What? Not the Zionists?

An attempt to create a provocation, but Obama is unlikely to take the bait. "Iran says former deputy defense min held by U.S.," from Reuters, December 9 (thanks to James):

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran believes the United States is holding a former deputy defense minister who disappeared in 2007 and 10 other Iranian nationals, according to a list carried by the semi-official Mehr news agency on Wednesday.

Separately, a Saudi official denied Iran's claim that Riyadh handed an Iranian nuclear scientist to the United States, saying the kingdom had searched in vain for him on its territory.

"Saudi authorities searched for him after being informed of his disappearance in Medina and at all the hospitals, hotels and centers in Mecca -- even at his place of residence -- but they could not find him," Saudi Foreign Ministry media chief Osama al-Nogali said.

On Tuesday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman said 11 Iranians were being detained in the United States, naming only the missing scientist, Shahram Amiri. U.S. State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley, speaking to reporters in Washington, declined to comment on the situation.

The list on Mehr also named former deputy minister Ali Reza Asgari and included a former ambassador to Jordan.

Iran and the United States have had no diplomatic relationship for three decades and are embroiled in a long-running row over Tehran's nuclear program, which the West suspects is aimed at making bombs. Iran denies the charge....

Come on Iran, get with the program. The One would have engaged in "smart" diplomacy: blame the previous administration, issue pardons, on Holder's recommendation, and apologized anywhere and everywhere. Since the Narcissist-in-chief has done none of these, it is quite clear that those people "missing" are either by your action or just decided that the strip bars of the West were far more interesting than the mullahs.

They're obviouosly being held in the same cell as Otis the Drunk (alcohol=kafir). He has a key to the cell so he could let them go at will. They've probably radicalised Otis already in proper jihadi fashion seeing it's a jail, and he's probably already changed his name to Otis el Sah'ari Somethingorother.

The US should trade these 11 Iranian hostages for the spy squirrels Iran is holding...The squirrels have a lot more value...

OT But very good news.

The English couple accused of insulting a Mohammedan and it's false prophet have been cleared of any charges.

A true victory for free speech.

Although not in the written report; the TV is saying that the verdict was received by a huge round of applause from the court gallery and then cheers from the accused supporters.

What? Not the Zionists?

Of COURSE the Zionists. Remember, the USA is just a puppet of the Zionists so their involvement is directly implied.

"Mr Vogelenzang admitted that his wife may have referred to the hijab as a form of bondage, but said he only listed historical figures such as Hitler, Nero and Mao to make light of the situation."

That's the first time I've heard of bringing up such evil personages to lighten the conversation...I can only imagine what else was said.

Stratagypage has a story about Iran's big military exercise a few weeks ago. "The Iranian generals were surprised at how uncoordinated and ill prepared their forces defended against air attack. Communications were spotty (due to equipment failures and poor training), and weapons (aircraft and missile systems) did not perform as expected. The Iranians, it appears, were victims of their own propaganda. For years, Iran has been announcing new weapons, that don't exist. Same thing with new initiatives in training and tactics."

Staffing your armed forces with sycophants and incompetents tends to leave one with a less than satisfactory result. Iran has implicitly conceded this by emphasizing proxies, such as Hezbollah and Hamas, and Iraqi Shiite militias, in its battles against the West and Israel. Iran, not unlike Iraq before them, has fed its population fairy tales about its military capabilities. Unfortunately, an isolated ruling class begins to believe its own trash talk and begins to act rashly.

I believe Iran is still holding three innocent hikers...

Thank God Andy has Barney's bullet or he might shoot hisself a jihadi!
