Save My Father Hector Aleem
by Mehwish Aleem
At a time that the United Nations calls Switzerland's ban on new minarets "clearly discriminatory and deeply divisive," and the whole world is condemning the Swiss for their vote, I would like to bring to the attention of the world my plight.
My name is Mehwish Aleem and my father (Hector Aleem) is a human rights activist in Pakistan. He has been working as a human rights activist since 1996. He is running an NGO with the name of PEACE WORLDWIDE. Hector Aleem has worked for Christians and Muslims without prejudice. But today he is in jail and could be killed at any time.
My father was working for a church destroyed by CDA (capital development authority) in Islamabad Pakistan. The church was destroyed because according to CDA it was built illegally. The charge was false.
There are many mosques in Islamabad (the capital of Pakistan) that are built with no permit, but no one will dare to touch them. For example, there was a vacant lot near my house and a Maulvi (Muslim leader) started to build a mosque on it. The land belonged to an absentee owner. When the owner learned about it, he started to destroy the illegally built mosque on his property. Hundreds of Muslims rioted and threatened to kill the owner of the land. As the result he give up his land in order to save his life. The government did not intervene. Churches on the other hand are destroyed by the governments' own agents.
When Hector Aleem objected to the destruction of the church he faced with several lawsuits ranging from fraud to criminal charges. He fought all of them in the courts and proved his innocence.
His opponents tried to assassinate him several times. The Maulvies threatened him that if he continues to work for the church they would kill him and his sons, and would force his dughters to convert to Islam.
During this time Hector Aleem received a Peace award by Mr. Yousaf Raza Gillani the prime minister of Pakistan. One month later, on 21st January, 2009 he was arrested by the police. They severely beat him and tortured him mentally and physically. After 24 hours of not knowing what were the charges, we were told that his offence is blasphemy, a charge that caries death penalty in Pakistan.
According to the first information report someone sent a blasphemous message to a leader of Sunni Tehreek (a Muslim extremist organization) and that sender had once contacted my father. So my father is guilty by association. Since they could not find the offender, they arrested my father.
Hector Aleem, is 51 years old and is a heart patient. He is not allowed to take his medication and is denied visitation. During his trial a large mob gathered in front of the court chanting slogans against him and threatened the judge that if he releases my father they will kill him themselves and they will destroy the court and will also kill the judge and the lawyer who defended my father. Under the mob's pressure, the judge refused bail. The lawyer of the plaintiffs, who is a Maulvi, told the judge that if he releases my father, he (my father) will be killed as soon as he steps outside the court.
Then on 24 June 2009, chief justice of Pakistan Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Chaudry granted my father bail, but the Maulvies lodged many other criminal cases against him so that he cannot come out.
Hector Aleem is still in jail. It is one year since his capture. The police are in cahoots with the Maulvies. Once two policemen went to my father's cell and told him that even if he is granted a bail they will not let a blasphemer out. They will lodge so many cases against him that he will not be able to bear them. Soon after that they proceeded to lodge more charges against my father. They used to take him to the police station every fifteen days, where they beat him and torture him in front of the Maulvies and the Taliban.
I am begging for help. I plead to all those who champion the right of Muslims to build more minarets to also care about the minorities in Islamic countries. We are fighting for our lives. Are Muslim minarets more important than our lives of non-Muslims?
Please sign my petition. Please write to the Pakistani authorities listed bellow and ask them to release my father Hector Aleem as soon as possible. He is not guilty of any crime and the accusations of blasphemy that are made against him are false. They want to destroy him because he objected to the destruction of a church.
Today, all our family is in hiding. All of us have received death threats. My siblings and I have left our studies and hide for our safety. There is no future for us in our country. If my father is released he will be killed by the mob. We need to get out of Pakistan. Please help us if you can. We don't know where to turn and whom to ask for help.
There is so much hoo-ha about the ban of minarets in Switzerland, but will anyone hear our cry?
Please make our cry reach to the ears of those who care more for human life than building minarets. We have done nothing wrong. Our only crime is to be Christians in an Islamic country.
Please contact these authorities and tell them to release my father. They know Hector Aleem is innocent, they are afraid of the mob. Your concern will give them the excuse to act.
Please also sign this petition
Please digg this article so it can be read by more people. The more people know about it and write to the Pakistani authorities, the more are the chances that my father is set free.
Thanks you for your concern.

Turning this situation around, if an Infidel objected to the destruction of a mosque, would that warrant an arrest or a commendation?
Who Said What - Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Confucius and Mohammed Sayings to Get a Feel For the Various Religions
I don't envy those who have to live under Islam. What an unjust, lawless, medieval system! No kind of democratic values.
A totalitarian system.
They expect people in the free world to submit to such a system! How delusional can the Islamists be!This system is on par with Nazism and Communism.
Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, General Petraeus all have it within their power to save the life, and the lives of the family, of Hector Aleem. Whether or not any of them cares enough to save his life, to get on the phone and deliver an umistakable message to the head of the Pakistani military, to make sure that not a hair on the head of Hector Aleem or any member of his family is not, at this point, known. By their act, or by their failure to act in this case, shall we know them.
More Islamic intolerance. More evidence of a double standard. More-thug like behavior in an Islamic land. More bastardization of justice. No true reciprocity. Hysterical reactions from Muslim mobs. Same old same old.
Interesting and elucidating how defensive Muslims are about anything that in any manner impedes or thwarts Islam, no matter how minor, or even, often times, when no impediment whatsoever exists but is only imagined (Muslims imagine a lot which isn't true). If this isn't evidence of a failed ideology, one that will not allow for open debate and a real exchange of ideas, what the hell is? As AlaskanInfidel has written many times, Islam is a lie and truth is killing it. Unfortunately, before Islam does die the ideological death it so richly deserves, many people will suffer untold miseries PRECISELY because Islam continues to exist. Again, damn Mohammed. How fitting if Dante was correct where he put him.

