Pakistan: Abuse, death of 12-year-old girl highlights plight of Christian domestic workers

This is the ugliest thing about this religion and its people - what they do to children.

Not the only source of horror for kids, by any means - but certainly one of the most frequent, and virulent.

I hate these sorts of stories :(

Imagine how desperate a Christian family would have to be, to allow their 12 year-old daughter to accept employment from such a dirtbag. I wonder what happened to his last 12 year-old female servant.

And now he's offered them a generous sum of blood money--Why, it's almost enough to cover the cost of this little girl's funeral! What a nice man! He's every bit as "beneficent" and merciful as "Allah and his Apostle".

Somehow 'compensation' doesn't seem to be the right word to use here.

My daughters are all older than that, but if someone had tortured, raped and murdered one of them at that age, and I knew who it was, then I would out be looking for something other than money...

A lawyer who is accused of torturing, raping and killing a thirteen year old Christian domestic help was arrested in Lahore, capital of the largest province of Pakistan Sunday afternoon.

Naeem Chaudhry, member of Lahore Bar Association and his wife are accused of killing a young girl Shazia Masih who was working for the couple as a maid.

Lahore Police told us that Naeem Chaudhry was in custody but not formally charged of any crime as of yet. Local media had earlier reported that he had escaped to Libya.

Shazia Masih died in Lahore’s elite Defense Colony last night and local police has registered First Incident Report (FIR) against Naeem Chaudry, his wife, sister-in law, son and an unknown man.

Parents of Shazia filled the FIR alleging that their daughter was raped, tortured and killed by her employers. In the FIR her parents have said they wanted to meet their daughter but Naeem and his family did not allow them.

According to the FIR the cause of Shazia’s death are rape and brutal torture. Report says lawyer and his family members tortured Shazia and when she was about to die and moved her to the Jinnah Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim’s father, a resident of Aria Nagar, a Christian community of Lahore said his daughter was raped and murdered.

A family member in Lahore told this reporter that 13 year old was raped and became pregnant. And, that is why she was not allowed to see her parents. This family member said she died of a botched abortion attempt.

Following Shazia’s murder several protest rallies were held by local Christian communities demanding justice and protection for minorities.

Because of media coverage of this incident, President Asif Ali Zardari had to make a statement annoucing Rs.500,000 ($6,500) for the family members of the deceased. He has asked provincial minister to visit the victim’s family and assure them that justice would be provided to them at all costs.

Provincial Law Minister Puanjab, Rana Sanaullah, told Urdu language TV that he ordered police to immediately arrest the accused.

Frequently in Pakistan Christian girls are kidnapped, raped, and then forced to marry their Muslim rapists, of course converting to Islam.

"There is no compulsion in religion."

But in life, in Muslim-dominated states and societies, there is compulsion, often murderous compulsion, every which way you look.

The so called religion of peace has a good track record of kidnapping, raping and molesting young girls and women throughout the world. Since its inception it has been in the forefront of such atrocities.

No, what upsets these pigs is any perceived insult to their child molesting monster of a false prophet.

Pakistani officials would never arrest or try this animal for his crimes because he's a compliant Muslim.

He could do this to his own daughter and avoid punishment. Why: the Qu'ran permits it. The Qu'ran has a hundred escape hatches for Muslim men who rape, torture, and kill girls and women.

Allah allows it. Muhammed voiced that allowance. Muslims heed that allowance. A wild animal takes better care of its young than a muslim.

This is one of the saddest stories to come along lately amongst a virtual torrent of sad stories from the world of Islam.

The themes though are often similar:

A powerful elite (just being a male in Islam gives one elite status) versus a powerless victim (just being female in Islam, or coming in contact with Islam, makes one powerless.)

Add other elements such as university education, lawyer status, a powerful bar association, money, and the dominant religion of Islam versus a young girl, most likely barely literate, servant status, from a downtrodden Christian family in a wildly aggressive Muslim society and the stage is set for a huge injustice.

Add the fact of her pregnancy, with all the accompanying shame, bewilderment, and frustration at the injustices being heaped upon her that she must have felt, and the ensuing attempt at abortion (whether by the girl herself, or more likely forced upon her by her employer) and a full-blown tragedy emerges, about which even Shakespeare would have trouble capturing all the elements.

