Geniuses at IAEA discover that Iran may be developing a nuclear warhead

Clueless watchdog makes shocking discovery several years late: "IAEA: Iran's nukes 'also for army,'" from the Jerusalem Post, February 21 (thanks to Sr. Soph):

Israel praised an International Atomic Energy Agency report released on Thursday that says Iran may be developing a nuclear warhead.

"The new IAEA report deals more sharply and clearly than its predecessors with the military aspects of Iran's nuclear program," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on Friday.

Noting that the report is the first during the term of new IAEA chief Yukiya Amano of Japan, Israel said it "establishes that the agency has a lot of trustworthy information about the past and present activities that testify to the military tendencies of the Iranian program."

Among these activities were the recently declared decisions to enrich uranium to 20 percent and the continued construction of the Qom nuclear facility, kept secret until it was discovered by Western intelligence agencies and made public in recent months.

The UN nuclear agency report suggested for the first time that Teheran had either resumed such work or had never stopped when US intelligence thought it did....

Yet the Fantasy-Based Policymaking continues.

I liked the IAEA better when it was run by that Moslem dude name Mohamed El Al or something or other.

*** 92:8 ***

At that time the troupe had a comedic capacity greater than now. But even today this group is still good for barrel of monkey laughs on their good days. Oh the irony.

A watch dog with bad sight, poor smell, no teeth and can't bark.

That's why they call it a watch dog-it's all it can do-watch.

I read in yesterday's WaPo that a lot of people in Egypt want Mohammed ElBaradai, former head of the IAEA, to run for president there.

The IAEA played the fool for years with regard to Iran.

The Iranians are exceptionally clever...'Stupid kufr' are living up to the Ayatollahs expectations...Maybe Iran already has a nuclear weapon capability, so the issue of 20% enrichment is just a diversion...another one...

But the Ayatollah SWORE on the qur'an that Iran wouldn't build a nuke! ...hmmm, maybe he should have sworn on the Bible, instead. 'Cause swearing on the qur'an means that he's entitled to lie.

Decaptitation.

Strike.

Whether by targeting their top scientists, one by one, within Iran (making their ends look like "random street crimes", "unfortunate accidents", etc., at first, but being evident, as time went on, that there were too many scientists suddenly dying for such an answer to be plausible),

~or an EMP attack on the entire electromagnetic infrastructure to give the Iranian irrationalists a hint of what we will do to stop theocratic crazies from gaining the tools of Annihilation.

Waiting for madmen to gain such Apocalyptic weapons is suicidal stupidity.

The ruling strategy of the West, at present.

Sorry, off-topic, but a video worth watching.

The honest Japanese man, diligently doing his job, tells it as it is, leaving no wiggle room for Obama administration. Even when Ahmadinejad himself declared on Feb. 11 that Iran has produced the first batch of highly enriched uranium, the official US response was the panicky: "No, they did not, they are just bragging". But now, a neutral expert, working for the UN, had not only cofirmed it, but presented even more grave information about Iran's Nuclear Jihad project. Iran has such total contempt for the United States of America that it no longer even bothers to put up a Khatami to play a "good cop". It leaves the US no face-saving excuse for inaction. And the Amano report leaves the US no room for denial. Things have come to a head. The United States of America faces a stark choice: either take action against Iran, or expose your abject pathological cowardice before the entire world, and take full responsibility for its inevitable consequence: the Global Nuclear Jihad.

Ruslan Tokhchukov, EnragedSince1999.

Enragedsince1999,

Funny you mentioned Japan, I just mentioned them in previous post.
As much as I could find, I think the muslim population in Japan is so small, that it's not even being mentioned as a percentage.

It is interesting to see what is happening (or should I say, not happening) in Japan in regard to islam.

Khushi,
Thanks for the link, you can see the whole camp they have there. It's very important to note where the hecklers are coming from.

"The new IAEA report deals more sharply and clearly than its predecessors with the military aspects of Iran's nuclear program," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on Friday.
.......................

And why might that be? Hmmm...could it have anything to do with the fact that the last head of the IAEA was not only Muslim, but that his Iranian wife is closely related to Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, a close associate of the late Ayatollah Khomenei?

Now that the head of the IAEA is Japanese Yukiya Amano—well, his view of the Iranian nuclear program might indeed be a bit clearer.

Here's El-Baradei's Newsweek article from May of last year regarding the 'imminently reasonable' Iranians, "They are not Fanatics":

"They are not like the stereotyped fanatics bent on destroying everybody around them. They are not."

