We've listened to and read the words of CAIR officials, and heard the statements made by some of the "religion of peace's" so-called "holy men", the Imams.

We've witnessed the sheer stupidity of other Muslim groups like the Islamic Thinkers Society.
And recently, an article showed up on Jihad Watch featuring another one of these tough talkers, shown with his palm wrapped around his "sword of Islam".
While they prove the points of their opposition with their comments, their routine of making threats and other ridiculous remarks through the years is a stale and tired one.
They have shown that they possess the good will and integrity of an intestinal parasite, have brought nothing positive to offer to the nation, and have yet to show any interest in getting along with everyone else.
Regardless of all the Muslim victim role-playing and constant drumbeat of "don't associate Islam with terror," Islamic jihadists are the ones to thank for the additional security measures taken at our airports, public venues, sports stadiums, arenas, parades, and other events.
So enough of their bellyaching. Behavioral profiling is necessary to ensure safety from those who don't give a damn about human life because they believe they'll be rewarded in the next life for their viciousness in this one.
A reminder to every one of these Islamists with dreams of Shari'ah: this is the United States of America. The land of the free, the home of the brave, and a place where many who are not impressed with the hate speech that comes out of your mouths happen to live.
This is a nation of hard working, generous, and tolerant people. A nation of immigrants who have come here over a span of multiple decades in pursuit of a better life than they had elsewhere, not to change the scenery here to so it looks more like the homelands they left.
We drink whiskey, wine, and beer here. Lots of it. We go to work, play sports, watch sports, tend to our yards, go to school functions, go out to eat, go to the movies, belly up to the bar, and listen to all kinds of music. Some of us go to church, and some of us don't. We have different political views. We are diverse. We are Americans.
We do not believe that the women we share our lives with should be covered up from head to toe, or that they need to be chaperoned by a male relative whenever they leave the confines of the house, or that their value as human beings is half that of ours.
We take care of and protect our families. We don't knife them, shoot them, or run them over with our vehicles if they somehow cause us embarrassment.
The poll results below are not a result of anything but the outlook and behavior of those who follow the path of jihad, an ideology that is deadly to Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and can only be blamed on them, not the populations of their host nations in the West.

These numbers represent over 150,000,000 moslems in one country alone. A tiny minority of extremists, indeed.

Any Allah-hu akbar-ing knuckle-dragger who poses any type of threat anywhere around me is going to be 100% hurtin'... for certain.
Totally agreed with D.C. Watson's argument that all the threats and bluster from Islam is old and tired. Why should we continue to be socially Tolerant (see Hugh's excellent piece) of it? Enough, and the people know it's enough as their polls show. So show them the door out, and close it behind them. Close down their mosques if they protest our freedoms, and continue to threaten our safety and good will.
We must do what our Founding Fathers who created this great nation would have done: Declare Islam 'Unconstitutional' and its Sharia in violation of our First Amendment, then remove its threats from our shores.

The percentages are not high enough. We must keep up the ideological movement to reduce Islam to the dangerous fiction that it is. We want percentages as close to 100% as possible.
We need to target the Islamic source material. All the actions of terrorists can be justified by the demands placed on all Muslims by Allah/Muhammad in the Koran and Hadiths along with following their pedophilic, rapist, murdering, looting, slave owner/trader, suicide provoking, jealous, racist, idol worshipping dictator.

It's hard to believe that free speech is illegal in the U.K.! Are all emails monitored? By whom? I have relatives in Scotland and we correspond often, usually every week. They say what they think and they are LIVID about the muslim invasion of the U.K. To put it bluntly, they loathe the muslims, their despicable culture, and their obscene religion and they don't hesitate to communicate their sentiments. I sure hope they won't be hauled off by the PC Gestapo, tried and incarcerated for hate speech.
I realize that political correctness is much worse in the U.K. than it is here, which is hard to imagine. But I get the impression that it is often borne of fear over there whereas in America, many people suffer from unwarranted guilt and just want to be inclusive, tolerant, nice, and liked. Americans have not yet experienced the horrors of massive muslim immigration, especially the distinctive abomination evoked by Pakistani muslims. It didn't take long for the Somalis to earn the well deserved contempt of all who have had the misfortune of encountering them. They are utter savages that do not belong in a civilized country and are despised in the unfortunate communities polluted by their presence. Several small, historic, and previously idyllic communities have been devastated by the Somali barbarians. IT is truly sickening.
We don't have many muslims around here but thousands have settled in Atlanta. They are typical muslim immigrants---don't assimilate, live in segregated ghettos, come out in droves for protest marches two or three times a year, and milk the welfare system for all they can get. They will cause major trouble at some point. People in the U.K. have witnessed or experienced the essence of islam and muslims---violence, riots, terrorism, supremacism, refusal to assimilate, arrogant hostility, incessant demands for special privileges, voluntary segregation from mainstream society, sedition, proliferous and incestual breeding, the construction of behemoth, incongruous mosques, etc. etc.
Why aren't the indigenous people of the U.K. in a state of enraged rebellion against the government that is deliberately destroying their country?