I agree. I would add the addresses of the above to the list. Pressure from the West is one of the few things that can save this man.
Given the intense danger Hector Aleem is in, he needs not only to be released from jail, but for him and his beleaguered family to be allowed to leave the country. Personally, I think they'd be a fine addition to the West.
Pakistan's loss, though they will never know it.
The Copts started a ball rolling, with their protest marches recently.
Pakistani Christian refugees now living in free non-Muslim lands need to emulate the Copts. Indeed, they should be joining forces with them, and with other victims of Jihad and Sharia; with all those who are tormented and trampled on daily by the psychopathic supremacists of Islam.
It seems to me that it is long past time for protest rallies to be held on behalf of the Christians - and Hindus and Sikhs - of Pakistan, and on behalf of the Christians, Hindus and Buddhists of Bangladesh. Things are just as bad for non-Muslims in Bangladesh, as in Pakistan.
Regular, loud, large protest marches in Western capitals and major Western cities - Washington, Canberra, London, Montreal - to proceed to the embassies of the assorted offending Muslim countries, and thence to the Foreign Affairs/ State Dept HQ and, indeed, the seat of government of the non-Muslim nation in which the protest is taking place, need to start happening.
The Muslim embassies in every capital city of every free non-Muslim land should find themselves being picketed repeatedly and determinedly by large crowds accurately and forcefully naming them as the amoral psychopathic supremacists that they are.
Imagine if there were some kind of sit-in or other protest outside the Saudi embassy, the Pakistani embassy, the Bangladeshi embassy, the Iraqi and Iranian embassies, the Sudanese embassy, the Emirates embassy, the Egyptian embassy, the Indonesian embassy, the Malaysian embassy, every second Sunday or even just once a month. With placards referring to specific cases of sharia-sanctioned cruelty inflicted on the non-Muslims; and citing the Islamic texts that prescribe and commend those ugly acts.
I don't live in Canberra, so it's easy for me to talk, but surely a fleet of protesters on bicycles towing sandwich board placards on little bike trailers could do the rounds of every Muslim country's embassy in town. Stop outside each one and tell them loud and clear: we know what you're doing, you evil imperialist oppressors, and we know why you do it...because your abominable Koran and Sira and Hadith and the execrable example of your meshuggana 'prophet' tells you you can and you must.
In a sane world, the heads of government of every free country would be hauling the Pakistani ambassador to their country onto the carpet over the case of Mr Aleem; and they would know all about taqiyya and would therefore listen steely-eyed and unmoving to whatever lies and denials were produced by way of response to their inquiries.
So many ghastly reports of human rights abuses by the average Muslim-in-the-street against the indigenous non-Muslims are pouring out of Pakistan and Egypt nowadays, that at the least, the persistence and manifest escalation of these abuses should be cited as cause for a drastic reduction in 'aid', and a complete stop to the immigration of any more Pakistani or Egyptian Muslim into the free non-Muslim lands. Who wants to let into our country a Pakistani Muslim who quite probably, in his country of origin, may have formed part of a mob setting fire to churches or howling outside a courtroom for the blood of somebody like Mr Aleem?
Question: what free country will pointedly offer Mr Hector Aleem and his family asylum?
In the meantime: Pakistan doesn't export anything much, but whatever it does export to the West, can be boycotted by us ordinary consumers. I have seen Pakistani rice in Australian supermarkets - I *don't* buy it, just like I refuse to buy Turkish figs or apricots.
Is there independent verification of this? While I can (sadly) believe it is so, to my cynical ear the tone of it is rather close to a 419 scam letter.
Americans have got to start doing something about other nations warring against Christians. Lets hold back the money we give to the pakistan government every year. Millions, and millions, and millions.....,.use it for day-caring the children of the broken families of Amerika......hear that ...'bama-dude?
Stop giving money to anti-christian countries like pakistan and turkey....and egypt and iraq and syria and jordan and these groups like hamas and fatah. Phuk them all. Like they do to their little boys. Their little ...smooth-skinned boys....
I doubt this is a scam. There's corroboration here:

Dear me, where are all those soi-distant liberals who tut-tutted over the "blasphemous" Danish cartoons or the "offensive remarks" of Pope Benedict XVI now???
Terry
Gregory, I have a better idea. Instead of day-care, where the blowsy redheaded cashier at the corner grocery will, for $0.65 more per hour take better care of your kid than the typical American mother will, let's make the USA a better target for investment, get the economy humming again, and make it possible for more and more families to live on only the MAN's income. And, while we're at it, ship all the whining sodomites to the Muslim world, where they can enjoy their sexual preference among those who have perfected it to high art.
Please provide the emails of Pakistan Army who are the real rulers of Pakistan. The President and Bilawal Bhutto may be willing to listen. But, they would be vetoed by the Pakistan Army, projecting themselves as Champions of Islamic Might. Matters of Pakistan's identity (Islam), Foreign Affairs and Defence belong to the Army. The civilian politicians can only play the part of the ventriloquist's dummies in these matters.
On the contrary, its far worse than Nazism or Communism. There are far more Islamic states on the planet than what there have ever been Nazi or Communist states, and Nazis and Communists never believed they'd go to paradise if they strapped on the bomb belts and self-detonated in cafes, nor did they ever force their women to go around covered up in heavy black blankets, nor did they force women to stay indoors unless accompanied with a male.
