After Malaysian Muslims firebombed several churches, Christians seemed to retaliate with a non-violent but pungently symbolic gesture, leaving pigs' heads at two mosques. But now a Muslim leader has suggested that Muslims were also behind this -- in a naked attempt to incite the local believers to a murderous rage against non-Muslims.
This recalls also how CAIR manufactures "hate crimes" in order to claim victim status in the U.S. PC establishment. In both cases, there is an attempt to portray Muslims as aggrieved victims whose grievances must be redressed.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police said severed pigs' heads were found at two mosques on Wednesday, in the latest of a spate of attacks on places of worship that have escalated ethnic tensions.The dumping of the heads of three pigs -- considered unclean by Muslims -- comes amid a row over the use of the word "Allah" by non-Muslims that has seen violence against 11 churches, a mosque and two Muslim prayer halls.
Police and religious leaders called for calm and said that saboteurs may be attempting to stir up ethnic conflict in Malaysia, a predominantly Muslim Malay nation which has large ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities.
"By looking at the modus operandi of the (pigs' head) incidents... I think it is the same group that is involved in the previous attacks," national police chief Musa Hassan told reporters.
"I think they are throwing money (to those carrying out the attacks) to cause such incidents," he said, warning those responsible not to "play with fire" and undermine national security.
The places of worship have been pelted with Molotov cocktails, stones and paint in tensions triggered by a December 31 court ruling that overturned a ban on non-Muslims using the word "Allah" as a translation for "God"....
Zulkifli Mohamad, the imam who leads prayers at the Al Imam al Tirmizi mosque where two heads were found, called for calm and said Muslim saboteurs could be behind the latest incidents.
"This is the work of some people to stir racial tension in the country. We are shocked by their actions," he told reporters.
"I want the police to act fast, we ask Muslims to be patient, there is a possibility Muslims could be behind this incident." Local parliamentarian Nurul Izzah Anwar, the 29-year-old daughter of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, also said she suspected the pigs' head incident was orchestrated by troublemakers.
"We are outraged by these attacks, it could be the act of saboteurs to destroy peace and racial harmony," she said at the scene. "This area is a predominantly mixed area. On the ground, race relations are fine." -Reuters
Interesting. When I read about this on another site my gut told me that it wasn't Christians but mulsims looking to expand the violence against the infidel.
War is deceit and this is another teaching moment. Muslims will break any and all of their supposed sacred rules, will even defile their holy places if it furthers the goal of islamic domination. This is what passes for piety in the islamic world view.

Translation (at best):
"These incidents are due to the same grotesquely ghoulish, Satanically voracious monster which I spend all my waking hours serving and promoting."
Once we illuminate the underlying incoherence and contradiction here, what are we left with? Only one of two explanations makes sense:
1) Imam Zulkifli is lying about the difference between the bad Muslims and the good Muslims (the latter among whom he counts himself)
2) Imam Zulkifli is strangely insane.
There is no third explanation.
Either way, he is not only useless, but positively a hindrance to, our #1 concern: our own protection against Islam and against the Muslims who enable it.

I am not really surprised by this. This is a classical example of Muslims carrying out a "false flag operation" as it is known in Western intelligence/anti-terrorism agencies.
False flag operations are covert operations which are designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations, and have been used in peace-time; for example, during Italy's strategy of tension.
In a geopolitical context such operations were mostly carried out during the Cold War by official intelligence agencies from both sides. Conversely they have also been carried out by terrorist organisations from both the left and the right, to demonise the establishment.
Even more important is the fact that sometimes goverments are alleged to have carried out false flag operations against their own citizens for the same purpose. To whitewash themselves, some Muslims for instance have claimed that 9/11 was a false flag operation by the federal goverment of the USA, with the intent of mobilising as many people to go to war in Iraq.
A clear example of how Muslims are trying to make "mud stick". Also makes me think about demonising Jews. Anti-Zionism by Muslims in itself is an eternal false flag operation.
The strategy of tension is still ongoing. In this day and age I would make the following comparison:

Yup, looks like a clear case of taqqiya and how could it be otherwise? since this man has read the Koran and knows that he is ordered to deceive the infidels into thinking that not all Muslims want to rape and kill infidels.
In any case, even on the off-chance that he is insane or even "sincere", it is impossible to tell a taqqiya muslim from a crazy moderate.

What gave it away was the fact the heads were tightly wrapped in plastic bags. It was obvious that whoever handled the pigs were afraid of contact and sensitive to the Mosque's supposedly sacred ground.
In Europe, during previous ages, Christians who had murdered children were known on more than one occassion to toss the victim's body behind the walls of the Jewish ghetto, where Jews could be easily blaimed for the crime. The commonly-held myth that Jews used Christian blood to bake the matsah was used to divert attention from the true criminals and it often brought disaster and massacres against the Jewish communities. Such incidents happened as late as the early 1900s and were used by the Nazis to fan the flames of hatred against Jews. A belief in this superstition is even found today among some ignorant people, especially in Eastern Europe.
It is interesting to note that accusations of ritual murder have also been leveled against Mithaists, Christians (because of the Eucharist), Quakers, etc.
The canard of Jewish ritual murder is even today used for cynical political purposes among certain Islamic and Arab political circles and is well documented.
I have to say here that it is wrong for writers to attack the imam, who points out that it might be Muslims who are responsible for the vandalism. The imama is calling for calm and asks the authorities to do their jobs and to now be carried away by emotion.
It is shameful that some of the readers here use this act of good faith on the imam's part to attack him as "insane" or practicing deception. The man is stepping forward and doing the ethically right thing.

You need to be a little more careful with your moral equivalencies. In your historical example, religious persecution and violence is not the goal, avoidance of punishment is. In the current story above, religious persecution and violence is the goal.
I will agree with you that this imam seems to be doing the right thing. Given so I would then also argue that his actions are in despite of islam, not because of it.

The problem is that even if that were true, it perpetuates the myth of the "moderate" muslim and "moderate" Islam, thus prolonging the current stealth jihad and delaying infidels' awakening to the true nature of evil Islam and its vectors.
So-called "moderate" Muslims aka purple unicorns are a dangerous liability.
