MPAC-Ireland website hosting mysterious "Muslim Defence Force" link

The plantations of Edmund Spenser's day, Dark Kathleen, Roger Casement, Michael Collins, everything that has to do with England's rule -- well, compare whatever English rule over Ireland meant to what the islamization of Ireland, England, and the rest of Europe, will mean for the civilisation of Ireland and the Irish. For now the chief weapons are not terrorism, but rather deployment of the Money Weapon, campaigns of Da'wa, propaganda, and armies of Western hirelings who help keep the uninformed and unwary somnolent or even, in some cases, positively indignant not at aggressive Muslim invaders but,rather, at those who express their own well-informed alarm at the presence, behavior. Ultimately the weapon is simply one of numbers: demographic conquest, as Houari Boumedienne, Muammar Khaddafy, and Muslims all over the place so confidently write and speak of, if only more people paid attention to what they say, and not even hidden from view. You can have a historic resentment of the British if you wish, or fret about others -- for example, those Germans who bought up so much of the Irish coast in the 1960s and kept the native Irish out -- but these are not problems on the same scale or of the same kind. Those in the Irish press, radio, and television who continue to offer and promote, sometimes inadvertently, a curiously islamophilic point of view, have to be driven out of their positions of influence and authority, and replaced by those who understand what is going on, at this time of the breaking of nations.

Ireland: remember Baltimore!

Islam has not changed, since 1631. The jihad doctrine which animated the Muslim slave-raiders who fell upon the village of Baltimore by night, has not changed; indeed, it has been reanimated in full force.

Mohammedans in general have not changed since 1631, as regards their attitude toward non-Muslims and toward non-Muslim lands.

Ireland: it's not too late. You have far fewer Mohammedans as yet within your gates, than many other European countries. Keep it that way. I had a cursory look at the mpac site. It has a self-explanatory motto and guiding principle: "Putting the Green back in Eire".

It goes on to declare its aim, using a Template much in evidence globally. All one has to do is replace Ireland with the name of another country and use it to flay the policies of the Kuffar government and inevitably portray the Muslims as victims there:

Males and females will be segregated and the females will be accompanied by a 'chaperone' at all times.

Does anybody doubt that extreme islamism is unappeasable in the same way that Soviet Communism or German nazism was. Withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq and all will be well , coo the "useful idiots" flacking for jihadism?(pace The new Statesman which had a a cover story on Islam which made no reference to "dhimmitude" and other salient issues). I was reminded of what Stalin's prewar Foreign Minister Maksim Litvinov said when asked during the early years of the Cold War what would happen if the West granted all the Kremlin's demands? Within 24 hours, Litvinov replied succintly, the West would receive a new set of demands. Islamism has the same attitude!

With all due apologies to Terrence and other JW readers who may live there, Ireland has become myopic. Despite the Celtic Tiger (which is now in serious condition), the Irish have long seen themselves as the underdogs of Europe. This has fueled a worldview that believes the Palestinians in particular, and Muslims in general, are worldwide underdogs to be sympathized with.

Many do not know about the howls of protest against US troops transiting Ireland on the way to Iraq or Afghanistan. There were attempt to refuse refueling to US troop carrier planes, even in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.

The Irish press is wholeheartedly leftist. The average Paddy gets his tv news from the BBC and Sky News. 'Nuf said.

The Irish pushback against the Catholic church for the child abuse of the last few decades seems to play into the same vein and somehow evoke even more sympathy for the poor downtrodden Muslims worldwide.

Being an EU country, being a disarmed and politically cowed people, and being is a severe economic bind does not bode well for Ireland's ability (and its leaders' desire) to keep back the militant Muslim hordes. I truly wish it were not so. This is NOT a rant against the Irish people. They have the commons sense and will to resist, but they have been led down the garden path by their media and political leaders.

Anyone reading the Irish press (and other media) will agree with the poster above that most of it covers the Middle East, and the subject of Islam, in a way that is sickeningly familiar to those who read, in England, The Guardian or who listen, gritting their teeth, to the BBC World Service's coverage of the same topics. But there are some remarkable exceptions. For example, Kevin Myers of The Irish Independent.

And there are complicated reasons for this having to do with dislike of Great Britain, a misunderstanding of who is the "underdog" in the Middle East (it's not the "Palestinians" who are merely a subset of the Arabs, and who were only named and their "identity constructed" for propaganda reasons after the Six-Day War) and what that endless war, that Jihad, is all about. Though there are Irish priests (some via Boston College) who have helped educate Arabs in -- many of the most important Iraqi leaders attended Baghdad College, run by Jesuits -- not all of whom have felt as keenly as they should the horrific situation of Christians in Arab, or rather Muslim, lands.

Even the scandal about the Church (sexual misbehavior of all kinds, covered up for decades) has helped, in a way, the forces of Islam, or of apologists for Islam. For that scandal has helped to create an atmosphere of general equal-pox-on-your-houses where fury over Vatican inattention replaces, or perhaps prevents, a clear-sighted fury and anxiety about aggressive Muslim behavior, and continued settlement, within Ireland as elsewhere in Western Europe.

The countries of the West share some mental weaknesses that inclure various Idols of the Age, but they also exhibit specific pathologies that may reinforce, or that are played upon by Muslims or their supporters to reinforce, inattention to that which most menaces, and permanently.

Unfortunately many little Irelanders hate 'Colonel' Myers' guts and dismiss his views because they see him as a West Brit or indeed, a full Brit. A so-called Plastic Paddy. Of Irish parentage, his father a doctor, he was brought up in England and educated in an English public school. This disqualifies him. They don't like having a light shone on them by someone they regard as an Brit outsider and he will never be seen as Irish. Nor do many appreciate hard, unPC truths. (He can go over the top sometimes though,IMHO,he is certainly no shrinking violet.)

Also, the paper he writes for, the Independent, is nowadays considered a rag by your Irish Times reader.

But he does make people think.

What does MPAC stand for? A wretched site. Everyone in Ireland needs to look at it to see the threat Islamification would pose to that nation. I have Irish genes on my mother's side and English ones on mt father's side. It pains me to observe Irish politics. No country (certainly no Western one(has a more dishonourable past.
Ireland rejected the Reformation, has hated England to the point of collaborating with Spain and France. Germany was their hero in the two world wars of the the 20th century. This anti-Britishism has now morphed into ant-Americanism. After the collapse of East Germany the IRA sent people to Libya for training, then sent them to Iran.
The tragedy of Ireland and it's danger to freedom continues. Should I damn the Irish or weep for them?
