WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Army's top general expressed concern on Sunday that last week's mass shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, blamed on a Muslim Army officer, could fuel a backlash in the military against Muslim troops.General George Casey, U.S. Army chief of staff, cautioned against jumping to conclusions about whether religious beliefs motivated the accused gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim born in the United States of immigrant parents.
"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that," Casey told CNN's "State of the Union."
There are about 3,000 Muslims on active duty military service or in the National Guard or reserve forces, Casey said. They remain a small minority within the U.S. military.
A Fort Hood official has said Hasan yelled "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is Greatest" -- just before the shooting in which 13 people were killed and 30 wounded. The 39-year-old U.S. Army psychiatrist was shot four times by police. He was hospitalized but no longer needed a ventilator to breathe....

That headline tells me the US is in far more trouble than I first imagined. Forget about countries like Sweden being the most PC in the West - it looks like the US has taken that unwanted top spot. PC is now rampant in the States to a far greater extent than in Europe. I would find it hard to believe that any British Army General would say anything like that if a Fort Hood-style atrocity took place here in Britain.
Actually I thought winning wars was more important than looking politically correct.

Can you imagine, as soon many others have pointed out, having avowed Nazi's in the military during WWII? Yes, some people of German heritage were translators, but they had fled that nation and all that it stood for. Not so with muslims.

When I grew up (not in the US) I listened discussions about how the US would lose it status of super power. You know, history is full of empires that raise and fall. Scenarios would vary around another country defeating the US militarily. Nobody would predict the US falling from within. I always doubted these predictions.
Now, I don't believe my eyes. I could never imagine I would witness the fall of the US from within. Will the powerful US military machine be defeated, like the Red Army, without the need of a single shot? Just a bunch of termites causing the foundation to collapse?

Mr. Casey has no business being a general. He is not an intellectual nor does he have the intellect to see things as they are. He is the product of a corrupt morality and philosophy. Contrary to what he believes, one cannot believe anything one wants to AND be an American. This would necessarily mean that it means absolutely nothing to be American and "American" has no definition, nor any values, nor anything worth fighting for or against.
To be an American one must recognize that human beings, by their nature, are born with the RIGHTS OF MAN. Life, Property, Liberty, The Pursuit of Happiness, the requirement that they must be treated equally before the law. An American must also recognize that the only legitimate purpose of a government is to protect these Rights. This idea itself is incompatible with Sharia Law.
