A Muslim chef who lost a claim of religious discrimination against Scotland Yard after complaining he was forced to cook sausages and bacon faces a legal bill of more than £75,000.Hasanali Khoja accused the Metropolitan Police of failing to consider his Islamic beliefs when he was asked to handle pork products as a catering manager at a police station.
The £23,000-a-year chef claimed suggestions by his bosses that he should wear gloves and use tongs left him 'stressed and humiliated'. Muslims are banned from eating pork under Islamic law.
But Mr Khoja, 62, lost his claim in May after a police employee told an employment tribunal how she saw Mr Khoja eat bacon rolls and sausages.
The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) has now won a ruling ordering Mr Khoja to pay its costs, which total at least £76,200. In its costs claim, the Met said Mr Khoja 'knew that he had asked for a bacon roll two or three times for personal consumption before bringing his claim and throughout the conduct of his claim'.
'The fact that he had knowingly come into contact with pork products before bringing the claim shows that the claim had no reasonable prospect of success from the outset.'...
Mr Khoja, who sits on a Foods Standards Agency advisory committee on Muslim issues, decided to take action after Scotland Yard chiefs placed him on unpaid leave for a year after his refusal to work with pork....
But his case fell apart when another caterer, Mary Boakye, told the court she served him bacon rolls 'two or three' times at the Met canteen at Heathrow in West London.
When she told him she was surprised because his religion banned him from eating pork, Mr Khoja allegedly replied: 'I eat them once in a while.'
Another chef said he saw Mr Khoja once happily eat a sausage dish and told the court 'he was not as strict as some Muslims'.
Judge Southam also heard how Mr Khoja had made 'wild and baseless' allegations about a human resource manager, allegedly making racial facial gestures....

The court should not only push to make sure the judgment sticks and not reduce it on appeal, but countercharge Hasanali Khoja (and his "legal" advisors) for filing a frivolous lawsuit in the first place.

He gave it the old college try...and now he'll collect a check from some Saudi Prince to pay his court costs. Muslim litigants in the West have - through their patrons abroad - very, very deep pockets.
If he had not eaten bacon, would that have meant he had a right to refuse to prepare bacon and sausage, when these are widely eaten, and when his job "as a catering manager at a Metropolitan police station" would, he knew, bring him into frequent contact with such foods? Would a Muslim be allowed to apply for, and be given, a job at, say, a pig farm, or a plant selling alcohol, and then be allowed to sue if he were then discharged for refusing to perform his job on that pig farm or that whiskey plant?
Perhaps the Court should have discussed this issue, and having discussed it, and then discussed the fact that he was seen to eat bacon and sausage, and then, on either or both grounds, dismissed the claim and ordered Khoja's payment of the costs fof the defense against his preposterous, frivolous, and in the circumstances meretricious charge.
The Daily Mail story suggests that Mr. Khoja, while pleading poverty, may have the means to pay the fine himself:

1.Mr. Khoja "launched his case in 2007," hoping "for a large settlement."
2. In 2008 Mr. Khoja sold his house, carefully "splitting profits of almost 200,000 pounds with his wife and two sons." Now why would he "split the profits"? On what grounds, for what reason? Would a Muslim husband normally "split the profits" with one or more of his wives? What about the sons? Was it perhaps by this point, some time in 2008, that Mr. Khoja decided he might not win the case, and he perhaps should get some assets out from under his name, in a sham transacation?
3. In its attempt to recover from Mr. Khoja, the Metropolitan Police should investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the sale of that house and the "splitting of the profits."
Mr. Khoja is not down with British justice, and British taxpayers, quite yet.
Or at least he shouldn't be.

Isabelle, they are in way over their heads. The real question I have is whether Nationalism will raise it's ugly head as the pendulum swings the other way. I am not against getting these people to leave, but the unintended consequences should be of convern to all. We need to retain our freedoms and tolerance for those left.

To think this Muslim was pretending to be "stressed and humiliated" because of greed (the money from the lawsuit) is to superimpose onto his psychology the logic of Unbelievers. Many of us seem to fail to grasp the fundamental schizophrenia of Muslims: i.e., this Muslim can be consternated by pork and by his Infidel employees and supervisors, and at the same time can be nibbling pork on the side. His fitful Islamic laxity probably set up a psychic dissonance in his own head, and exacerbated the tension that exists in every Muslim who must co-exist with Infidels in the real world -- for every Muslim has an Infidel inside himself, against which he must "struggle" -- the inner jihad is to be waged by each Muslim against himself, to throttle, strangle and stifle the human being inside: and if the Muslim keeps failing, his tension and stress only increase, and his Islam provides him a blueprint for how to release that tension in sublime killing and being killed.
For the Met to employ a Muslim to handle their food is the height of stupidity: what would it take for such a psychologically unstable Muslim like this caterer to decide to assuage his inner Islamic demons and take it out on the Infidels whose food he is handling, by poisoning them, or infecting them with his own urine and/or feces?

The teacher only offered to pray for the sick child, yet this is deemed "offensive". What harm could a prayer for someone do?
If I was feeling ill, and someone offered to pray for me (or for that matter, to do a shakin' rockin' shaman voodoo dance of some sort) for my recovery, why should I not accept graciously in the spirit of the offer, if the person means well? I might not think it'll do any good, and might prefer a glass of juice instead, but is the person "doing me harm" or bullying me? I don't think so.
And to be honest, atheist or not, I still say a silent "thank you" when something goes right, when I finally feel like I'm getting some kind of cosmic break. Just because it can't hurt, even if there is no one to hear it.

