In FrontPage this morning I discuss recent Islamic calls for another genocide of the Jews:
No one told the Islamic Nazis that they lost World War II.The former prime minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, recently asserted that Jews in Europe had "always been a problem." He claimed that "they had to be confined to ghettos and periodically massacred. But still they remained, they thrived...held whole governments to ransom. Even after their massacre by the Nazis...they survived to continue to be a source of even greater problems for the world."
Mahathir won fame in October 2003 for charging that "Jews rule this world by proxy." In the same speech, he lamented that "the Muslims will forever be oppressed and dominated by the Europeans and the Jews. It cannot be that there is no other way. 1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews. There must be a way....For well over half a century we have fought over Palestine. What have we achieved? Nothing. We are worse off than before. If we had paused to think, then we could have devised a plan, a strategy that can win us final victory."
Final victory? A final solution, perhaps? Might Mahathir believe that Jews are due for one of those periodic massacres about which he spoke so approvingly?
In this Mahathir is not alone: several other Islamic leaders have spoken in similar ways recently. On January 29, Palestinian Authority TV, which is controlled by the ostensibly moderate Fatah faction of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, broadcast a Friday mosque sermon containing this reference to the notorious genocidal hadith in which Muhammad said that the end times would not come until Muslims started murdering Jews: "The Prophet says: 'You shall fight the Jews and kill them, until the tree and the stone will speak and say: "Oh Muslim, Oh servant of Allah"' -- the tree and the stone will not say, 'Oh Arab,' they will say, 'Oh Muslim.' And they will not say, 'Where are the millions?' and will not say, 'Where is the Arab nation?' Rather, they will say, 'Oh Muslim, Oh servant of Allah -- there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.' Except for the Gharqad tree, which is the tree of the Jews. Thus, this land will be liberated only by means of Jihad."
Likewise, on January 12, a top Iranian official, Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, declared on Al-Manar TV: "We have manufactured missiles that allow us, when necessary, to replace Israel in its entirety with a big holocaust."
On December 29, an Islamic cleric, Muhammad Hussein Yaaqub, said this on Egypt's Al-Nas TV: "The Jews are our enemies. Allah will annihilate them at our hands. This is something we know for certain. We know this for certain - not because I say so, but because Allah said so. 'You shall find that the people strongest in enmity to the believers are the Jews and the polytheists.'" That is a quotation from the Qur'an (5:82).
Ahmad Al-Barqawi, professor of philosophy from Damascus University, joined the genocidal chorus on Syria TV on December 15, 2009: "If the enemy reaches a stage in which it feels that it is paying a heavy price for its occupation - both in terms of human lives and in terms of resources - it will give up. Without this, there is no chance of reconciliation with the enemy. Therefore, I believe that the annihilation of Israel is easier than reconciliation with it. Annihilating Israel is easier than reconciling with it, because annihilating Israel through a long-term and consistent effort may bear fruit in a society that feels it is alien to this [Arab] world, and does not want to remain in a world that rejects by force."
And on January 5, Yousuf Ahmad, head of Gaza's Al-Faraeen TV bureau, said that Israel was "weaker than a spider web. By Allah, if the Arab nation decided to unite, the state of Israel would automatically collapse." And if that happened, of course, wholesale massacres of Jews would be inevitable. Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal made a similar statement this on Al-Jazeera on December 15: "The resistance on the land of Palestine will be victorious and will drive those Zionists out of our land. We have driven them out of Gaza, even if they continue to besiege it. We will drive them out of the West Bank and all our Palestinian land, Allah willing."
None of this should come as any surprise. The genocidal hadith quoted on Palestinian TV is just one element of an anti-Semitism that is deeply rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah, and which runs through Islamic history with a remarkable consistency. What's more, as Pamela Geller has recently and exhaustively documented at AtlasShrugs.com, the notorious Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, was deeply involved in the planning and execution of the Holocaust in Europe. A great admirer and friend of Adolf Hitler, al-Husseini was involved in massacres of Jews in the Holy Land in the 1930s. And in July 1946 at the Nuremberg Trials, Dieter Wisliczeny, the deputy of Nazi genocidal killer Adolf Eichmann, testified that "the Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan... He was one of Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chambers of Auschwitz."
