We keep hearing the old cliche about killing one human being is like killing all of mankind.All this talk about

If body scanning is UN-Islamic,don't use them in Muslim run countries.On the other Muslim organisations shouldn't be dictating on security matters to non-Muslim countries.The

None force them to use a plane....the problem is solved they don't travel by plane so they don't have to pass through the scanners...

This could be the solution, body scanners are against Islam, no Muslim can go through the scanner, ALL passengers must be scanned, therefore NO Muslims can fly, equals Islamic terrorism on airplanes problem solved, except that they would sneak bombs on board if they were involved with freight companies or had any other access to the planes. So perhaps scanning will be required for everyone getting near a plane and all freight scanned as well. Or, just don't allow Islam in the West, that would really be the best solution for all concerned. The West will bankrupt itself trying to avoid Jihad attacks and it will inconvenience itself submitting to outrageous examinations and all sorts of privacy invasions just to try to avoid Jihad attacks.

Well let's see here...Un-Islamic to reveal a view of one's unhidden body to another (in case you were wondering, this also applies to husband and wife)...how does a Muslim cope Islamically with full body-scanners for air transportation?

An inseparable part of the foundation of Western societies is individual right. Any Muslim objecting to the use of body scanners always has the individual right to refuse. All he has to do is refuse to fly on a US airline, and find some alternative. I imagine that necessity will soon mandate body scanners for bus and train transportation too (say it ain't so).

This opens up the intriguing enterpreneurial possibility of Arabic-based transportation.

The FCNA, ISNA, CAIR, sure makes their life complicated. Perhaps each group has a top secret "alert" committee when some big red light goes off, and they are officially "offended" when something goes against their counter culture. Well, I find it outrageous that some stranger might be staring at my wife's body, too. However, I suspect that these Islamic "scholars" are more worried about greater difficulties faced by suicide bombers than over female modesty. How refreshing that FCNA makes it clear that Islam is distinct from "religions ... that stand for decency...."

Muslims are the reason we've come to body scanners! Their arrogance is beyond unbelievable, it is insane. If they don't want to submit to body scans, they can walk, swim, crawl, or slither to their terror training camps in Pakistan and their incestuous weddings to child relatives in the islamic netherworld. If we are forced to submit to these body scans while the obvious threats to airline security are exempted for religious reasons, I expect the airline industry will collapse. I will not fly anywhere if muslims are not thoroughly and completely screened and declared free of explosives, poisons, and weapons.

How convenient for muslim terrorists to object to body scans and explosive sniffing dogs on religious grounds. I can't wait to see how this plays out. I don't relish the idea of body scans but I doubt if I would be given any options. I'm not a muslim and I'm not a threat to anyone but I wouldn't be allowed to fly if I refused to submit to the screenings.

I will shortly be departing the middle east to take a short leave and will not be scanned or rubbed down! So what's the point of western airports going through this procedure as nothing would be easier than for a lunatic to take 'something' on his or her person and blow us all up. He/she wouldn't care as paradise awaits - for myself I am not in a hurry! As I frequently fly this route I am constantly amazed and furious at how often muslim women in Amsterdam Schipol Airport at not made to remove headscarves or jackets and yet I just remove shoes, jacket, etc., and I'm white, English, female and 68 years of age. My blood boils every time and if we allow this non-scanning of muslims, then we have only ourselves to blame. I too would like to claim that it is against my Christian religion, as we women are also expected to hide our bodies. Furthermore, I find the whole groping and manhandling and now the scanning simply horrible and utterly undignified, but I would be the loser if I objected whereas some muslim woman would be waved through with a smile. This must not be allowed to happen. The next time I am in line to board my plane and a muslim woman is not made to remove her jacket and headscarf nor put through a scanner, I am ready. These people make me sick as my life has far more dignity than any of these pathetic grovelling creatures. The only hope we have is that muslims will travel less and less to the West and solve the problem for us. And those who are already in the west will hopefully leave and never come back. Happy Days.

Sure it can be, to make things easier on Islamists at security check points, while the rest of us who are not about to do 'blow them up' jihad are subject to rigorous search body scans. Voila! Fait accompli! Muslims sail through security while the rest of us are herded through like cattle.

They (FCNA/MB) have misplayed their hand. How foolish they are. They have lain down a gauntlet that cannot be picked back up.

Remember, this has the effect of a fatwa. They are speaking not only to Westerners but to the Ummah. The Ummah has now been told that it is immodest to go through scanners. They will be looking over their shoulders, now, if they travel and go through a scanner. One presumes the illustrious members of the Fiqh Council also are world travelers, now and again. I can't wait 'til they face their first scanner, and have to struggle with the convenience of continuing their journey, and that irrevocable modesty that judgment cannot influence.

They will see other Muslims submitting to the scanner. They will do it too. Their fatwa falls down, goes boom.

But say they show solidarity, and refuse to go through scanners. They will not fly and the imbroglio that will result will begin to make giant headlines. Airport security is not like footbaths in obscure community colleges...people care deeply.

Let them take their stand and be ravaged by the West, or let them be gainsayed and look impotent and toothless (which they probably are since they're beating their wives lightly with their miswaks).

You know what happens when you put them on trains and buses - you get 3/11 and 7/7. Prison ships staffed with heavily-armed infidel crews is the answer.

I have no problem with people who want to be modest. Frankly, as long as they're law abiding, I don't have any problem with little enclave communities. But Muslims want to be of the world and own it, whereas other sequestered-by-choice-and-creed types are in the world but not of it.

Fine then. Muslims can be scanned with a different technology that does not send imaging data to an LCD. Instead of bouncing high frequency electromagnetic waves off their bodies, they can step outside and get scanned with a few hundred metal BB's from a shotgun. Whether they are carrying bombs are not, they won't be much of a threat after the scan.
