Pakistan: Muslim mob attacks Christians, authorities arrest...Christians

An attempt by Pakistani officials to harass the Christian community. "Unnamed Christians Accused after Muslim Attack in Pakistan," from Compass Direct News, February 26 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

KARACHI, Pakistan, February 26 (CDN) -- In the wake of an attack this week by 150 armed Muslims on a Christian colony in this city in Sindh Province, police have filed a false First Information Report (FIR) against 40 unnamed Christians and arrested five, Christian leaders said.

They said the 40 unnamed Christians in the FIR are accused without basis with beating Muslim men, abusing Muslim women and girls, ransacking Muslim homes and looting expensive items from Muslim homes. The false FIR is designed only to harass the Christian community, they said, adding that the five arrested Christians were visitors to the area - the only ones on the street available for police to summarily round up, as they were unaware of the FIR.

Some 150 armed Muslims assaulted the Christian colony of Pahar Ganj in North Nazimabad, Karachi, on Sunday (Feb. 21), damaging two churches, shooting at houses, beating Christians and burning shops and vehicles after a fruit stand vendor attacked a Christian boy for touching his merchandise.

Christian leaders said Muslim extremists helped gather and inflame the assailants, but they said the fruit stand vendor upset with the 14-year-old Christian boy for touching plums on his hand-pulled cart initially instigated the attack. The unnamed vendor reportedly had a previous conflict with the boy, whose name was also withheld, and in objecting to the teenager's actions he slashed his hand with a fruit knife and threw an iron weight at him, Christian leaders said....

Christians are persecuted and killed by Muslims on a routine basis in Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Turkey; exactly where is this tradition of tolerance that Islam supposedly has?

"exactly where is this tradition of tolerance that Islam supposedly has?"

Non-existent. It's PC MC Propaganda worthy of Goebbels. Propaganda our own president uses to further his goal of Islamizing the U.S.

In the Cairo speech he referred to Islam as "having a proud tradition of tolerance." That is such utter BS, and so easily discoverable as BS, that it has to fall under Goebbel's definition of the "Big Lie." A lie so outrageously false that people think it must be true. Which has to do with human psychology. Perhaps someone can elaborate on that.

When US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pledged Washington's support for Pakistan in its fight against "brutal extremist groups" last fall, I don't suppose she had victimized Christians in mind.

But will the United States, or the West in general, question Pakistan on their persecution of Christians? I wouldn't hold my breath.

I sense a pattern emerging.

All these incidents and the police and politics reaction in Islamic countries should be investigated and reported and laid before Western Muslims and their apologists, concerned friends.

Damned. I just was with an Islam-dialogue in Rotterdam. It went smooth enough. But when one panel-member (Gert Jan Segers) tried to bring international connections into the debate, the Muslim panel member rejected comparisons between Holland and Muslim countries. And the highly multiculturalist Islam-science professor (Maurits Berger) said he only was concerned about our own values, wanting only to talk about them, not those of Saudi Arabia.

Many Muslims, and apologists, will dodge the loyalty-question, most to the Ummah of most to democratic rules, if there is contradiction? Hence loyalty on a national or an international basis?

And where best can you see how Islam works out, except in countries where it has majority and power? Instead of in countries where Muslims are minority and have to adapt to majority and their laws?!

Hence the Muslims will dodge the questions whether it is fair or not that they are treated equally among the followers of the other religions/ way of life but that these are not fully protected in the same way in THEIR countries! They will not tolerate inquiry into this worldwide unbalance! On pain of at least unpleasant or disinterested responses, in effect being totally deaf, unresponsive to this reciprocity-question! Instead harping on how unfair the Swiss prohibition of Minarets and Geert Wilders' suggestion of doing the same in Holland was!

GRRRRR. At times like these I thank God for sites like this.

Darcy, my questions was, of course, rhetorical. I was mocking the assertion made by B. Hussein Obama in his Cairo speech last year.

Back when I was a kid, they told this story:

A dead black man is found outside a small town in the Deep South. The body is bound hand and foot and horribly mutilated with numerous knife and gunshot wounds. When asked to comment, the local sherriff says, "Worst case of suicide I ever saw."

We all thought that such a story reflected the utter shamelessness of a supposedly benighted portion of our country.

It seems, however, when faced with a Dhimmi victim, Muslim authorities say, without any investigation, that it's a case of justifiable homicide simply because the victim isn't a Muslim. It all goes to show that Islamic supremacism is utterly shameless and unmitigated by any sense of moral responsibility to those outside the community.

If there was a real case of rape (rather than hopsitality to Muslimah inquirers into a better religion?), the perpetrator(s) should be arrested. But when Western Muslims complain about how the Netherlanders rally to Geert Wilders becauuse of the deeds of one Mohammed Bouyeri or Kufr Americans get suspicious of their community because of 9/11, they ought to reflect that violence over a doctrine of community responsibility is a common feature of their own societies.

Add to this, all this is over a possible buyer touching plums!
In most of the rest of the world, the vendor would have smiled and said, "____$ per pound, please".