Al-Husseini was drawn to his role in Hitler's Final Solution by his loyalty to Islamic texts and teachings that demonize Jews and call for their murder. And as Mahathir and the other Muslims quoted above have shown, Muslims are still reading those texts and taking them seriously. The world yawns at this at its own risk.
I always refer to Islam as a "7th century AD Fascist/Nazi political ideology masquerading as a religion."
"Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews..." -- Qur'an 5:82
There's Warlord Mo speaking, the consummate Jew-Hater. The 7th century AD Hitler.
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews and the Muslims will kill them until the Jews will hide themselves behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say: Muslim, the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the Gharqad tree will not say this, for it is the tree of the Jews.
...........................
I just ran across this site, which presents an appalling—and typically Muslim—mix of viciousness, credulity, and blatant ignorance:
http://hamzajennings.com/2009/01/15/the-hadith-of-the-gharqad-tree-and-the-jews/
I'm currently working on an image of "I am a Gharkad Tree" (a protector of Jews and other people under threat from Islam). I'll be posting it soon.
I am the prophet that laughs when killing my enemies.” (Hadith)
And yet the "progressives" (read "regressives") want us to believe that the hate against Jews emanate solely from Israeli occupation of Palestine and its resultant consequences. They're too busy listening to Ed Hussain, Tariq Ramadan, MCB and their ilk to actually pick up the unholy book and read the wrath contained therein for themselves.
If you read the Guardian's Cif you'll realise just how common a currency anti-Semitism has become in the UK. To get your brain back into neutral you have to read Melanie Phillips' blog and others like Cif Watch, Harry's Place etc. otherwise one can easily get caught up in this movement.
I have forever been asking myself just how did ordinary, decent Germans buy into the whole murdering Nazi ideology. Not any more. You just have to pick up a newspaper, listen to news on TV or radio or in Guardian's case, visit a web site and we see the drip drip demonising of Jewish people. And slowly but steadily, people become conditioned to hate Jewish people like a second nature – just like Nazis managed to turn normal god fearing Germans into murdering anti-Semites.
Shalom.
OH ALLAH HELP JIHADISTS TO KILL THE INFIDELS AND RESERVE FOR EACH OF THEM 72 VIRGINS AND BOYS LIKE YOU SAY IN YOUR HOLY BOOK (QURAN 52:24): "And there will go round boy-servants of theirs, to serve them as if they were preserved pearls."
Truly, Islam inspired the Nazis, not the other way around.
Therefore, I believe that the annihilation of Islam is easier than reconciliation with it. Annihilating Islam is easier than reconciling with it, because annihilating Islam through a long-term and consistent effort may bear fruit in a society that feels it is alien to this [Arab] world...
And kufr does feel alien to the Mahoundian world...So alien in fact that annihilation of the 'ideology' of Islam is called for...
Al-Husseini was drawn to his role in Hitler's Final Solution by his loyalty to Islamic texts and teachings that demonize Jews and call for their murder.
For that who haven't yet seen it, Pamela Geller presented a devastating treatise on the Mufti's role in the Holocaust over at Atlas Shrugs about a week ago. The piece is replete with incriminating primary documents and all manner of credible source references.

-- Mohammed talking about himself in a Hadith
You have to admire a man who enjoys his work.
Andrew Bostom a while back ago also unearthed another Hitler-Islam connection:
a Muslim scholar and demagogue by the name of al-Mashriqi (born in 1888), met Hitler in 1926 (at a time when Hitler’s political career was on an upward course and when he had already become leader of the National Socialist party in Germany). This Muslim, al-Mashriqi, founded the Khaksar Movement, an Indian Muslim separatist movement. In one of his writings, he expressed designs that go far beyond a mere regional concern in northern India:
“...we [Muslims] have again to dominate the whole world. We have to become its conqueror and its rulers.”
Al-Mashriqi also wrote:
“The Koran has proclaimed in unequivocal words to the world that the Prophet was sent with the true religion and definite instruction that he should make all other religions subservient to this religion [Islam]...”
Al-Mashriqi also wrote a book called Tazkira which, as Bostom describes it, “produced a quintessential message of Islam enshrining the ideals of militaristic nation-building”—i.e., it promulgated and highlighted the supremacist expansionism through militant means that is essential to Islamic doctrine and Islamic history.