Of course not!

“Deception! Those Peace Loving Persians under the Theocratic Yoke of Islam wouldn’t use Deception, would they?

What’s the world coming to?”

This statement brought to you by my dead Grandma, who used to vote Liberal, which is another party not to far from the grave.

"...Cause swearing on the qur'an means that he's entitled to lie."

Exactly.

"War is deception." - Mohammed.

The Arabian Warlord who wrote the Koran.

I'd say that they've been saying this about Iran's intentions for years...

I'd say that Iran has been lying for years...

I'd say that others have been drawing lines in the sand for years, telling Iran not to cross them, then folding their hands and redrawing the lines as the mullahs AGAIN cross those lines.....

Did I just say it?

I'd say more; but, judging from trends from some of the gate keepers on other threads, one of them would probably come along and claim my intentions are exactly the opposite of what they really are.

Anyway, those who are in power give the appearance of not doing a whole lot; and I am left wondering if I'm not going to awaken some morning to find that some city in the Dar al Hari has been turned into a fire ball, and those of us who have always known the great evil that the dark lords of Teheran are capable of will shake our heads and think "I knew this was gonna happen."

Iran has played us well & knows that she can continue to lie & we will continue to threaten. Meanwhile development of iranian nuclear weapons marches frantically ahead.

Once again the learned analyst get it wrong and Isreal will pay the price. In America the so called experts have there heads so deep in the sand they are given America to the jihadist. On 2/21/2010, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says: (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20100221/D9E0R8H02.html) "terrorists who are U.S. citizens or live in the country legally and plot against the U.S. are just as big of a concern as international terrorists". She says "officials need to drill down and analyze the factors that make a young person, raised in the U.S., migrate to extremist beliefs and actions". It's been almost 10 years since 9/11 and they are still asking why? I could understand asking why "they migrate", But to ask the question "to extremist beliefs" tells me the problem right there. If any body should ask this question, answers the question for me. They are the problem. If they would open the Qur'an it would be right under there nose. 10 years, man, wow, we are in big trouble.

"...officials need to drill down and analyze the factors that make a young person, raised in the U.S., migrate to extremist beliefs and actions" -- Janet Napolitano, quote from casey92

Janet Napolitano would seem to have difficulty recognizing herself in a mirror, so her saying this is no surprise. Like many on the Left, her mindset blocks recognition of certain elementary things that are perfectly obvious to anyone with eyes to see and an ability to think. In terms of linear mathematics, her basis set doesn't span the space of reality, so that events falling into her null space are, effectively, invisible. It's a widespread ailment that apparently affects large segments of society.

Eastview, hi. Right on about Napolitano.

Wasn't she the one who quipped concering the panty-jihadist.......Our security system is working?

Sure it is. If by "security system" she means the need for passengers to be ready to tackle and disarm any terrorist the enemy throws our way.

Napolitano is an embarrassment. I don't know how she lasts.

I see you've met the family.

Robert,

My sarcaso-meter did a slight 180 degree reorientation at the use of the word, geniuses.

Here is the acid test:

Just watch, as we go day to day, how increasingly tortured are John Bolton's assessments of how close Iran is to a nuclear bomb.

I am waiting to hear something like this from one of the talking heads,

"So John, I know I asked you yesterday how close Iran was to a nuclear bomb, and you said, "Really, really, really, really close."

... Can you update that opinion?

"Chris, after careful analysis, I would now have to say that Iran is really, really, really, really, really close."

This report is a welcome change in direction for the IAEA, but it will probably take Yukiya Amano some time to restaff the place and change the course the Ship of Fools it had become from ineffectively running around in circles, as it had been doing under El-Baradei. The real question is how tough this guy is willing to be, not just with Iran, but also with China and Russia, who having been running interference for Iran, and with the EU pansies, as well. He's going to have to move fast, as the clock is ticking. In his capacity of head of the IAEA, he'll also have to take on North Korea, as well, not only for it's role in providing technology to Iran, but because of its own nuclear weapons program. Here, again, China will be a factor.

Paleologos,

Too funny!

And now another update from Mr. Boulton:

"I'd say they're really, really, really, BLAM!
(screen goes black)

And Amano will be about as effective at the IAEA as
Ban Ki-Moon is at the UN....NADA....

Napolitano is an embarrassment. I don't know how she lasts.

I see you've met the family.

TRUST ME, 3/4 OF NAPLES FEELS THE SAME WAY....
