Comments by David G. Littman - NGO Representative of the Association for World Education (AWE) and the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) to the United Nations in Geneva:
Robert Spencer's "Islamic Nazis" is a very welcome reminder of what's on the horizon for us all.In his recent idiocies at a ceremony held for a book titled Civilizations, Nomadic Migrations, Empires and The Trail of Islam at the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur, former Prime Minister Mahathir bin Muhammad seriously referred to the 9/11 Jihadist horror jokingly, with the following comments :
"The way the tower came crashing down was also funny (...) I have great respect for the Arabs but for them to hijack four planes is not very Arab. Just imagine the amount of planning that would be involved." Rejecting any claims that he was being insensitive to the victims, Mahathir stressed that he was "being more sensitive to the victims" as he was simply saying the attacks were carried out "deliberately." He also said that his views about how 9/11/2001 attacks were carried out would not affect Malaysia's chances of attracting foreign investment. "I have said this many times even when I was the prime minister. But we still have the foreign direct investment. However, we cannot rely on foreign direct investments alone. We must build on our own system," he said.On several occasions I have denounced, at the UNCHR, the crass lunacies of Mahathir bin Muhammad - but no condemnation emanated from the 'international community's conscience of the world'. Below is an extract from WUPJ's Appeal to Acting High Commissioner for Human Rights Bertrand Ramcharan, which I drafted 6½ years ago, having raised the matter earlier in an oral statement at the UN Commission on Human Rights. Rabbi François Garaï and I signed it and The National Review reprinted it in Oct. 21, 2003.
URGENT APPEAL
To Acting High Commissioner for Human Rights Bertrand Ramcharan
on Prime Minister Mahathir bin Muhammad's Madding Judeophobia
(...) In fact, Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad was simply true to form. Already in October 1986, a day after PLO-dissident Abu Nidal's killers massacred 23 Jews at worship in Istanbul's "Gates of Peace" synagogue (Neve Shalom), he told the 101-Member Movement of the Non-Aligned countries (Harare, Zimbabwe): "The expulsion of Jews from the Holy Land some two thousand years ago and the Nazi oppression have taught them nothing. If at all, it has transformed the Jews into the very monsters that they condemn so roundly in their propaganda material. They are apt pupils of Dr Goebbels." (New York Times / IHT - October 8, 1986).On that occasion also, not one 'Non-Aligned' delegation reacted. Two months later Malaysia inaugurated an "Anti-Jews Day" (New York Times, Dec. 8, 1986), and during his State visit to Great Britain in July 1987 he again affirmed: "The Jews have been apt pupils of Dr. Goebbels." In March 1994 Schindler's List was banned in Malaysia - on the grounds that it was "Jewish propaganda." In 1997 he blamed the Asian financial crisis on the "Jews," explaining his views: "We are Muslims, and the Jews are not happy to see Muslims progress."
"We are Muslims, and the Jews are not happy to see Muslims progress."
Another muhammadan bullshit artist.
How about:
"We are muslims, and muslims are not happy to see Jews progress."
He also said that his views about how 9/11/2001 attacks were carried out would not affect Malaysia's chances of attracting foreign investment. 'I have said this many times even when I was the prime minister.'" -- from the article above
Oh no?
Take away the Hindus and the Chinese, and what would be left of the Malaysian economy? Take away the foreign non-Muslim investors, and the Hindus and the Chinese, and what would be left?
"Muslim" Malaysia prospers almost entirely on the brains and the backs of non-Muslims, some of whose wealth is transferred-- a disguised Jizyah -- through the Bumiputra system. The real "Sons of the Soil" -- the Dyaks and other tribes, are pagan or Christian, and systematically have their lands taken away by the Muslim Malays.
That's Mahathir bin Muhammad's Malaysia.
I don't know if this vile anti-Semite travels a lot but he should be banned from coming to any EU country.
Having said that, I don't know, he would be quite welcome by some in UK's Trade Union Congress, NUJ, Students Union at Oxbridge etc. and indeed may even be invited to become a contributor on Guardian's Cif.
"The way the tower came crashing down was also funny...
The one statistic I would love to know, that of course we never can or will know is: how many of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims felt a feeling of excitement or joy the moment they first heard about or watched the plane crashing into the World Trade Center on 9/11? My guess is it was an overwhelming majority. Coptic friends in Egypt, where I moved the following year, described scenes in Egyptian villages of Muslims passing out the candy on the street that is customarily passed out in wedding celebrations.
The author of "The Reluctant Fundamentalist", a book I discuss at the link below, describes the joy his main character felt when he heard the news. At least the author was honest enough to admit it (I assume this was also his feeling). How many hundreds of millions shared those same feelings?

"How about:
"We are muslims, and muslims are not happy to see Jews progress."
Exactly. 100% correct.
From the jihadwatch archives, a small piece of evidence concerning the behaviour of Arab Muslim tourists in *the Czech Republic* (at a historic spa village), when the news of September 11 came through:
Here's the link:
http://www.jihadwatch.org/2004/07/czech-mosque-plan-raises-protests.html
And here, for those without the time to click, is the pertinent section:
'TEPLICE, NORTH BOHEMIA: Milos Kejzlar angrily recalls the reaction of visiting Arabs in Teplice following the events of 9/11.
'"*The people of the town were very surprised to see a great number of Arabs here celebrating in the parks and the restaurants after they learned what happened in the U.S.,"* {my emphasis added} he said, downing shots of slivovice at his well-kept house in a leafy suburb.
'Shocked by some Arabs' response to the destruction of the World Trade Center and flooded by constant media coverage of terrorist plots, Kejzlar concluded that a mosque a few blocks from his home was a bad idea.
'"It seems that terrorism often springs from those who gather at the mosques and from those who preach from them," said the 41-year-old high school math teacher."
The article also elucidates re the number of Muslim tourists in the town - "thousands of Arabs, mostly Saudis,... seek extended medical treatments in this historic spa town [Teplice]".
One may note that although the Prague Post report, above, speaks of "*some* Arabs' response to the destruction of the World Trade Centre', the opening of the article spoke not of 'some' but of 'a great number': "a great number of Arabs here celebrating in the parks and the restaurants".

The U.S. State Department has said that the arrest “raises serious questions and concerns.”
I had an "interesting" enounter today with a Muslim customer at my local Starbuck's, where I was sitting and studying volume four of the Sahih al Bukhari. He asked me what I thought of Islam and I responded by relating some of the disturbing things I was finding in the hadith. He pointedly said that the hadith are NOT Muslim and that they do not represent Islam. I responded that they, along with the Quran, formed the core of Sunni Islam. He then stated that "the Jews" wrote these things to cause strife between "everyone" as he put it as "they" want everyone fighting one another. I pointed out the books were printed in Saudi Arabia, are overseen by orthodox Muslims from a Wahabi university and that "the Jews" have absolutely nothing to do with the Sahih al Bukhari.
After about ten minutes of discussion with this mental midget I gave up trying to be reasonable and just walked away.
Jim.
Well done. And thanks for sharing your story. One more small addition to the data pile.
Looks like you just encountered a live demonstration of three major tactics of Muslim Argument 101: 1. Deny, deny, deny, even with hand up to the elbow in the cookie jar 2. Lie, lie, lie 3. Scapegoat other people - preferably the Jooz.
I'm only surprised your interlocutor didn't also attempt some Tu Quoque.
