Al-Jazeera proves Wilders' point

Check out the photo that Al-Jazeera chose to accompany its article on the Wilders trial here (thanks to Elias).

Could it be that maybe Wilders is not unjustified in sounding the alarm about the Islamization of Europe when Muslims demonstrate against him holding signs saying things like "Islam will be superior," "Islam will dominate the world," and "Freedom can go to hell"?

Monty Python must still be in business.

Once upon a time, there was a naked emperor. An innocent child saw that and excliamed,"The emperor is naked." Everyone saw that and knew it was true. However, instead of commending the child for his truthfulness, they charged him of pornography because he talked about "nakedness". They also charged him for discrimation for singling out the emperor for his nakedness. The child got puzzled at this apparent stupidity. His parents told him that he made a mistake because the emperor is the most powerful person in the country now and therefore, he is the truth!

... maybe Wilders is not unjustified in sounding the alarm...

Even if here were unjustified, in better days Wilders still would've been protected by the ethos of free speech.

Used to be justice was blind. Now it's leering, ogling, running its shiny tongue over its puffy lips, hoping to reverse fictive unjustice with a new "justice" that punishes the good by rewarding the bad, a kind of new pornography built for the ages in which we can all bite from the forbidden fruit of hate just to keep things fair.

Freedom can go to hell says the placard brandished by the angry Moslem. Well, another approach would be for this Moslem to back to wherever the hell he came from.

So when is Al-Jazeera being charged?

Could it be that maybe Wilders is not unjustified in sounding the alarm about the Islamization of Europe when Muslims demonstrate against him holding signs saying things like "Islam will be superior," "Islam will dominate the world," and "Freedom can go to hell"?

Yes—and don't forget "Shariah for the Netherlands". Yet none of this, apparently, is "hate speech". The only "hate speech is Wilders' pointing it out.

How about this? Surely, not "hate speech", either:

http://bnp.org.uk/files/2009/10/Extremist-Threats2.jpg

The above is from Wilders' visit to Britain last October. One of the fine fellows demonstrating against Wilders had this to say:

“If we had an Islamic State today, his head would be on a stake”

Nope—no "hate speech" there, either.

Apparently they were provoked ~ you know !!

They were sooo mad at Wilders that they called for Shari'a for the Netherlands and Islam to dominate the world !!

There is a PC reason for everything !!

Since the court has declared that the truthfullness of his words are irrelevant it little matters what the Islamists say or do at this point.

I do feel that the persecution of the leader of the majority part after the next election is probably only going to mack a lot of undecided Nederlanders very decided, against multiculturalism.

Non-Muslim citizens of many countries of Europe (i.e. the vast majority, currently) are implicitly on trial with Geert Wilders for thinking/saying/writing things similar to him. So solidarity with him should be second nature.

The Wilders' case is a test cast.

Increasingly, we can expect European laws, backed by the Organization of the Islamic Conference to become the instruments to curtail our freedom.

Galileo's ghost is looking on with keen interest.

"Yes—and don't forget 'Shariah for the Netherlands'. Yet none of this, apparently, is 'hate speech'. The only "hate speech is Wilders' pointing it out."

It works like this:
Mohammed said that God wants us to kill the Jews, and that's o.k.
Moslems say that their prophet said they should kill the Jews, and that's o.k.
Geert Wilders says that Islam teaches that Moslems should kill the Jews and that Moslems want to follow that teaching, and THAT's "hate speech".
Hundreds of imams and muftis all across the Netherlands teach and preach that Moslems should kill the Jews, and tens of thousands of their followers noisily agree with them, and that's o.k.
But when Geert Wilders points out these teachings and their acceptance by the belivers, then THAT's "hate speech".
This is really the world turned upside down. All the REAL "hate speeches" and hate speakers are protected, and even rewarded, while the guy who says: "hey, that sounds like hate speech" is hauled into court and threatened with fines and imprisonment.

Fitna and this Foto reveal one thing in common: they both show muslims being muslims ...which leads me to one question: why is Geert the one on trial?

Backwards!

"The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."
John F. Kennedy

Why are the signs in English?

I just found that the photo of the protestors with the signs was originally used by Al Jazeera for their article on October 16, 2009 Protest at Dutch MP's London visit

Russia TV video clip and report (1 min:30sec):

Geert Wilders.

http://www.youtube.com/user/RussiaToday#p/u/5/hBlg2e5EAZk

I've just heard a report that Wilders has been indicted and will face a second charge for his racist attacks on the adherents of Mein Kampf. To win this case, Wilders will have to prove that ALL readers of Mein Kampf have committed violent acts.

