Among those cities, of course, is Minneapolis. And despite all this, there is still no sign whatsoever that immigration officials are even interested in the jihadist sentiments of the people they are bringing in to the U.S., or that they are making any attempt (an attempt which would be imperfect at best in any case) to screen for them (which is not the same thing as screening for "Al-Qaeda connections," which screening is supposedly going on).

Why this particular group? They aren't getting along with others in the camp! But, don't worry they are being screened for Al-Qaeda connections.
The story from New Vision a Uganda web publication is entitled, "USA takes in 6000 Somali from Uganda" is as follows:
THE American government is to resettle 5,800 refugees from Nakivale refugee camp in Isingiro district to the United States, Prosy Katura, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) protection officer, has revealed.Katura said a team has already been sent to Nakivale to scrutinise the refugees to ensure they have no links with al-Qaeda, an extremist group. The American taskforce at the camp will also study files of individual refugees since they arrived in Uganda.
During a meeting with the Germany ambassador to Uganda, Reinhard Buchholz, who visited the camp on Friday, Katura said the exercise under the "expedited Somali resettlement programme" should be completed by September. "We have so far scrutinised about 2,000 Somalis out of 5,800 who are living in Nakivale."
Explaining the reason of resettling Somalis to the US, Katura said Somali refugees have failed to integrate with other refugee groups living in Nakivale and with the local communities because of their unique language and culture. [This is insane, they can't get along with other African people but they are going to jump into the mythical American melting pot and come out as just good old regular Americans!]...

Of course the Somalis can't get along with fellow Africans, simply because they're Mohammedans. In Ugandan camps there are a lot of refugees from Southern Sudan. They fled from Mahoundian oppression. Mohammedans never get alog with anybody who has got another culture regardless whether they're fellow Africans or something different.
At least in Britain we have parties like UKIP (or if one is feeling really mad there is the (odious!) BNP) that we can use tactically to register our displeasure at the main parties' dhimmitude. Whom have you got?
You guys in the US should form a centre right political party that is not afraid to carry the fight to islam and its supporters in the media. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to stop this madness. Where is the opposition, where is the outcry, who is listening? It will be story on Fox (if you're lucky) for a day, then everyone will forget about it.

Why the U.S? Why do we always have to take in the thousands of refugees? One would think it more desireable to re-settle them in countries with a "culture" closer to their own, such as any one of the Moslem countries. How many is Saudi Arabia taking? I'm sure the Saudis would appreciate a few thousand more girls for their harems, and thousands of boys to serve as harem attendants and guards. Of course the boys would have to be neutered, but chalk that up to the Somali effort against over-population.
Elsewhere, I imagine that Mauritania could use thousands more slaves.
Or maybe the U.S. should just offer to match the largest number taken in by any single Moslem state. If no Moslem state takes any, then we don't take any either.
Elections have consquences, start from the bottom on up and elect only those who value your constitution.

Also, in my last post, I quoted the reporter as saying that the Somalis began arriving in Minneapolis in the late 70’s. Well, maybe there were a handful, but the largest numbers have arrived here AFTER 9/11!

I do not see that voting for either of the party's you mention has had any influence on the number of Somalis settling here. The official figure of Somalis settled in the UK is 100,000 however unofficially the real number is reckoned at quarter of a million, 80 per cent of whom have arrived in the last 10/15 years. They are all of course fleeing terror and oppression in their homeland however they do not seem to have any difficulty returning there on holiday or when are on the run for murdering policewoman.
As to their contribution to British society, it is reckoned that they top the league for the genital mutilation of young girls. The authorities have of course instructed the medical profession to deal FGM "sympathetically".

PRCS's link to Resettlement Watch puts the number of Somalis admitted to the US at about 100,000 in about 15 years. Compared to 250,000 in a small country like Britain they are only starting.

I just don't understand it. How could ANY sensible person do what our government is doing? At a time when we would be justified to HALT ALL IMMIGRATION...we INVITE 6,000 muslims who have, "failed to integrate with other refugee groups because of their unique language and culture." (That's code for "Incorrigible") The LAST thing we need!

There are so many Christian Sudanese in Uganda who would not mind resettlement in the West, and have been in Uganda for years. Last year al Shabaab made a St. Valentines Day video, a beheading of an aid worker. I think the guy was a fellow Somali who converted to Christianity. It happened in Kenya, I wonder if that could happen in the US.
Our government wants these parasitic savages to come here and wreak havoc on our culture and disrupt life in the communities where they are "relocated". When the locals complain, they are labled racists, xenophobes, islamophobes, and the local politicians take great pains to publicize their pagan rituals and holidays and guarantee they enjoy their "civil rights". You're now "un-American" if you object to multiculturalism. These people may have different customs and cultural mores, but they must be tolerated and respected. All cultures are equal, even those that practice ritual human sacrifice, terrorism, slavery, and misogyny. We are supposed to eagerly welcome the financial burden of supporting these worthless, primitive animals and their filthy culture when we are suffering the effects of the worst recession in history. The more civil unrest and racial/ethnic/religious tension the government can deliberately create, the more legislation they can enact to limit our freedoms and control our lives. Oh, yes. Since I now live in the American Midwest -of which some territories could be considered to be the last bastions of the principles upon which our country was founded - I was mortified to see the liberal-based "welcoming" committee for these North African barbarians. Moreover, I was left speechless to find that some Native Americans (American Indians) somehow identify with these losers, as being part of an minority class, and oppressed by Anglos. This caste-system may be true, but it is dangerously confusing to an observer who might see the bigotry towards both of these groups as being based soley on race and cultural differences.
Trust me, I have no issues with Native Americans and consider much of their separatist attitude justified for the most part, but to think that they consider these mozoids to be their "brothers" in the battle against Anglo dominance, leaves me with a purely incredulous facial expression.