This poor girl didn't stand a chance.

Apart from arresting the girl's employer (ex-President of the Lahore Bar Association), police have also booked a Christian relative of the girl and his wife, who had introduced the girl to this employer. It's all in the interest of ensuring justice for the girl, of course.

Islam did not "abolish slavery" but, for Muslims, permanently legitimized it. Muhammad had slaves, and Muhammad was, for all time, the Perfect Man, al-insan al-kamil. Because, in Islam, one must accept things as they are given in Qur'an, Hadith, Sira, one must ideally submit to authority, the authority of Islam and not, as a humble individual Muslim, dare to question anything that Islam teaches (Islam as formulated, and codified, more than a millennium ago, in the Shari'a). There never was an anti-slavery movement in the Muslim world. In fact, the only way slavery was stamped out was through the efforts of the European powers. It was Great Britain that, largely through the power of the Royal Navy, managed to stamp out the slave trade that brought black Africans by dhow to the slave-markets of Arabia. In North Africa, it was the French who stamped out the slave trade. In those places where the Europeans never entered -- the interior of Arabia -- slavery continued. Indeed, slavery was only formally abolished in Saudi Arabia in 1962, after enormous international pressure, at a time when the Saudis did not have the vast oil revenues they do now, and they had to worry a bit more about what others thought, and could do to them. Even today there is still an informal system of slavery all over the Muslim world -- the treatment of Christian household domestics in Pakistan amounts to slavery (they are often not paid, as the girl in the story above was not paid). or land (slave coffle) to the Islamic slave-markets.

Arabs still enslave black Africans everywhere they are able to do so. In the southern Sudan, black African Christians and animists have, according to hundreds of reports by many different groups, been sold into slavery. In Mauritania there is slavery. In Morocco, there is not formal slavery, but slave-like conditions for the black Africans who are employed.

The only reason there is no longer the formal and legal recogntition of slavery is due to the need to outwardly pretend to conform, here and there, to what are international norms. There never was a Muslim Wilberforce, and there never could be.

In fact, Saudi clerics have been calling for a recognition, again, of slavery, as a part of Islam. Just look up Sheik Saleh Al-Fawzan, a member of the inner circle of Saudi clerics and Islamic scholars who recently was quoted thuys:

"Slavery is a part of Islam. Slavery is part of jihad, and jihad will remain as long there is Islam." Al-Fawzan described those Muslims who pretended -- perhaps for the sake of Islam's image, and to fool Infidels -- that slavery is not part of Islam as "ignorant, not scholars. They are merely writers. Whoever says such things is an infidel."

Sheikh Al-Fawzan is not a minor cleric, nor one un-versed in Islam. He is (or was, I'm not sure of his current status):

-A member of the Senior Council of Clerics, Saudi Arabia's highest religious body;
-A member of the Council of Religious Edicts and Research;
-Imam of the Prince Mitaeb Mosque in Riyadh
-Professor at Imam Mohamed Bin Saud Islamic University, the main Wahhabi center of learning.

Many in the West are now aware of the dimensions, and cruelty, of the Arab slave trade, particularly that which made the seizing of young black African boys, to serve as eunuchs, a specialty. They were not castrated after their journey to the slave-markets of Islam, but where they were captured: castrated without, of course, any anaesthetic, and then forced to endure the voyage by dhow or slave coffle. In “The Hideous Trade” Jan Hoogedorn estimates their survival rate at 10%.

Ironically, we own a sizable share of these atrocities and abuses inflicted upon the Christian minority by unwittingly and directly funding ($10 billion dollars, courtesy of Biden, Obama, Kerry with no requirement of accountability) and supporting "Jihad Central", Pakistan.

What is shocking but true is, if a supposedly educated man, elected as president of the Lahore Bar Association, responsible for taking leadership in establishing an exemplary conduct to protect minority rights, to prevent a "Christianophobia" and an "anti-Christian backlash", the very president himself is raping, torturing and murdering Christian children, behaving like a 7h century savage, what to say of this sorry nation, Pakistan?

And where is Washington's protest on this issue? I guess not after Obama/Biden/Kerry's dollars in Pakistan are hard at work!