It appears that prosecutors are also considering an additional charge of hate speech during a deposition given in the case related to The Book Who's Name Shall Not Be Spoken By Infidels. During questioning about his trip to American, Wilders had been asked to explain the American custom of self-censorship in the use of the "N-word". Wilders was quoted as responding with an explanation that included use of the ACTUAL "N-word" instead of him appropriately mentioning only the phrase "the 'N-word'. The attorney who asked him the question was rushed to the emergency room for medical care and treated for severe shock. The prosecutors are relying upon WIlders apology, given to the attorney at the time, to indicate his state of mind that he knew the use of the ACTUAL word would be highly offensive and that this proves he purposely failed to use societally correct self-censorship.

The Judge is considering whether Wilders will be allowed to speak in his own defense at the trials if the defense attorneys can't adequately assure the Court that Wilders will not use any terms that might be offensive to the Court. When the defense attorney asked for a list of "offensive" terms, the Judge threatened the attorneys with contempt fines, or jail, and instructed them to never again make the Judge even think about what terms might be offensive, as just the question was offensive.

There should be demos for Geert Wilders at Dutch Embassies everywhere.

(This is only the preliminary trial hearing; the full trial starts in a few months.)

After reading this article, I posted a comment on the Al- Jazeera sight comparing the safety and freedom these Islamists have to demonstrate as opposed to a non-Muslim
campaigning for human rights or for the abolition of sharia in a Muslim country.(The Muslim street would tear him limb from limb if the law didn't get him first)The slogans in the photo tells the whole reason why Wilders
has every right to defend the democratic values and principals of his country.I don't see a court convicting
Geert Wilders;well unless it's a SHARIA COURT.

So Sashland, Wilders may not be able to defend himself because phrases that could be used in his own defense are offensive? Someone wake me up.

Well, yes, Sounder,
in that world where it is to be considered illegal to speak the truth. Welcome to ... The Twilight Zone...

I'm still not understanding why no one has brought "hate speech" charges against those promoting sayings from The Book Who's Name Shall Not Be Spoken By Infidels. I suppose charges would be reserved for those who QUOTED those who promoted the hateful sayings. Kind of like charging the Boy with nudity for pointing out that the Emperor had no clothes, and then arresting him for pornography for taking a picture to prove it...

Concerning the signs held by the Mohammedans:

ISLAM SUCKS. STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRIES. GET IT?

Looking at those faces and signs seething with hate makes me doubly glad that I live in the United States and have legal access to firearms to defend myself and freedom.

"I'm still not understanding why no one has brought "hate speech" charges against those promoting sayings from The Book Who's Name Shall Not Be Spoken By Infidels.

But someone has brought such charges and the Muslim perpetrator was convicted for inciting racial hatred against the Jews.

It happened in Denmark in 2002/03:

"The fundamentalist, trans-national Hizb ut-Tahrir (Liberation Party) is led in Denmark by Palestinian refugee Fadi Ahmad Abdul Latif and by Emir Shamil Degirmenci. Hizb ut-Tahrir has been successful in recruiting juvenile delinquents, whom they have “converted” from crime to Islam. The group publishes books, magazines, pamphlets and videos, and runs a highly professional Danish website.

In April 2002, Hizb ut-Tahrir handed out fliers calling on Muslims to kill Jews “wherever you find them.” The group’s home page carried a similar appeal. Subsequently, Abdul Latif, was convicted of incitement and racist propaganda and given a 60 day suspended sentence. He appealed, claiming that his conviction was the result of a Jewish conspiracy aimed at stifling all criticism of Israel."

The good Muslim lost his appeal and was later convicted once more for spreading racist propaganda against Jews.

In 2006 Fadi Ahmad Abdul Latif was once more indicted this time for threaths against the Danish Prime Minister and members of the government and to have repeated the racial statements from the Qur´an for which he had already been convicted.

He was only convicted for the repeated racial hate speech against the Jews and in February sentensed to 60 days in prison in an appeal case at the higher court.

