A British taxpayer watchdog group unveiled two reports on Monday detailing the role of European foreign aid in the transmission of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic narratives in Palestinian Authority schools and media in Jerusalem.The reports, "Palestinian Hate Education Since Annapolis" and "Funding Hate Education," detail what the Taxpayers' Alliance refers to as a campaign of "demonizing Israel" largely funded by European taxpayers, a policy it says diminishes long-term hopes for peace.
The Taxpayers' Alliance said it has taken up the issue of incitement against Israel in the Palestinian territories because it believes there must be greater scrutiny of aid programs for the PA, so that taxpayer money from the UK and the EU no longer funds programs that harm thepeace process and the national interests of British and EU citizens.
Matthew Sinclair, research director for the Taxpayers' Alliance, said at a press briefing in Jerusalem, held with Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, that in Palestinian society, "we're looking at a population where 42 percent are under the age of 15. You have a huge younger generation whose views are going to shape the situation for a long time.
"Peace lies in the hearts and minds of people and it's vital that the right attitudes are encouraged in people and the right conditions are created for peace," Sinclair continued.
"It's rare we see it [foreign aid] doing as much harm to the British taxpayers as we do in this case," he said....
Oh, I'm sure they'll find a way to top it.
Disgraceful & unsurprising. The Palestinian Authority believes in the money jihad, even in its public statements.
Also, Terror Finance Blog ran an article last year saying that "Palestinian aid" goes "to people who simply don’t need the charity, and many are not refugees, and some are not even Palestinians."
I ran something along similar lines last week, although this dealt specifically with the Jerusalem housing riots.
Take a look at one of the smoking guns, detailing exactly who the EU funds and how much taxpayer money is wasted on undermining Israel - in our name, but not with our permission - by the undemocratic, unaccountable EU Kleptocrats.
Think about that for a moment - the unelected European Union executive and its crippled 'legisature' lecturing the Middle East's only developed country on, um, 'Human Rights and Democracy'.
It's our jizya, infidels.
I applaud JHW for exposing this travesty, but have one point of disagreement with the speakers quoted above. It is not possible that this misplaced funding will cause any harm to the "peace process," because no such process has ever existed.
Shortly after lunch on Sept. 13, 1993, after the signing of the Oslo Accords in Washington, Arafat taped a speech to be shown to his people the next day. In it he assured them that what they had witnessed was not peace, or anything remotely resembling peace, but simply the fulfillment of the promise he had made in 1974, to destroy Israel in stages. That speech, exposed in The Jerusalem Post, Israel's leading English language daily, and sent to every news organization in the free world, was totally ignored.

It cannot be emphasized enough that the basis for Palestinian Muslim antisemitism and unremitting hostility toward Israel is religious in nature. Islam teaches that Jews are irredemably evil, more so than any other group on the planet, and the chief enemy of the Muslims. Because of their iniquitous behavior (the killing of prophets, the corruption of their revealed scripture, i.e the torah, their obstinate refusal to accept Muhammed as the greatest of prophets because of his non-Hebraic origins, their practice of sorcery, their cowardice and love of material things, etc.) they have, more than any other people, incurred Allah's wrath, and are destined to roam the earth as a stateless, people, deserving of loathing and persecution wherever they are found. These views about the Jews are part and parcel of mainstream Islam. It is time that everyone understands this, and realizes that this deeply rooted and ineradicable Jew-hatred, as fundamental to Islam as its so-called Five Pillars, translates to an annihilatory attitude, one which puts Israeli Jews (and all other Jews, for that matter, who live near or among Muslim populations, which in the West are growing dangerously) in mortal danger. It is no wonder why Islam appealed so much to Hitler, and why Islam earned his admiration.
Commonsense, correct. Misguided people claim that Arab hostility towards Jews stems from Zionism and is a new phenomenon. Wrong. It stems from Islam's inception, no earlier, no later.
