The jihad against the United States picked up steam in 2009: over one-third of the attempted and successful jihad attacks on American soil since 9/11 took place in the last year. Muslim Brotherhood organizations have infiltrated our government at the highest levels.
Still, the mainstream media won't tell you about the jihad. Even the conservative media won't tell you about the jihad. It's up to free citizens to stand up now, before it's too late. That's why Pamela Geller and I have created a new organization to stand up against this silence and willful blindness that threatens our existence and renders us defenseless as our freedoms and way of life are eroded away. We are launching the Freedom Defense Initiative, a new activist group, at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2010, with a conference entitled Jihad: The Political Third Rail - What They Are Not Telling You.
We're bringing in some of the leading speakers about the jihad threat in the U.S. and around the world. The main speakers are Steve Coughlin and Wafa Sultan. Steve Coughlin is the former Pentagon Islamic law specialist who was fired after pressure from Islamic infiltrators. He is making his first public appearance for us at CPAC, and has startling information about Islamic infiltration in our government. Wafa Sultan stood up for human rights against Sharia on Al-Jazeera in a debate with an Islamic cleric on a famous viral video. She is the author of a blistering indictment of Islam's denial of rights to women and non-Muslims, A God Who Hates.
Other speakers include Simon Deng, a former slave in Sudan, and a leading human rights activist against jihad and Islamic supremacism; Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, who is facing "hate speech" charges in Austria for telling the truth about Islam and the Islamization of Europe; Anders Gravers of the group Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE); and Lt. Colonel Allen West: a war hero who offers a real alternative to Obama's socialism at home and appeasement abroad.
It promises to be an enlightening event, and it's certainly unique given the general media blackout on these issues.
But to hold this event, we need your help.
This conference will be held at the site of CPAC, but it is an independent event, not a CPAC event. Pamela Geller and I are holding this event at our own expense. We are paying the speakers' airfare and hotel bills, we are covering the costs of publicity - we are staging this entire event ourselves. We don't have big donors, we don't have large bankrollers. We are not a slick organization with professional fundraisers making elaborate presentations to wealthy philanthropists. All we have is a determination to get the word out about this, the gravest threat to our freedoms that this country has ever faced.
Last year, 9,000 people came to CPAC. This year it promises to be even bigger. Our event is the only one where the truth will be heard about the jihad threat. Then the videos will go up on the Internet and be a reference source to awaken people to this threat for years to come.

Wat about those of us who support you 100% on your stance against jihad and Islamic supremacy, whethe4r it be violent or stealth,and who support Israel as a bulwark against jihad, who support Geert Wilders, Wafa sultan and the other brave fighters, but don't necessarily support the FDI domestic agenda, which lists "states' rights" (a real buzz word for those of us old enough to remember), along with other domestic points that have nothing to do with fighting jihad?

Are those of us who are not supporters of the tea partiers or Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck, and those of us who support some bgovernment involvement in the healthcare system--are we to be locked out? You have always said that Jihad Watch has not involved itself in these non-jihad issues-but the link above says that these other issues are part of the FDI agenda.
Sheldon Adelson? He's also one of the richest men in the world. I'd guess his beliefs would lend him toward supporting an initiative like this.
The trick, of course, is how to make it happen. Busy guys with everyone, and then some, knocking on their door.

its a bold step in the right direction.My only concern however is when there is a mix of internal US politics in this whole agenda.Remember there are many people of different polical orientations,but they all have a commom interest of fighting islamic imperialism.attacting politicians directly seems off the mark.Atleast according to me.

bob of potomac, I think I agree with you. I wish the resistance to Islamization could decouple itself from any partisan conservative associations and be completely non-partisan. But think of it this way. I'll bet you that if you started an anti-jihad organization against Islamization, but with otherwise liberal political views (say, supporting social democracy but minus cultural relativism) that FDI would accept an alliance with you. I'll bet FDI would ally with you, so long as you are seriously against Islamization, and honest about Islam, and so long as you are for broad human rights (i.e., not fascist or racist), and I'll bet FDI would support you even though the founders of FDI wouldn't agree with your social democracy or liberal politics. So if FDI would ally with you as an anti-jihadist, why can't you ally with FDI, even though you don't believe in excessive concerns about "state's rights," and even though you believe in an increased role for government in health care, whereas FDI's founders might not?

Am still wondering.... Why do we need another “ACT for America” type organization?
As a businessman/activist I just like efficiency of labor and resources...AND helping to build the NRA of National Security....ONE really BIG loud voice that ACT's lobbyist on Capital Hill can shout with and local and state officials hear from. Not a lot of jabs from different directions but one BIG (NRA style) punch we can hit them with over and over.
What FDI proposes under the heading..."To achieve these ends the Freedom Defense Initiative will:" in it proposed description is already set up and running by ACT via its 80,000 members and 360 (and growing) national chapters today. It's not a "will" its a reality all set up.
Just as ACT promotes the “initiatives” of others out there on the front lines by telling its members to get out and support them with time and money,(Check out Pam Geller’s events for Rifqa Bary as a prime example. ACT members were there supporting her.) I suggest you and Pam tell your readers that if they want to be hands on in the fight, to join ACT and be ON the front lines TOMORROW with a working staff and resources to support them. Why re-invent the wheel?

ACT does great stuff. But we are different -- everything I have done is different. And frankly, the one time I asked ACT to do an email blast on a Rifqa Bary rally, I was turned down.
No biggie. Everyone pursues their goals in their way.
This event is not like anything anyone has ever done at CPAC. Further the action items RS and I have planned going forward are orginal SWAT operations.
Please, take this enormous amount of energy you are expending in running this down and open an ACT chapter somewhere and go to work against the common enemy. It ain't us!

As far as the e-mail blast to "pursue" your goal of an effective Bary event...I checked with someone who knows and found out that because of weekly e-mail server limitations the ALERT concerning your Bary event was not sent ALL over the country ....but was strategically sent to people within driving distance of the event thus preserving weekly server limitations. (It's a technical thing organizations with 10's of thousands of members run into...)
Hmmmm...I see ACT banners and people throughout the pictures and videos of your Bary events...Don't mislead the folks in here about ACT's efforts....It gladly uses its resources in an efficient manner to help others' efforts succeed when not re-inventing the wheel...
