For the last 4-5 years I have studied Islam and its history. If one will do this with earnestness, there is only one conclusion: there is nothing, nothing, positive about Islam. From personal relationships to totalitarian government, Islam kills the human spirit.
To see Islam in action is to answer the question, Could Islam ever produce a Beethoven?

This is an issue that needs to be addressed in all western countries, not only the UK. But yes, I agree that one major country is finally waking up to the consequences of allowing Muslims to have their say and change our laws. One thing leads to another, & if the USA and Canada (esp Canada) don't wake up, we will have the same problems the UK has currently. Islam by nature is very primitive and clashes with our advanced way of living. It is also by nature a theocratic ruling system that doesn't agree with democracy in any way, shape, or form. I wish ppl here in North America would understand the urgent issue at hand.

Sorry for my negativity folks, but I believe history's verdict regarding Europe's future has already been rendered...not because the point-of-no-return has been passed, but because the elite's stranglehold on politics and culture is so pervasive.

1 in 4 however still do feel positive about. out of 60M , that's still what 15Million people who feel good about Islam.
This will include large sections of cities like Bradford, Birmingham, Leicester etc.

In these troubled times, Influential groups will be employing and empowering muslims to positions of power to try and promote the peace message. This means getting councillar jobs, Mayors, deputies to police commissioners, Sargents and officers in the army to teach the rest about the peaceful elements.
Schools will get regular imam visits too...I think it is not a bad place for muslims to be in really. It would have taken us years to get this influence otherwise; thank you for the fast track, there is good for Islam in all situations.

75% are not positive on Islam? The worm is turning. Not surprised in the least. Just reflect for a moment what a poll in the UK on this very matter would have revealed just twenty years ago. The percentage would have been nowhere near where it is now. Jump forward just ten years and reflect what it will be then. Islam can't help making itself despised, especially in lands which have experienced real freedom and which have Muslims in their midst. All part of the reason why I'm positive long term, though much death, injury and destruction will occur before Islam is virtually extirpated from the West and treated as the pariah of liberty which it is.
Now the British government will implement an expansive, expensive, mandatory social engineering program to rectify the rampant islamophobia in the U.K. It will soon be illegal to think unfavorably of islam. Seriously, they probably won't meddle much with the adult population but they will go after the children with a vengeance, mark my words. Whenever the "government" conducts a survey like this, there are dubious motives involved. They will ramp up their indoctrination techniques and start working on the kids in nursery school instead of kindergarten. The muslim population in the U.K. is too big to ignore and it's not going away. It will only get bigger. If the natives do not like the muslims now, they'll like them even less when there are more of them. I shudder to think what the British government will do to address this problem.

As for your supposition that as Europe goes, so goes the world, I don't think it is necessarily so. The Americas and the far East are not burdened by the Muslim immigration/demographic time-bomb the way Europe is. History and geography have been kinder to us. If you had asked me 5 years ago I personally would have gone down the colour blind religion of peace route. However 911 and 7/7 caused me to research more and I find the above stats seem correct.
