Hamas-linked CAIR whines about Bible quotes on gun sights

As I wrote here, "The whole controversy over these Bible verses is a contrived exercise in moral equivalence, designed once again to distract attention away from the manifest reality that there is a worldwide religious group that is waging war against unbelievers in the name of religion. And the religion in question is not Christianity."

And as if on cue, here comes the Hamas-linked unindicted co-conspirator CAIR, a group that never saw an anti-terror measure that it liked, to try to deflect attention from the Islamic jihad and focus it on some nonexistent Christian Crusade in the U.S. military.

"Muslims Angry Over U.S. Military 'Jesus' Rifles," from FoxNews, January 21 (thanks to Michael):

Combat rifle sights used by U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan carry secret references to Bible verses.

Muslim groups reacted angrily Wednesday after it emerged that the U.S. military is using combat rifle sights inscribed with coded Biblical references.

Army officials have said they will investigate whether a Michigan defense contractor violated federal procurement rules by stamping references to Bible verses on the gun sights used by American forces to kill enemy fighters in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations on Wednesday said the continued use of the sights with the religious references would send a negative message to the Muslim world.

"The use of military equipment with hidden Bible references sends the false message to Muslims worldwide that we are at war with Islam," said CAIR Legal Counsel Nadhira Al-Khalili. "In addition, these sights are a potential recruiting tool for anti-American forces, endanger our troops and alienate our Muslim allies. They should we withdrawn as soon as logistically possible."...

But alah akbar carved into ak-47 stocks is ok.
Hey cair talk to the hand.

Any and all means to distract attention from the barbaric and murderous ideology of Islam. Still I find foolish people defending Islam by believing that Islamic Jihadist are interpreting the Koran wrong.

These people are incredibly arrogant, presuming to link Bible references as an act of aggression. It is only their contorted, perverted world view that causes them to see every little thing as a threat. We should completely ignore their ravings. They are like children, crying for momma to punish a playmate that looks at them the wrong way.

And as for it being a recruiting tool, believe me, if we kuffar all sat down and died, then they would PERHAPS! have no more excuses to justify their aggression towards kuffar. Our mere existence is seen as hostility toward islam.

I suggest a change to the "secret Bible verse". How about Deus vult (Latin, God wills it) was the cry of the people at the declaration of the First Crusade by Pope Urban II at the Council of Clermont in 1095. Have that stamped on every 5.56mm round in the US inventory.

Our reply to CAIR is Allah wills it.

Perhaps CAIR would like Allahu Akbar stamped on them instead.

CAIR?? As usual the organisation that makes an observer think all moslems everywhere are stupid....

Were is the verse in the Bible that mentions war with moslems?? I presume that must be the verse on the guns to would give someone the impression that we are at war with Islam?

Otherwise the argument does not make any sense.

I wonder if the verse is even anything to do with war in the current context of war at all?

Maybe, if they put one of the many verses from the Koran that encourages by direct reference the killing of Pagans, Christians, and Jews then we could presume that Islam is at war with us?

That could be logical...

Why not replace the bible quote with the koran quote that encourages death to remind users of the gun how islam perceives them and to help remind any moslem soldier that they should be killing their fellow soldiers to please Allah.

maybe someone could engrave a couple to show cair to see if they take bait? that would be funny...

and l thought that muslims revered Jesus? so much to do about nothing. funny the MSM can reveal this yet they are so blind about how muslims use their koran to kill non-Muslims and those muslims not pious enough.

... designed once again to distract attention away from the manifest reality that there is a worldwide religious group that is waging war against unbelievers in the name of religion.

Let's do a comparo here:

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
-- 2 Corinthians 4:6

Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.
-- Koran 9:5

Hmmm, it seems we have a disparity here: Moslems can openly worship a God who calls for killing for the capital crime of infidelity to Allah, but soldiers trying to stop them cannot have engraved on their guns, pointed in self defense, a passage praising the light of knowledge.

*** 47:4 ***

No mention of murder in that Christian passage. But, just for fun and understanding, here's another bleat from Allah:

When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause, smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them.

So naturally we must flinch from the belief in light and knowledge, and submit to the belief in killing, which brings darkness to the killed.

*** 33:21 ***

And just which side starts all these fights, anyway?

So JN8:12 and 2COR4:6 at the end of a number stamped on the sight hurts the sensibilities of the enemy?

Tough.

I'm an Atheist and I use Trijicon, they have a great product and they are an American company.

From article...continued use of the sights with the religious references would send a negative message to the Muslim world.

