Islamic jihadist teaches at London School of Economics

Hizb ut-Tahrir espouses the replacement of republican governments in the West with Sharia states, and the establishment of a global caliphate. "LSE's Hizb ut-Tahrir teacher Reza Pankhurst and the secretive 'Brothers' Circle,'" from The Times, January 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):

An Islamist radical whose teaching role at a leading university was exposed yesterday by The Times led a secretive "Brothers' Circle" at which he espoused his hardline views.

Reza Pankhurst, a senior figure in the hardline group Hizb ut-Tahrir, gathered a group of male members of the London School of Economics (LSE) Islamic Society for private talks.

Mr Pankhurst, whose party advocates the creation of an Islamic state governed by Sharia, is a research student employed as a teacher in the LSE's government department.

He is due to teach undergraduate classes this term in three topics covering nationalism and revolution in the Arab world.

Mr Pankhurst retained his position in the Islamic Society and the college despite a number of students raising concerns last year about the overt political content of his sermons at Friday prayers.

The Students' Union confirmed that it had reported those concerns to the Islamic Society and raised them "informally" with academics.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is banned in Germany for anti-Semitism and covered by the National Union of Students' policy of "no platform" for racist and fascist views....

Ah, yes. The delightful oik from a 2004 report on the BBC website:
Three Britons are jailed in Egypt

Ian Nisbet (who now goes by the name Yehiya Nisbet) and Reza Pankhurst, from London, and Maajid Nawaz, from Essex, were accused of trying to revive Hizb al-Tahrir (Islamic Liberation Party).

Hey BBC, why use this scumbag's Anglicised name? He converted. Use the name he was charged under.

Pankhurst's wife Hodan added: "It is in trial terms, the worst nightmare but morally we are all triumphant and our spirit cannot be broken.

"My husband is innocent and all he has been sentenced with in effect is being a Muslim who carries peaceful Islamic political thought. To be sentenced to five years in prison, not be able to legally do anything about it (after having been tortured) is nothing short of scandalous!

Classic stuff from the moslem taqqiyah handbook.

"We were tortured!" Yeah, sure....cry wolf often enough and see where it leads.

So anyway, he looks like he belongs. The islamic society of the LSE deserve him.

It is like a Monty Python sketch to picture a bunch of bearded academics sitting there with their serious countenances rubbing their chins pondering the suggestions that their civilization, form of government and freedoms be wiped off the face of the earth. And then in the question and answer session no questions about how that should never happen but merely queries about this or that particular aspect of where they are heading. "So even though it will be an Islamic state, we won't have to become a Muslim, right"? "How much would the jizya tax be?" "Will we still be able to have museums with art in them?"

And:

"but apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths, public order and gender equality ... what has the West done for us?

Well, how about all that free money in the form of aid we keep sending?

Hey Saudi? Helping out in Haiti? Thought not.

Question_Everything! Said: "Hey Saudi? Helping out in Haiti? Thought not."

Na, that's the 'Big Satan's job.

This doesn't come as a surprise. In his book "Qui a tué Daniel Pearle ?" from 2003 the French philosopher and journalist Bernard-Henri Lévy describes how the ringleader of Daniel Pearle's abduction who was a student at the London School of Economics was recruited for jihad via a "Bosnia information week" back in the 1990ies during the civil war in ex-Yugoslavia. BTW this guy was considered to be an integrated British citizen. Surprise, surprise.

First we had Obamanomics. Now, Islomonomics. Is there a connection?

Yes, rico; birds of a feather flock together.

Yes, epistemology. Come 31 January it will be eight years since Pearl was killed. And a little research on that LSE old-boy, Omar Sheikh, wryly called by BHL "a perfect Englishman" will chill your spine. And not just the imputed connections with both MI6 and the ISI. Check his apparent attempt to bring India and Pakistan to war immediately following Mumbai.

But returning to Levy's book, we are reminded of the heavy Yemeni involvement in Pearl's murder:

"The Yemeni with the camera is shouting too. Half way through, his hands and arms covered in blood, the Yemeni killer looks at him and stops. The camera was jammed. Because of the camera they have to stop and begin all over again." (p.34)

LSE: my old school.

I dropped out. I never understood Fabianism anyway. Seems they replaced it with Mohammedanism now.

Why am I not surprised?

Hizb's been at LSE for years. There's a lot more of them there...

Ed Hussein in his sickening and proselyting 'The Islamist' mentioned as much...

Glad they're talking about it now though.

In the UK Hizb ut-Tahrir can set their stall up on the sidewalk and hold public meetings without hindrance from the authorities because their embedded 'advisors on Islamic affairs' have cajoled them into fearing that any prohibition would endanger an illusory community solidarity and precipitate rooling eyed homicidal extremism.
And when in return for the shower of accommodations Muslims in Britain report themselves as the most 'patriotic' in Europe, their credulous and reckless are so blinded by self congratulation that they don't care to realize that is a patriotism towards a neo Britain of their’s and the Islamist sympathizers'making.

This school should hire Muslim teachers also. Might I suggest Fartour Mouse, Bee-Man(narhool?) and Bugs the Jew eater. They were fired from Hamas TV and are probably available. Try to get Saraa too, I bet she's gonna show some cool super power and fly around.
