Three helicopters hovered overhead while trucks carrying commando teams and ambulances raced through the cordoned-off area as soldiers kept onlookers and traffic away.
The attack, the third to target Rawalpindi in nearly two months, began when several gunmen staged an explosion to break through a checkpoint close to the mosque, which was popular with army officers, said Yasir Nawaz, a police official at the scene. He said the installation included an army parade ground as well as the mosque, which was often used by military officers....
So often, Muslims only seem to remember "believers are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" when attacking Infidels.

Well, there is that. Through the handy doctrine of "Takfir", any Muslim toward whom any other Muslim feels enmity—an all-too-common occurrance—can simply be labeled a "hypocrite" or an "apostate", and then it is perfectly Halal to slaughter them, as they would any other non-believer.
I am still confused about Islamic apologists insisting that the jihad is a "defensive war". Whom are you defending yourself against? In this case, and many others, it would appear that Muslims are always defending themselves from other Muslims.

Zeinab Badawi of BBC TV was interviewing the Pakistani foreign minister,and she said that Pakistan had more terrorist per square km than any place in the world.She(Zeinab)also said that there is a suicide bombing there every forty eight hours.What a hell hole!
Yes, I know this was an attack in a moskkk and (this time) it wasn't an attack on people of other faiths. And, yes, I do pray for the families of those killed in this fascist violence. However, if you haven't already seen it, I want you to read Undaunted's Nov. 22 piece that touches on this matter of 'violence in places of worship' entitled "Real Men don't hide behind Jesus". Yes, I still think prayer is the more important weapon - and I think we need to be constant in our prayers... however, the spineless slaves of mudhummed will stop at nothing and I really do want the next generation to have the privilege to worship as they choose...

MSNBC reports 17 kids among dozens killed in Pakistan attack
17 children?!? This really, really bugs me....it's beyond heart-wrenching. I'll never understand how anyone can brazenly gun down kids like this. I really hope to see those who loudly protested the Muhammad cartoons to come out with triple the ire against killing-kids-in-mosques, but sadly, I'm not holding my breath. :-(

almost all have been Muslims killed by other Muslims....It appears Muslims don't care who they kill...ever other Muslims....I suspect as long as the blood is flowing the followers of the peaceful religion of Islam are a happy bunch...
Other than that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, its imminent collapse comes as good news. Solely because Pakistan does have NWs, its imminent collapse constitutes a potential catastrophy for America and the West. What to do? I truly do not know.