This is excellent, sort of like when an insurance company catches someone out on disability doing work or play that proves their injury is not that bad. What is interesting is the scale of the punishment £1,000 fine and the clear threat to the jail sentence for tearing off a woman's veil. Compare this to the recent case when member of the BNP was hit over the head with a hammer needed 17 stitches and they decided not to prosecute. They covered themselves by a issuing an apparently unrelated press statement that the Crown Prosecution Service was very concerned about the number of serious assault cases that were not being prosecuted. That way if anyone did draw attention to the attack they had a ready answer – “There are xyz number of cases we do not prosecute”.
You can see the way they are thinking and it is a measure of how serious the situation is. Forget all about justice and the scale of punishment their priority is to prevent civil disorder. We all know that if people go round tearing veils off muslim women there will be riots across the country. There was Egyptian H. who taught me squash on a Friday night, then went out on a Saturday and got plastered with me chasing skirt all over town; there was Moroccan M. on the fishing boat with his Carling Special Brew (frighteningly alcoholic beer) and his meat sandwiches judged by thickness, rareness and red-hot chillie content rather than animal species (I was cook/deckhand on a North Sea trawler awhile on account of being broke), both of them truly ace blokes and human beings. Mr Z. the lawyer who stuffed the racist South London police a treat on my behalf, a Moslem defending a Jew in what looked like a cut-and-dried assault rap. Yeah, I know, balance them off against all the traitorous, mendacious, dissimulating greedy, hypocritical expletive deleteds that made life in Pakistan and Kashmir (note absence of Afghanistan - it's great as long as you avoid the Pashtu speakers) such an uphill battle, and the result is depressing. But I'd like to know how to reach the 'realists', the 'live sensibles', or whatever we call them, the ones who have done all we ask bar go 'home' - learnt the language to perfection, obeyed the laws, joined in with the cultural fun.

The use of personal examples is not really relevant. It is in accord with saying, "I knew a Communist/NAZI/BNP member who was not a bad bloke." This is the fallacy of taking the exception for the rule. Also, the persons you refer to would be bad/hypocritical Moslems or even apostates to anyone who held to the faith in an orthodox way. Islam itself is the problem, and not individuals. You complain about people wanting to ship some Moslems out, but you really offer no alternatives yourself, aside from slow social death or slavery.
Only an actual miracle, God working in the affairs of Man on earth, can Europe at this point. Western man has failed..

Muslims are strengthened spiritually by the knowledge that allah is with them, that even of they die, their cause will not, and they will be rewarded in heaven for their sacrifice.
One way or other, we will have to have an even greater faith that overrides our fear of mortality, and only then will we be able to turn back the tide of Islam. It was this strong faith, kindled in the Spanish by monks from Ireland, that defeated the Muslim invaders.
That same strong faith was working with the Hussars of Jan Sobieski, or the soldiers of Prince Eugene, or the Knights of St John in Malta.
Now common sense should dictate here, but then again look at what we are talking about-Islam. Did this guy not know that working in a kafir nation, in a kafir restaurant, and being around kafirs that he would be around kafir foods and influence?
Did he not know that he would be handling the very thing pork, that is forbidden in Islam? But alcohol is also forbidden in Islam, but that does not stop most muslims from hitting the bars and nightclubs where alcohol is served.
In Saudi Arabia, no alcohol is permitted, but that does not stop the shiekdoms, princes, kings, etc. from flying on their carpets to Bahrain to drink and mingle with the lovely ladies, who by the way are not virgins.
Only in Islamic heaven according to the Koran will alcohol there be permitted as it will not do ill to the body.

Would a Jew have been stupid enough to eat the sausage while sueing over having to handle it? If they think that they will ever reach a peace deal with Palestine or the rest of the Arab world, then that is plausible.
Now Target had a similiar case about muslims working there and handling pork, Target allowed them to keep their jobs but they did not have to handle the pork. I would have said you are fired, breach of contract. I would not care about the PC crowd. I would not keep people who refused to do something on the job that was required of them. Now had it been Jews working at Target, they would have been out on their asses with the last of their payment for services rendered in the mail.

Hold on to that, westerners travel to the muslim nations, live there, and work there. It would be senile and ignorant to think that pork is not served there in the hotels and restaurants. And, that muslims work in those same hotels and restaurants.

Maybe this will deter other muslims from not eating the "evidence" that they cannot touch or eat, or diminish their ability to get one over the British courts.

I am more optimistic than you are. I believe the people of the U.K. will eventually rise up and revolt. I might be wrong but based on what my cousins in Scotland tell me, they don't plan to surrender to the muslim hordes or the traitors in their government. I have not been to Scotland since 2001 so I must rely on what I read and what my relatives tell me. Of course, many people are apathetic to the drastic changes taking place right in front of them and you are right, the indoctrination has been quite effective. I'm too old to be brainwashed but I am well aware of how malleable children are, how easily they can be molded into compliant little group-thinkers. Sadly, this insidious cultivation of pristine minds seems to be a global endeavor.
I pray you are wrong about Europe and its people. I know that nothing can or will be done about the muslim scourge until the people elect responsible, rational leaders. I suppose if they continue to elect the same self-hating, destructive, globalist idiots, they must agree with their insidious immigration policies.
