Earlier in the day, he was arrested after police say he walked into several Memphis businesses and threatened to blow them up.Court records show Ibrahim was also telling people he was Muslim, and wanted to start a jihad, or holy war, in Memphis.
Police say when they arrested him, he had a butcher knife hidden in one of his jacket sleeves.

No there is something wrong with this story. No judge could possibly be that callous or careless based on what police said occurred.

The mere activity of going to public places and announcing you are a Muslim and are going to blow them up should justify, in a sane world, the immediate neutralization of the Muslim with deadly force. One blown-up public place with untold numbers murdered is one too many to gamble on the likelihood that any given incident will be a dry jihad.
And yet not one mention on this website about the millions of MUSLIMS in Iran that are fighting for their freedom against a fundamentalist government and bare mention of the fact that the MUSLIM father of the attempted NWA bombed tried to turn him in and the fact that the MUSLIM parents of the American college students who went to Pakistan to fight turned them in as well? All those peaceful decent human beings must misunderstand Islam.
Why do the authorities hate the public so much? Who set the bail for Mohamed Ibrahim? What guidelines were followed for the determination of this very low sum?
So this is #31 on the list of incidents of the various flavors of Islamic qital -- attempted terror attacks, terror plots in the planning stage nipped in the bud by law enforcement, and sudden jihad syndrome attempts successful or not -- on American soil since 911?
Given the fact that almost 1/4 of the world's population is muslims, 31 incidents over nearly 10 years does not equate to much. If all or most muslims were acting on a violent ideology, planes would be blown out of the sky all over the world everday.
It was all a complete misunderstanding. Mr. Ibrahim is claerly a management consultant, and when he told the businessmen he wanted to "blow up" their businesses, he meant to blow them up in size, to expand them. Of course, it was a poor choice of words, with the businessmen naturally jittery right after the Detroit airliner attack.

I exempt those "millions" of Iranian people because of the analyses of Diana West that show the leaders they support are no less fanatical and anti-American than the current bunch, along with my experience discussing issues with a few Iranian ex-pat ex-Muslims who might as well be Muslims, given their attitudes and ideas about the West and America. I mean, if ex-Muslim Iranians are that bad, how much worse would Iranian Muslims be, no matter if they demonstrate in the street with blue jeans on.
As for the father of the Nigerian, at best he is a co-dependent enabler of the same monster that breeds the twisted murderous fanaticism that infected his son -- and what's worse, the father can't even see that. Sure, it's nice that he saw fit to inform the authorities. But if he's not a 2-year-old and he's not a retard, I expect more of him as a thinking adult. With conversion to Islam in the United States going on at an alarming rate we have to start considering the unthinkable whenever we hear of a screwball decision like this being made: Is he a Muslim? Because nowadays it is a real possibility.

Do you believe it is likely that he will even appear? The amount he had to pay to post bond was absurdly low. It is almost as if the judge wanted him to flee. $100 is not even 1% of the bond value. Something is really screwy here.
I dont think you can find a Muslim judge in Memphis BUT there is so much corruption going on in the judicial system that a watchdog has opened an investigation months ago and published a report that we hope will attract attention and clean up the place.
The corruption is mostly in family court where judges are in bed with lawyers , deplete the family assets, use the children as pond and after having made enough money defy the laws and give everything to the one who is able to pay.
Complaints against judges are most of the time thrown under the rug by the TCOJ . This corruption is the reason why the Sharia law is creeping in this deadly state and potential terrorist will get away.

Let's all note, first of all, that the incident took place *on a Friday*. That is, on the Muslim 'holy' day.
And that this Muslim didn't simply tell the non-Muslim business establishments {I'm assuming they were non-Muslim. They *might* have included some run by slack Muslims - dda} that he was going to 'blow them up'. It was an 'or else'.
What he seems to me to have been trying to do was to impose a sharia-related rule: no doing business on Fridays. With the incredible arrogance of the average sharia-pusher, he was 'commanding right and forbidding wrong': he was marching into kafir businesses, in a kafir country, which - in defiance of the Islamic 'holiness' of Fridays - were open and doing business, and he was telling them to shut down, OR ELSE.
