She was also an Islamic Theology graduate. Obviously, her interpretation of Islam differed from the government's interpretation.

Ms. Soltan had studied at Islamic Azad University, majoring in philosophy and religion. Not Islam!! It could very well have been indirect contact through "religion" courses that lead her to Christ, or that she sought those courses to have access to study the Christian material as a student.

Was that picture doctored or is that real? I'm not dismissing that outright but I haven't seen that picture on any mainstream news sources. Does it really matter if she was a convert or not? If she had still been a muslim, do you think she would have been an Ahmadinejad supporter given the fact that her family has hailed her as a hero for her protests? Iran is a 99% muslim country. The protesters are not all from a less than 1% christian minority.
My heart goes out to Neda's family. Their daughter dies in their arms, and their grief is played out for the world to see. Then the state makes a mockery of their loss and defames them. They can't go to the press to say that the government is lying and produce the body - the state-controlled media won't carry it, and the Basij militias would threaten to kill them.
It piles tragedy upon tragedy.

As poster Lorgan has pointed out, Neda Soltan was very likely a Christian.
But certainly, Neda might have been Muslim. When I first saw her terrible, needless death, I assumed she probably was Muslim, just statistically. What is your point?
The main victims of Islam throughout history have always been other Muslims—especially any Muslim who might embrace freedom or decency in any form.
Right now, the people of Iran are suffering under the Mullahs, under Shari'ah, under *Islam*. Whatever religion Neda embraced, that doesn't change this.
The whole Neda story is very sad indeed.

I don't doubt she was killed, but my issue is with the way the video starts as she uses her left hand to feel the road and ease her onto the ground.
The story was about a bullit to the heart and yet she never twitched once to gag on the blood, and when the man put his right hand beside her face it is THEN we see blood pour from the mouth and nose.
