Now 20 percent of former Gitmo inmates have returned to jihad, up from 14 percent last year. The only surprise is that the number isn't higher, since nothing is or was done at Gitmo to weaken the inmates' attachment to the jihad and Islamic supremacism -- in fact, their attachment to Islam was reinforced by the exaggerated respect non-Muslim guards had to give to the Qur'an, and by the unobstructed Islamic worship made available to the detainees there. Was jihad and hatred of America preached right at Gitmo? What would have prevented that?

With the Koran and all other Islamic "necessities" lavishly furnished to Gitmo inmates, it would be somewhat peculiar if they did NOT return to Jihad once released.
I'm not sure how they get their figures but they do seem low to me. Assuming that they are correct, I would like to know what role the other 80% are playing. I can assure you that most of them are involved in one way or another in supporting JIhad or other Sharia related activities.
With the exception of the guys who went to Saudi Arabia for art therapy of course. THey are, obviously, no longer a threat to anyone!

BBC Radio 4 has a programme tomorrow morning asking why that nice Mr Obama has not kept his promise to close Gitmo in a year. Knowing them I would guess the line will be, "Look the detainees are all really nice fellows and we should prove it by letting them come to the UK"
So 20% of released Gitmo detainees have returned to terrorism, which obviously means that returning to terrorism is still on the 'to do' list of the other 80%, for the benefit of those who think the policy of catch and release will make them grateful for being released. Thanks a million PC brigade.
If they left Gitmo as Muhammadens then of course they are terrorists. 100% of those that left Gitmo and are still Muhammadens are terrorists. All Muhammadens are terrorists.
