A federal judge said this week that witness intimidation by any party will not be tolerated in a lawsuit involving a charter school accused of illegally promoting Islam.The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Minnesota is suing Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TiZA) for allegedly crossing the line between religion and public education, a claim school officials have denied.
The ACLU argued that administrators at the Inver Grove Heights school have intimidated potential witnesses or tried to dissuade them from testifying about TiZA, and asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeanne Graham to issue an order protecting them.
In an order filed Wednesday, the judge stopped short of granting all of the ACLU's requests, but she said no one should harass or tamper with witnesses. In addition, two prospective witnesses, Khalid Elmasry and Janeha Edwards, may request that only attorneys attend their depositions.
Graham also ordered the ACLU to provide a list of witnesses to opposing counsel.
The school and its lawyers take the ACLU's allegations seriously but do not believe they have intimidated any witnesses, said Shamus O'Meara, lead defense counsel for TiZA.
In a written declaration, Elmasry said he was thinking twice about serving as a voluntary witness because of what he called attempts to discredit and intimidate him. The father of a former TiZA student, Elmasry said he also used to be a board member of Minnesota Education Trust, a group connected to the school....
I think everyone has learned by now that threats & intimidation by islamist are the flavor of the day and if they don't work something a tad more violent may rear it's ugly head.
The question is, who has the cajones to stand up to the intimidation & send a very clear message? ..... "We're sick to death of this b*llsh*t and we're not going to take it anymore!"
The time to put an end to the intimidation tactics & the lying is long overdue.

...this just reinforces to me how frightening it is that so much of this is occurring in my backyard, more or less, and I don't see any locals doing anything about it or even educating themselves on the subject.
How many news items have we had now that have involved the Twin Cities area of Minnesota? Yet everyone I broach the subject with has not bothered researching into anything in the slightest. They simply swallow what the local liberal media, and the local CAIR chapter, tell them.
I've even had one friend tell me that none of the "negative propaganda" about Islam could possibly be true because she knows the nicest Muslim woman who works full time for the local CAIR chapter.

Sadly, that would put the average modern American to sleep.
Referring to "Gibraltar", and saying he "defeated the Visigoths" means little to most Westerners today—it might be clearer to say he *subjugated Christian Spain*.
Islam eventually lost Spain—"al-Andalus"-and has been chafing at it ever since. After more than five centuries, they *still* consider it Dar-al-Islam.
This school wasn't casually named for Tarek ibn Ziyad. What he is known for is the *Islamic conquest of the West*—and that is the message the young pupils of this Islamic "academy" are supposed to take from their namesake.
That there is Muslim intimidation of witnesses in this case depresses and alarms me, but comes as no surprise. It *is* good to see the ACLU taking a principled stand for once.

I live in Minneapolis, the muslims here are mainly Somali and they have NO interest in the west. There is a Halal market next to a Vietnamese restaurant I like to eat at for lunch. I asked the owner if the muslims eat there, he said never, the owner of the Halal market won't even speak with them, they said the Halal market said they were unclean because they serve pork and want nothing to do with them. This caused me to notice, I never see muslims in most of the restaurants around town. I have yet to see one in the past month since I've been watching. They refuse to assimilate.
Also, they have their own center, their own tutoring program, their own language classes, and cultural liaisons to the schools. No other group has this! Also they are always scream islam this and that. Yet, the places I do see them at are not very islamic, like the casino gambling away. They used to use the local library as a community center, it was so loud there, forget about reading a book and they used to surf the Internet for porn all the time. It got so bad that they cops now patrol the library, never had that before and they put restrictions on computer use in the library, again, never had to do that before. The problem in Minnesota is two fold:
The Somalis are a backwards culture with a backwards fake religion, islam. These people as a group are the biggest racists, bigots and sexists I have ever met. They hate everyone who isn't like them and if a Somali becomes too westernize, they no longer are considered Somali among the Somali community. There is also a slave class in the Somali culture, these people are treated worse than dirt by other Somalis, why are we importing this crap into our country?!?! They are cheap to the core as well, they always want to break contracts and not pay. The state of Minnesota is very much into political correctness and what they think is multiculturalism, which really means, let anyone who is a minority get away with anything they want. The state gave them, free housing, free food, medical, schooling, you name it! Now these people think everything should be handed to them! When you tell them to work, they get mad at you and start their muslim victim nonsense.
The kids go around causing problems, the adults are not much better. They always claim they don't have money to buy our products and we should either just GIVE it to them or ask the state to cover the cost. Um, no! But they have money to go on month long trips to Dubai.
I used to not care, they were annoying, now that I have to deal with them, I realize there is a really bad and growing element in the local muslim community, I'm afraid Minnesota is going to learn a very hard lesson in the near future.
I live in Minneapolis and have had similar observations.
I also used to work with some people in their community. They would often use a technique to get out of work: they would do things painfully slowly and incorrectly until those around them would get frustrated and take on their workload for them. They would never be fired, for the usual reasons - racism, sexism, islamaphobia, etc. Those terms would get thrown around whenever poor work performance came up.

It is strategically feasible and smart, as well as being a small, inconvenient annoyance in comparison to the enormous winnings. Can you imagine the amoral audacity of being part of a movement to take over civilizations for which you have done nothing to add to their growth and progress?
