It was Islamic jihadists yet again. Still looking for evidence of the rampant attacks by Christians that will justify the fashionable equivalence. (I know, I know: Tim McVeigh! Lord's Resistance Army! IRA! None of those, of course, were motivated by the texts and teachings of Christianity the way Islamic jihadists, by their own account, are motivated by the texts and teachings of Islam.)
"Pakistan mosque struck by car bomb," from the Irish Sun, December 18 (thanks to Twostellas):
A suicide car bomber has struck near a mosque inside a police compound in northwestern Pakistan in the Lower Dir region. As he detonated his explosives, ten people, mostly police leaving the mosque after Friday prayers, were killed.
The incident is believed to be the latest in attacks by suspected Taliban militants who are warring with the Pakistani government....
Friday's attack was the second in two weeks against mosques that security forces use for worship.
The blast also wounded another 28 people.
Odd. I thought this was recently declared haram. Apparently somebody didn't get the memo.
Well, I still believe Jayna Davis' credible research in The Third Terrorist. As much as her research and book was ignored by the press, it was never discredited. I know that's not the point of this story, but every time Timothy McVeigh is mentioned, I can't help but mention it.
