Miami: Funding Hizballah with Playstations

Raising hundreds of millions of dollars for the jihad. "Feds Say Men Funded Terror With Playstations: Here's betting ICE agents said, 'Game over,'" by Janie Campbell for NBCMIami.com, February 20 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Cue the sad noise when Mario dies by mushroom: federal agents have charged three Miami businessmen with conspiring to smuggle videogame consoles to a shopping center in Paraguay that funds political terrorist group Hezbollah.

Khaled T. Safadi, Ulises Talavera, and Emilio Gonzalez-Neira were arrested Thursday following a nearly three-year investigation of their Miami-based export and freight-forwarding businesses. ICE agents working with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force say the three falsified invoices and export paperwork and used a network of fake addresses to mask the true destination of thousands of Sony cameras and Playstations: the Galeria Page Mall in Cuidad del Este.

The U.S. Treasury has identified Galeria Page as the headquarters for Lebanon-based Hezbollah in the tri-border region of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay; they say the manager pays a regular quota to Hezbollah based on the center's sales.

Federal prosecutors say wire transfer payments to the Miami shippers from their contact at Galeria Page, Paraguayan national Samer Mehdi, were routed through various other business to conceal their origin. Mehdi has also been charged but remains at large.

A source said the alleged smuggling ring made "hundreds of millions" of dollars for Hezbollah....

Ahem...Can we say RICO, boys and girls? I thought we could!
Too bad no one else will.

I hope the American security services, and those of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay, are not only closely monitoring the Arab populations in that tri-border region that is so often mentioned as a center for Hezbollah, but doing more - doing whatever can be done to make things most unpleasant, disruptive, and dangerous for Hezbollah and its supporters in that area, and elsewhere in Latin America. There may be insufficient anxiety about Islam in South America, which is far better able to stop things early, but that anxiety can come from a glance at what has happened to the countries of Western Europe. Our Good Neighbor Policy, updated for the time, should be directed at helping the countries of Latin America defend themselves adequately. They are not nearly as hampered by some of the inhibitions that hamper our efforts, and that -- in this case -- is a good thing.

And this is only the tip of the tip of the iceberg. Hezbollah sleeper cells and suicide bombers are everywhere among us in this country, throughout the US, waiting for the portable Iranian nuclear weapons to be smuggled in. And our cowardly government does nothing against Iran. In total paralysis of unsurmountable, debilitating, pathological cowardice.

Ruslan Tokhchukov, EnragedSince1999.

The US has been studiously ignoring jihaddi advancements in South America for years -- particularly in the 3 border region.

Everybody knows whats going on.

Everybody that is, except those who depend on the American legacy media for their news.

It would be a scandal if there were anybody around with the sense or sensibility to be scandalized.

As matters stand, it's just another failure.

Mediocrity in action.

At least our FBI guys got a couple of their local reps.

The guys at the top don't care. Ours or theirs.

The perfect match between narco-terror and Jihad.

You are so right there Ruslan Tokhchukov. While three Presidents have basically looked the other way as to what Hezbollah and Iran are slowly doing. 99% Of Americans do not know that Shia Muslims are slowly emigrating to South America. In addition, American Border Agents are apprehending more men of Middle Eastern decent along our porous border. Canada is experiencing a increase in emigration of Muslims. Is it a coincidence? I think not. America must remember, we are Iran's enemy, they want us destroyed.
