As to the first part: Muslims *do not* believe in the 'Old testament'—they believe that Ibrahim, Musa, Duaud, etc were "Muslim prophets*, and that the Jews falsified their stories in the Torah. As to the second part, Muslim *men* are allowed to marry "jews and christians". The woman will, in most case, be expected to convert to Islam. Even in the few cases where she is allowed to continue practicing her religion, it is mandated that any children be raised Muslim.