V.S. Naipaul once wrote that India was a "wounded civilization". It seems that Islam is an even more deeply wounded one--one whose belligerency and readiness to take offense probably maskes a very deep insecurity at knowing that it stands for a lie.

Pakistan has been receiving billions -- by now tens of billions -- in aid from the United States. It was American taxpayers who, unwittingly, provided the money that made Pakistan's expensive nuclear project possible. It is now an Administration confused about, and mostly ignorant, about Muslim Pakistan, as it is about Islam, that is fooled again and again by the Pakistani military, as they do the minimum necessary to keep the Americans satisfied, pulling in now this Taliban leader and now that, when they could have done so months or years ago, and General Kayani impresses with his deep voice, and his sincere eyes, and his assurances that he, at the very least he, is someone whom the Americans can trust. And Clinton and Gates and others, who want so much to believe, because otherwise they have no idea what to do, convince themselves that Pakistan is -- whatever may have been the case in the past (the past that goes back a full half-century) -- at long last a true ally, one to be counted on. It's the nonsense as before, and it is based on an unwillingness to stand back, think of what Islam inculcates, understand just why it is that here, and there, but only temporarily, there may be a slight overlapping of interests between, say, a particular regime in Pakistan, or zamindars or generals frightened by aspects of the Taliban's challenge to their own power and wealth, but not to the Taliban otherwise, and not otherwise to any of those who are linked to the Taliban, which is to say, all those, Al Qaeda or not, who take Islam and its anti-Infidel message, so central to it, to heart.

Sorry about the double posting

This happens all over the Muslim-dominated lands. When Copts were attacked by Muslims some years ago, in a village in Lower Egypt, and some killed, the Egyptian police rounded up, and tortured in attempts to wring confessions out of, not Muslims but Copts.

From the article: "the 40 unnamed Christians in the FIR are accused without basis with beating Muslim men, abusing Muslim women and girls, ransacking Muslim homes and looting expensive items from Muslim homes."

Projection. Classic projection; downright clinical. For beating up *non-Muslim* men, abusing *non-Muslim* women and girls, ransacking *non-Muslim homes* and looting expensive items (or, in fact, anything at all that is not nailed down) from those homes, are all things that Muslim mob after Muslim mob has done to NON-MUSLIMS always and everywhere throughout the entire history of the abominable obscenity that is the Empire of Islam.

Indeed, the charges made by the local Pakistani Muslim authorities against the Christians in this case are pretty nearly a straight description of what a 150-person-strong armed Mohammedan mob had just done *to* ...Christians! All the monstrous Muslim liars who concocted the charges left out, was a charge of desecrating mosques, to mirror the reality that the Muslim mob vandalised and desecrated two *churches*...

From the article - "150 armed Muslims assaulted the Christian colony of Pahar Ganj in North Nazimabad, Karachi, on Sunday (Feb. 21), damaging two churches, shooting at houses, beating Christians and burning shops and vehicles" {and does anyone here want to bet that items were NOT looted from the Christian-owned shops?}.

The perverse "blame the victim" mindset blatantly displayed here, as Muslim authorities arrest *Christians* after mobs of screeching Muslims have rioted and destroyed Christian property, and as the Muslim authorities FALSELY accuse the *Christians* of having done to Muslims what the Muslims have just done to the Chrsitians, is exactly the same obscenely evil mindset as we saw displayed in Somalia when a howling Mohammedan mob stoned to death a little girl who had committed the crime of reporting having been gang-raped.

"exactly where is this tradition of tolerance that Islam supposedly has?"

Of course there is a tradition of tolerance among the Muslims. Lately, however, and unfortunately, this tradition seems to be decidedly a minority tradition. Still, examples of this tolerance persist.

Yes, the Taliban obliterated the giant Buddhas. But Egypt still vaunts the pagan pyramids, and hasn't blown up the Sphynx.

There are still Jews in Iran, and I hear they are doing okay. (It's no fun being a Bahai in Iran, however.) There are still Samaritans on that portion of the West Bank sometimes referred to as Samaria. The Druzes are manifest heretics, from a Muslim point of view, and yet they persist on the Golan Heights and elsewhere. The Nation of Islam (Black Muslims), formerly out-and-out heretical and still off the beaten path, are still allowed to worship in Mecca.

Muslim scribes preserved ancient pagan Greek writings at a time when Christian scribes would not. The Crusades enabled the West to rediscover these writings, which lead to the Renaissance. It was the (Catholic) Spanish Inquisition that burned the Mayan Library. (Both proto-Catholics and Muslims, however, may have taken a turn burning the Alexandrian Library.)

When Crusaders arrived in Jerusalem, the Jews (who had hitherto lived in safety among the Muslims) were holed up in their sysnagogue. The Crusaders burned the synagogue with the Jews in it.

Recently, Muslims in Malaysia have taken to attacking and killing Christians with the ridiculous complaint that the Christians are calling God "Allah". (This would not be a problem in any other Muslim country, and "Allah" is the only word in Malasian [or Arabic, for that matter] for God.)

In response to these attacks, Muslim NGO's have volunteered to patrol around Christian sites to protect them. So in Malasia you see both Muslim intolerance and tolerance in action.
