Your statement above was so good that it deserves a second look. Anti-Christian bullying bigots like Jim Fool need your "help" and it is good to see you "helping" him to better know himself.
We should note that the US only gets a small percentage of its petroleum from Arab countries; most of our supplies come from Venezuela, Nigeria, Mexico and Canada and perhaps some other small producers. Europe and now China, depend heavily on Opec/Arab exports so cutting the Muslim world off is not a viable option.
Iran still holds to its 'death to America' mantra, it is written everywhere, chanted daily and weekly at the mosques, and with Immaoutmamymind at the helm, it will only get worse. Why does the mouse that roared continue its abuses of human rights, military buildups, threats to the western world? Not being an historian or political scientist, I can only guess that, like Castro's Cuba, a despot cannot help the people and instead builds up a security apparatus in order to control the population and remain in power. Using paranoia and delusions of world control and domination is a way to stay in power.
Then there is the illusion that this is a despot like any other; this is the tip of the spear, with Hezballah a close second (assuming Al Quaeda has lost momentum but leaving that variable out of the equation) of the Islamic ideal of world caliphate and sharia law everywhere.
Here is where a line between fiction and reality blurs; many novels have depicted the downfall of humanity at the hands of splinter groups or de-evolved humans. His biggest ally in the West is Chavez of Venezuela, where Iran can install missile launch facilities and threaten the whole Western hemisphere.. but I digress.

Good idea. I have suggested something like this for a long time. The problem is that not everyone would comply and the Islamics would get the modern weapons they want to spread their religion by force.
As you pointed out, their demographics (as vividly described in "America Alone" by Mark Steyn) put us at a great disadvantage due to their high birth rate. At some point, sooner or later, the Islamics will gravitate to a kill or be killed position with everyone non-Muslim, including us. This is what they do. They have been doing this for 1400 years and I doubt they will change their ways anytime soon.
If Iran is allowed to get their nukes, most likely they will use them to consolidate Islamic power and achieve their goal of total Islamic supremacy as quickly as they can. Our frustration is that many of our leaders do not understand this and as a result we are watching a slow motion "bad movie" where we slowly reach our demise.
I would like to know a better solution, but so far the only sure way I see is to eliminate all copies of the Koran and make Iran a big parking lot with one of our Tridents but our weasel leaders are more likely to sell us out and join with Iran, than do anything like that.

This particular phrase of Foster's I noticed:

This kind of lurid and inflammatory hyperbole has been typical of Foster from nearly the beginning when people began to criticize his various formulations. By and large, his critics have not been indulging in this kind of hyperbole, particularly not when they have mounted specific challenges to his formulations (and only when they are responding to his temper tantrums); and yet Kinana of Khaybar has more than once implied, at best, that an even-handed tit-for-tat exists between Foster and his detractors. Indeed, one sometimes gets the impression Kinana leans toward reprimanding Foster's detractors, but not Foster. Foster's lurid and inflammatory hyperbole has the effects of 1) stirring the pot, 2) obfuscating his childish (or calculated) unresponsiveness to challenges, and then, amazingly, on the part of some here, 3) of shifting the spotlight from his dubious behavior onto us!!!
It is dismaying that a few JW commenters continue to treat Foster as though he were one of us (oh oh, there's that "paranoid group-think" again! soon we'll be burning Leftist witches!).
Yep champ; as I wrote above, Foster is the one who has been guilty of the "incendiary language" adding far more flames than anyone else in this context. "dog pack out for my blood" -- nobody has been using flaming language like that against him (only to a degree, and always after he has lashed out in the first place, and never in the context of the several challenges he keeps ignoring or dancing around).

There is a time to "help", and there is a time to roundly dismiss. That darcy and champ add lots of spice to their dismissals is tangential to the merits of dismissing this Jim Foster; and it might be added that to focus on their spice exclusively is to ignore the fact that Foster has always been the first to fling lurid and inflammatory hyperbole, and has been doing it far more than his detractors. Indeed, his hyperbole is getting more and more comically extreme.

But as you can see from Foster's response, he effectively dismissed its wisdom by accusing his detractors of the nonsense of which he has been the main perpetrator, and protesting his innocence. If you're innocent, you needn't adjust or change: only your "attackers" (that "dog pack out for blood" as he charmingly put it) need to change, or even face banning as he intimated elsewhere in this thread, directly calling on Robert, Hugh and Marisol to consider taking measures against his detractors.
Foster's escalating hyperbole and circling-the-wagon paranoia about his critics here seems to have the paradoxical effect, at least on some, of shifting the spotlight onto his detractors (mainly me, champ, darcy, awake, and George), as though we are to blame for his regular fits of childish outbursts and his lurid and inflammatory hyperbole. An interesting tactic -- almost has a Muslim flavor to it. Or perhaps Alinsky outlined it somewhere in his manual of subversion...

I've had the pleasure to be on a couple of threads not blighted by this guy's personal jihad. Great comments from all & positive interaction among the contributors with mutual respect and reinforcement. What a welcome contrast to threads he's contaminated, not least this one. Like a good neighborhood before the gangs moved in.
Foster doesn't even have the self-awareness to realize that he's totally discredited himself here. Right from day one. And progressively worse every day since. I surely hope he'll seek professional help. But then, he'd have to realize he has a problem. Not much chance there...