What is startlingly noteworthy about this is revealed in al-Mashriqi’s own account of his meeting with Hitler in 1926:
“I was astounded when he [Hitler] told me that he knew about my Tazkirah. The news flabbergasted me. . . I found him very congenial and piercing. He discussed Islamic Jihad with me in details. In 1930 I sent him my Isharat concerning the Khaksar movement with a picture of a spade-bearer Khaksar at the end of that book. In 1933 he started his Spade Movement. ”

The Boxthorn (Gharqad) is mentioned in the Bible as "besetting the paths of the wicked"
Proverbs 22:5 In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them.
So I guess the tree will protect the Jews as it is found in the path of the wicked.
It's quite a pretty tree - I may plant some to hide my Jewish friends.
The self-appointed prophet always hated Jews, and so do his followers. This will only change when they give up their fascist ideology.
Shalom

What if Allah ain't willing?
In view of the continuing blizzard of blather about the late Pope Pius XII's alleged"indifference" and "silence" to the Holocaust, it is nothing less than a scandal that the role of Haj Amin El-Husseini, the one clergyman who was unambigiously in Hitler's corner( unlike Pius XII) has been swept under the rug-or is drawing attention to him proof of "Islamophobia"???

Here, here!! The best way to defeat is ISLAM is exposing it through freedom of speech. However, that only defeats it in the West. As for the religion itself, a Cold War strategy of 24/7/365 covert radio stations beaming the truth about ISLAM around the world. Start at the fragmented edges where ISLAM does not have absolute control, Africa & India and work in toward the heart. Political activists demanding reparations from Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. for the terror it exports (public shame on all Muslims) AND a TIT-for-TAT strategy of an eye for an eye. Every thim they drop a plane from the sky we militarily blockade the Gulf of Suez and burn a mosque in retaliation. Not popular, but ask the Bosnians how many of their churches have been burned to the ground by Muslims since Bill Clinton bombed the Serbs in Kosovo for over 70 days. They know its a war of cultures. We're still buying in to the "progressive" garbage that it's all about "Israeli occupation" or "poverty". Mohammad Attah (9/11 high jacker) was right when he said, "The enemy is stupid." The truth stairs us in the face and out political elite refuse to see it.
Duh-Swami,
I do not necessarily disagree with you, but at least in part I believe in the message of The Secret: Always primarily focus on what you are FOR, let that which you are AGAINST only be the servant of what you are FOR. And I think that you do not disagree with that necessarily either.
If we were ONLY for annihilating Islam, we might run the risk that, say, Scientology helps us in achieving it, only to impose their own religion on the next generation.
I have been thinking what our side may be FOR, so that the Islamic side can be construed as being AGAINST that which our side wants. So that now we can call them the UNBELIEVERS, from our perspective!
But our side has trouble to enequivocally come up with a comprehensive positive alternative for thoughts and attitude of the current Muslims, that is of more benefit to mankind, in the 21st century. The Muslims seem better in a simple goal they are FOR than our side is.
I suppose our side wants to promote democratic rules, golden rule, human rights, freedom, happiness. And also the autonomy of individual women. I noticed that on Jihad Watch there are so many women participating. They have such a legitimate positive goal, a real Feminist one.
For THAT, yes, I suppose DIMINISHING Islam to a harmless remnant-core of Islam-lovers is a good goal.
Demsci - you have read Oriana Fallaci's "The Rage and the Pride"?
Because she has a pretty good go at defining what 'we' (the entire free non-Muslim world) are "for". (And her last work of all, her memoir, 'A Hat Full of Cherries', was - so I understand, from Mr Fitzgerald - not a diatribe against Islam, but an evocation of Italy, her Italy-of-the-heart, imperfect but passionately beloved).
Oriana, in 'The Rage and the Pride', declares her love for America and her love for Italy (as she does, also, in 'The Force of Reason').
