I think that Gordon Brown needs to be reminded of the wisdom of Thomas Jefferson "What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?"

Muhammed Bear "Long live the traditions of British Liberty" I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but if you were - I agree with you. There is no longer any "British" liberty, at least for non-Muslim British people. Indeed anybody who is white, or Christian, or Jewish, or Hindu or of any other faith does not have a place in the traditions of Britain at this time. If you are a Muslim you will be feted, promoted, listened to - even to the extent of having people who say they don't agree with your religion (note: they do not even have to SAY you should be deported, or that they will cause you bodily harm)arrested and prosecuted.
Gordon Brown and his government, in common with Obama and various heads of state in Europe, have over-developed cowardice glands and it's terminal. That seems to be the "tradition" of Britain nowadays, of America and of Europe - and it's terminal. God help us.