Looking at those faces and signs seething with hate makes me doubly glad that I live in the United States and have legal access to firearms to defend myself and freedom.

islame on trial, thanks to Geert. The judges will have to read both the koran and mein kampf (one would think)to come to a proper conclusion as to whether they are ideologically similar in their context. Now unless at least one of them is prolific in Arabic, the comparison would be null and void, as all muslims state that it must be read in Arabic to fully comprehend its meaning.
This case is beyond the sublime and has no merit in a Western court. It's the old adage "careful what you ask for",or bitch about, in this scenario.
The elite Dutch "government" is stabbing itself in its own feet, right through the symbolic wooden shoes of its own indigenous people and culture and enabling its own (and the West's) demise..sickening and perverse as mo himself.

The REAL hate crimes are just around the corner,as in immediately following his "guilty as charged" verdict.

btw,are the judges gay?. Hope so..

Being non-Muhammaden incites Muhams to riot, bombing, killing, hatred, offense, etc. There is nothing we can do except die, kiss ass, pay 'the tax', or become an idolatrous, hater Muhammaden moron like our accusers.

Al-Jazeera must have screwed up in using the picture posted above. I just checked the link http://english.aljazeera.net/news/europe/2010/01/201012094532873241.html and they have replaced the picture with one now showing a crowd with posters in Dutch.

I thought the "Muslim street" was confined to Muslim countries. Are European leaders going to allow MOB RULE to
determine freedom of thought and speech in their countries;
where as one can be critical of Christianity while Islam
is protected.

"This is really the world turned upside down. All the REAL "hate speeches" and hate speakers are protected, and even rewarded, while the guy who says: "hey, that sounds like hate speech" is hauled into court and threatened with fines and imprisonment. - ebonystone"

Correction, ebonystone, this is EXACTLY the real world and has been for centuries!! Ever read about child abuse cases being discovered? Whistelblowers finally blowing the whistle on corruption, misuse of funds, etc?

It is always the whistleblower or the abused child or the bullied schoolkid/employee etc that attracts the scorn and hatred that the perpetrator of said offence should attract. Invariably the committer of offences is promoted, protected or (quietly) transferred (never fired) to another, often higher-paid position in an organisation.

People -especially, for some reason, those in a position to actually do something - really hate dealing with the sheer power of evildoers - much easier to deal with the non-malevolent revealers of the evil.
Denial rules, and ever has.
Interestingly, however, many people find it easier to fight for another than they do for themselves. This is probably related to this whole Wilders/ Islam vs the West mess, but will take a long time to resolve.

My most fervent wishes for victory go to Wilders in this pathetic trial.

Does anybody other than me find it so ironic that people of color want Sharia Law which provides for legalized slavery?
Farakans followers and too much of Black America either support Sharia or see nothing wrong with it. This just makes my head hurt.

I agree with you both.

If anyone has read the Harry Potter books—or seen the films—this phenomenon is painfully delineated. In the fifth book, The Order of the Phoenix, the threat from the evil Voldemort and the Death-eaters has grown ever more deadly.

So what do the bureaucratic hacks and the petty martinets do? They turn on the brave messenger, Harry Potter, and do everything possible to discredit and disparage him and his supporters.

They don't take a stand *against evil*—instead, they turn with a vengeance on those *warning against evil*. For one thing, they are easier, more vulnerable targets; for another, they have no evil intent and present no danger in and of themselves.

The desperate idea is that if they can crush the messenger, then somehow the message—the warning—will be invalidated, and prove they have nothing to fear.

One does not, of course, have to turn to fiction to see this in action—there are all too many examples. Winston Churchill was treated in much the same manner in the days leading up to WWII, until the Nazi threat finally became manifest to even the most obtuse Briton.

Of course, Churchill, for all the indignities he suffered, was never dragged into court on spurious "hate crime" charges.

Call me crazy, but why aren't the folks with the hate signs being charged with hate speech crimes, eh? Yet again, TRUE hate speech goes unpunished (cos Islam is a protected 'class'), while truth gets trashed.

Case closed on Geert Wilders right, wrong!! With the trial of Geert Wilders for using his freedom of speech to tell the truth on Islam, and with this poster by Al-jaqueera and its abhorents, it is only a preamble of what is to come.

Remember freedom of speech for those against Islam is on trial, not radical islam itself.

"Blessed are the idiots for even they can be forgiven."

"Ignorance can be deadly, silence even deadlier." The truthsayer

Viva la Jews!!
Viva Israel!!
Viva la Netherlands!!
Viva Geert Wilders!!
Viva freedom, liberty, and the truth!!

Tremendous quote from JFK.

Thanks for sharing that with us, Jew Lover.