I certainly hope so...The more negative messages the better...
When I discover something positive about Islam, I will send them a positive message...Until then I have nothing but negativity to send to them...CAIR and the Islamic multitudes discovered the best way to lie...perfected by the Prophet, and used to this day...That is, 'to tell the truth...except for the most important parts'...Refined taqiyya...But they can't hide the Quran, they cannot hide ahadith, and they can't hide Mahound's shady life...All they can do is try and convince kufr to believe in the unbelievable...And if that fails, it's war/jihad...So far I can't find anything positive about that to say, but it would be easy to conjure up an F...you...and a middle finger salute...Let the negative image of the kufr middle finger salute prevail...CAIR is especially deserving...

First, USA: Tell the manufacturer to stop with Bible verses or get a new manufacturer. It does send the wrong message to not only the Muslim world but everyone, and is an insult to Christianity.

Second, CAIR: Still waiting for that extensive program aimed at countering Sharia and the jihadist ideology.

Third, FBI/CIA when are you guys going to do a real investigation of CAIR? Is it that you know what you are going to find, and don't have the stomach to handle the political fall out that will ensue.

Fourth, Everyone: get a copy of Muslim Mafia by Gaubatz and Sperry. It is a great book. Then give it to your local library or a strategic friend/associate. While CAIR is certainly not the only game in town, the sooner they are exposed the better.

Fifth, um OK no fifth.

I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.

Honest Ibe Hooper (aka "the Hoop") in a rare burst of honesty in a 1993 interview with a Mpls Star-Tribune reporter. He's been more circumspect in his statements since (i.e., he's been trickier and more evasive).

*** 92:8 ***

Hoop's statement means he's against the Constitution, which in turn means he's a traitor, which in turn means he is be accorded every opportunity to have his hairy toes publicly sucked by interviewers in our news entertainment media.

First, USA: Tell the manufacturer to stop with Bible verses or get a new manufacturer. It does send the wrong message to not only the Muslim world but everyone, and is an insult to Christianity.

The bible verses are on the scopes not the actual firearm. Weapons were used in biblical times, David and Goliath..I'm sure David would have said somthing out loud before the rock left his sling.. Possibly like god help me or even maybe..RUN. I seriously dont see the problem as a christian, If it builds morale for the troops awesome, This is only one of many psycological tactics employed by troops, If the tactic works great, we are at war right ? Against Terrorist. I'm sure the Bible verses will only scare the terrorist a little bit, Dipping bullets in pigs blood would scare them a lot more..

"Muslims Angry Over" ....

Muslims are angry? ...again!

Champ...Muslims are angry? ...again!

Does it ever end? You would think they all would have ulcers with all that daily rage...But I read somewhere that pure fury is regarded as a blessing from Allah...All it ever did for me was to give me a headache and a sick stomach...Once I grew up I avoided it like the plague...I guess many Mahoundians are not completely grown up, and are subject to tantrums and public orgasms...I drew the line at tantrums, but then I'm not a Mahoundian...they don't draw any lines...

Hey, CAIR -- CROSShairs!

Knowing Christians and their motivations I believe the versus where put there to encourage Christian soldiers to draw close to God. They believe the real enemy is in the spirit realm and not flesh and blood, the Devil and his host of demons.
I am sure they are also put there for non-Christians to think about God but not to encourage them to fight a Holy war- bogus. Muslims make up a tiny fraction of those who serve so if they don't like it then so sad too bad!! They will get over it!

It is hypocritical that the same whiners use their religion in every aspect in their war against us. In their case it is used to support a holy war or Jihad, unlike the hidden versus on the guns.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations on Wednesday said the continued use of the sights with the religious references would send a negative message to the Muslim world.

The sights merely direct the message.

President Bush was very clear in stating to Americans and the Muslim world that this was not a war against Islam, not a crusade, and not related to religion in any way. This use of Biblical verses contradicts that statement and makes Americans, and President Bush, appear as liars. It should be forbidden.

It is a shame the Muslims won this one.

Okay, so, I guess the pussies at the pentagon are now going to allow the mooslimes to dictate our weaponry.

MOOSLIMES: "Wait.....hold on.....no more 20 or 30 rd mags for you guys. That offends our sensitivities! And, oh yea, nothing larger than a .22 long rifle cartridge. And hey.......they have to be single shot weapons. And oh...the barrel length can't be any greater than 2.5 inches. And by the way, those helmets offend our sensitivities as well. So many of our people are offended by Kevlar so......no more of those allowed. And hey........we really don't like the idea of yer guys wearing boots....we are offended if we happen to see the soles of those boots. And, oh yea........no more body armor either, it offends our women. And, come to think of it, we don't like those uniforms either.....they offend us because they appear too aggressive so, no more uniforms in our country."

PENTAGON: "Okay.....what can we have? What will you approve for us?"

MOOSLIMES: "Uh...........you can have a stick, but no longer than 36 inches. No wait......that will offend us as well because that would mimmick what we use to beat our women, children and camels with! Well..........maybe not our camels. They're special ya know!"

PENTAGON: "Oh.......okay."

I just heard on the news on tv that British soldiers are also carrying guns with Bible texts inscribed on them - now banned!!!
