koran that tell believers to exhort violence and murder towards kafirs (non-believers). Surahs 9:5.9:29:8:60 just to name a few, are they taking these "out of context" when they use these verses to justify their jihadists tendencies?

Now muslims will use Surah 2:256 that says that there is no compulsion in religion. While there are some peaceful verses in the Koran, the 9th surahs were the last to be put into the Koran and abrogated the peaceful verses of the Koran. The peaceful surahs were known as the Mecca verses before Muhammed had the power or ability to fight those that refused him, but when he fled to Medina with some of his followers, he came back with an army and was in a position to fight his foes and garner more converts to his created religion.

While I have nothing against muslims, that is not what I am saying. I am against Islam and its teachings. I do not think that muslims should be allowed in the military, FBI,CIA, or any other areas where something like this can happen nor tip off their cohorts and do incomprehensible or irreversible damage to our national security.

People like Abdullah whos messages I have read, but forgive me if I am wrong, has not once condemned these shootings, but continues to circumvent around the obvious. Him and other like minded muslims and their apologists are too busy trying to explain away these atrocities committed in the name of Islam that they do not have time to protest these same atrocities committed in the name of Islam.

We continue to have plenty of them in our Congress, military, law enforcement, the Obama administration,(including Obama himself), and places of educational institutions; all in the name of the infamous political correctness.

I am sure if Prophet Muhammed were alive today, he would have been so proud of 9/11, Fort Hood, and other violence, terrorist acts, and murder committed in the very religion he created.

The truth is like dirt, you can sweep it under the rug only to hide it, but it is still there.

"The only way for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke
