It is okay to have four as long as he can treat them all equally.

While such treatment, as always, is deplorable I find the between the lines of this story more interesting. Assuming that it is known that all these acts where against turkish law, the "father" and the two "men" felt free to commit them (slavery, rape) in the open AND report each other to the police when a dispute arose from these illegal acts. It makes me think these "laws" are not put into practice much and wonder why the police bothered in this case?