(DP 111 spoke more optimistically than many of us - the state of affairs in the MSM and academe is dismal - but the figures in the poll, in the posted article, show that the Bad News about Islam *is* spreading, slowly but steadily, among ordinary citizens in the USA - and elsewhere, if the minaret referendum results in Switzerland are anything to go by).

Agreed. And this is on a worldwide scale. There are matters to be considered and decided on municipal or national level but considering the right and just attitude versus Muslims should be on global level.
As loyalty of Muslims also is on global level. As our own loyalty to our brethren that are Christian, Atheist, Hindu, Buddhist etc in Islamic countries should also be global.
So, we should say to Muslims living in Democratic countries;
1. We by default now view you as one with the other Muslims in the world, including those that have majority and power. As we more and more view as one all democratically minded people. Please inform us clearly where you in majority stand on this issue.
2. Please choose; remaining utterly neutral can be allowed by us, but if you side with those in the world that desire theocracies instead of democracies and those who oppress our brothers/ sisters in conviction you should know we consider you our enemy, a 5th column. And we will consider similar intolerant, irrespectful measures against you as your co-religionists practice against ours. At the very least we will keep up tolerance and respect but also unite against you more and more.
3. What we desperately need of Muslims in Western countries is convincing proven positions of their majority in favor of full democracy and equal rights of non-Muslim in Muslim countries.

It is the style of trouble makers to take one sentence out of tens of thousands and pound and expound on it, like most of the commentators have done on this page. If one takes of the spectacles of prejudice and then sees, none of the Godly religions, Judaism, Christianity nor Islam recommends violence. Ganges Khan, Hitler, Alexander and other killers of innocent people were NEITHER Jews, Christians nor Muslims. OFF COURSE there is no hypocricy of "TURN THE OTHER CHEEK" [it is not present in actual Christianity either] nor is "tooth for tooth" a compulsory thing. If one has the nerve to forgive in actual sense then, that is the best.
Go into the history of Al Qaidah, Taaliban, Wahabyism etc, WHO CREATED THESE TROUBLE MAKERS and see what was manipulated and by who! See for yourself how they differ from real Islam! Only then you will understand their activity. BUT DO NOT BASH ISLAM AND MUSLIMS. Those who created these off shoots will pay for it, we say, "LET ONE EVIL FIGHT THE OTHER!"

Please tell all of the readers of this site how they differ. They take the violent suras in the Koran at face value.
If you want to focus your passion and apparent anger at someone, instead of lashing out at the writers and readers here and on many other sites, ask yourself, "are they making all of this up, or is this really happening inside my own faith?"

As far as your statement that the average American doesn't care, maybe you can look at the poll numbers again. Or are they just bias on the part of the reporting agencies?
Instead of calling people troublemakers, what's holding you back from addressing the body of this and other articles that bring up documented facts with a legitimate argument?
If you take the verses of Quran out of context, you can make your case. But if you see the whole Quran as a message and a book, then you know the truth.
9:29 deals with people who were not letting the Muslims migrate from their own cities and live in peace as refugees even.
9:5 deals with people who made a treaty with Muslims, that they will not kill the associates of Muslims, and like colonists and genociding nations did not respect the treaty and killed almost half of the tribe who were parteners of Muslims.
8:12 After the migration of Muslims from Makkah to Madeena, armies of Watson type warriors, would not let the Muslims live in peace. They came to attack Madeena. Muslims were 313, one horse rider, half of them did not have even swords, arrows was the main ammo that they had. It was purely God's mercy that watson's armies got defeated.
4:34 It relates to man and woman relation, and when women have extra marital relationship. Men are supposed to protect women, even today in the so called advanced nations, so many women get abused every day, does the father protect the daughter, give me examples. Does the brother protect the sister, does the son protect the mother that carried him in her tummy for 9 months, and fed him her own blood and food. Tell me who protects the woman today in the advanced societies, let alone the under developed ones. The woman is abused in the house, street,school, office,and everywhere.

Your use of the hoary old 'verses out of context' nonsense probably highlights more about your ignorance of what this website is about than your knowledge of Islam. It is the Jihadists who are using these verses in the way described to justify their intolerant and violent behaviour and it is disingenuous of you to talk about the posters here 'showing their prejudice' for reporting or commenting on those FACTS.
The Jihadists are not a tiny minority of extremists as is popularly cited by people who do not know what they're talking about, they are ultimately the people we have seen bludgeon their way through history, with invasion, violence and forced conversions in all of the lands that they now occupy and rule. And yes, it is the most pious amongst them that always seek rule (and eventually find it). There is no point in concerning yourself with supposed 'moderates' who would be declared apostate for talking the way you have (assuming you couldn't prove your taqiyya) for when the turning point arrives, you would have no more voice than they would! One of the many current voices of Islam, in America for example, CAIR, has been shown to be playing the same double game that you are; soothing platitudes and victim-hood but slowly their true agenda is becoming revealed more and more (especially by the forces of true law and order.)
I see that Canada ranks on the above list as the least concerned about Islamic Extremism in their country. That doesn't surprise me. Americans must wake up to who shares their northern border.