It's not a coincidence, either, that the apostates - the ones I am most familiar with, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Nonie Darwish, Magdi Cristiano Allam, Ibn Warraq - do not simply criticise Islam and describe in scathing terms the ruin that it wreaks in the societies from which they have escaped; they describe also their falling-in-love with western civilisation, and they speak eloquently of the specific places and ideas that have captured their hearts. For example, reading 'Infidel', one gains the impression that Ayaan Hirsi Ali came to *love* the Dutch and their little country that they had won from, and defended against, the terrifying force of the sea. Their courage and persistence as displayed in their history was what first caught and held her attention; she saw, then, and learned to appreciate, their ability to cooperate, to compromise, so different from the all-pervasive Islam-fuelled suspicion and pre-emptive aggression that crippled her own people.
To illustrate what I mean, here is just a part of what Oriana says, in 'The Rage and the Pride', when she describes her refusal to let the Jihad take Italy, Italia bella, Italia bellissima:
"I was born into a landscape of churches, convents, Christs, Madonnas, Saints. The first music I heard coming into the world was the music of church bells.
"Those bells of Santa Maria del Fiore that were smothered by the uncouth voice of the muezzin during the Tent Age.
"And I grew up in that music, in that landscape.
"And it was through that music and that landscape that I learned what architecture is, what sculpture is, what painting is, what art is. It was through that church (which I later rejected) that I began to ask myself what is Good, what is Evil, and by God...
"There: you see? I wrote "by God" again. With all my secularism, all my atheism, I am so imbued with Catholic culture that it’s even part of my way of expressing myself. Oh God, my God, thank God, by God, sweet Jesus, good God, Mother Mary, here a Christ, there a Christ. These words come so spontaneously to me that I don’t even realize I’m speaking or writing them.
" And you want me to lay it all out? Even if I’ve never pardoned Catholicism for the infamies it inflicted on me for centuries, starting with the Inquisition that burned even my grandmother—poor grandmother!—even if I’ve never gotten along well with priests and have no use for their prayers, all the same I really love the music of church bells. It caresses my heart.
"I also love those painted or sculpted Christs and Madonnas and Saints. In fact I have a thing for icons. I also love monasteries and convents. They give me a sense of peace, and sometimes I envy those inside.
"And then let’s admit it: our cathedrals are more beautiful than mosques and synagogues. Yes or no? They’re also more beautiful than Protestant churches. Look, my family’s cemetery is Protestant. It accepts the dead of all religions but it’s Protestant. And one of my great–grandmothers was Waldensian. One of my great–aunts, Evangelical. I never knew my Waldensian great–grandmother. But I did know the Evangelical great–aunt. When I was a little girl she would always take me to her church functions in Via de’ Benci at Florence, and...God, how bored I was! I felt so alone with those faithful who did nothing but sing psalms, that priest who wasn’t a priest and did nothing but read the Bible, that church that didn’t seem like a church and apart from a little pulpit had nothing but a big crucifix. No angels, no Madonnas, no incense. I even missed the smell of incense, and would rather have been in the nearby Basilica di Santa Croce where they had these things. The things I was used to.
"And I’ll say more: in my country house, in Tuscany, there is a tiny little chapel. It’s always closed. No one goes there since my mother died.
"But I go there sometimes, to dust, to make sure the mice haven’t made a nest, and despite my secular upbringing I feel comfortable there. Despite my priest–hating tendencies, I move there with casual ease. And I believe that the vast majority of Italians would confess the same thing. (Even Berlinguer, the head of the Italian Communist Party, confessed as much to me.)
"Good God! (Here we go again.) I’m telling you that we Italians are not in the same position as the Americans: mosaic of ethnic and religious groups, hodgepodge of a thousand cultures, at once open to every invasion and able to stave it off.
"I’m telling you that, for the very reason that our cultural identity is so precise and defined by so many centuries, it cannot sustain a wave of immigration composed of people who in one way or another want to change our way of life. Our values.
"I’m telling you that we have no room for muezzins, for minarets, for false teetotalers, for their fucking Middle Ages, for their fucking chador.
"And if we had room, I wouldn’t give it to them.
"Because it would be the equivalent of throwing away Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, the Renaissance, the Risorgimento, the liberty that for better or worse we fought for and won, our Patria.
"It would mean giving them Italy. And I won’t give them Italy."
END QUOTE.
"It would mean giving them Italy. *And I won't give them Italy* {my emphasis - dda}".
