May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon those who follow the guidance.
This is the traditional Islamic greeting that a Muslim is to extend to a non-Muslim. (To a fellow Muslim, a Muslim says "Peace be upon you.") Since it is only the Muslims who "follow the guidance," this greeting in effect says, "Peace be upon the Muslims."
[...] We begin by inviting all non-Muslims to Islam, the perfect and most beautiful way of life, a favour from Allah (God) to mankind to take him out of the darkness of worshipping his own desires to the exclusive worship, submission and obedience of Allah alone, without partners and to testify the Messenger-ship of the final Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We urge you to embrace Islam and save yourselves and your family from the hellfire and not to believe the lies and distortions which the Western media and non-Islamic regimes would have you believe about Muslims and their true intentions....
This invitation accords with Muhammad's instructions: "Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war...When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them....If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them." (Sahih Muslim 4294)
Choudary asserts, in a flight of fantasy, that the war in Afghanistan is to prevent the establishment of Sharia there. He ignores, of course, that the Afghan Constitution already establishes Sharia as the highest law of the land:
The rich resources of Afghanistan, its position on the cusp between the Indian sub-continent, Southern Russian, Asia and China and its populations call for the Shari'ah are the real reasons why the military has sought to establish a permanent role there, no matter what the cost to the lives and wealth of the indigenous people or indeed their own. Pivotal in this is the desire to prevent Muslims from running their own affairs and establishing an Islamic State if they so wish but rather to maintain a puppet in the area (Mr Karzia) to maintain and protect Western interests....

Seeing as how this invitation is geenrally a prelude to attack, I hope the British security services are on the ball and on high alert.
Abem Choudary, so useful because he insists on telling the truth about Islam, is someone not to lock out or expel, but to keep quoting, and quoting. He must send colubrine Tariq Ramadan, the master hisser and practitioner of Taqiyya, into fits.

As Hugh indicates, Choudary is for the most part truthful when he speaks of Islam itself. To be clear on the subject of "innocent people," the Western concept is entirely different than the Islamic one. In Islam, a non-Muslim can never be innocent because, ipso facto, he/she is not Muslim. That is, your existence as a non-Muslim is itself a crime making you deserving of earthly punishment. This explains in part some of the workings of the Sharia: the intentional killing by one Muslim of another Muslim carries a greater punishment than the same act done to a non-Muslim.

In fact, Choudray is kind of right there. A lot of it is lies, especially when people in the media crap on about Islam being the religion of peace and "Islamophobia" is on the rise blah blah blah.
Choudray doesn't lie about what Islam is and he illustrates how perverse a doctrine it is. He's explained on British public television how non-Muslims are not innocent and how the life of a Muslim is worth more than a non-Muslim. He's someone I absolutely detest.
Perhaps you detest Choudary, but he's a walking billboard of what Islam is all about. There is nothing pretty or admirable about it, and that is something that must be seen.
Choudary tells it like it is. How dare starry-eyed Western PC types pretend to tell us what Islam is or that Islam is a religion of peace. We want to hear from Muslims themselves as to what Islam is.
Whether Choudary is honest about islam and therefore useful is besides the point. I'd still love the weasel to go one-on-one with a serving member of HM Forces (such as my nephew) and see how allah guides his nose to the fist of a 2 Rifles middleweight boxer.

I joined the FB group against the march, and the comments from the Brits even shocked me, lol. As of this morning they had over 430,000 people in the group, most spouting hatred and profanity aimed at the muslims.

Choudry is making more and more Brits stand up for England, and if this march goes ahead they are going to get a not so friendly reception, to say the least.

Just wondering. I have not been able to find this anywhere but why do Muslims say things like "peace be upon him" and such after every mention of Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, etc.? Is it something commanded by Muhammad, Ar-Rahman...errrr...Allah?
If you read through the Daily Mail article that GymGal posted you'll see the inevitable 'backlash' quote:
'We will hold Anjum Choudary and al-Muhajiroun responsible for any backlash against any Muslim in Wiltshire or elsewhere as a result of their proposed irresponsible and irrational actions and any insecurity brought upon the majority peaceful Muslim population.'
So the condemnation is really about moslem fears not the abhorrent march and impact on British families mourning their lost.
