I had this dream (or rather, nightmare) last night:
I was in a department store shopping for a fragrance. I noticed a selection arranged on a counter. As I approached I saw that a fragrance in a green and black glass bottle was called "Islam."
Not kidding!
Anyway, I was horrified. I found a salesperson and expressed my repugnance. She said, "We have to put it out." Then, a young African-American girl appeared, a teenager, and she swiped it from the counter, and ran off with other African-Americans she was with.
The saleslady started to shout, but I said, "Just let her get it the hell out of here." A sentiment with which the saleslady agreed.
I've been marveling at this dream since I got up. Any comments? I'd say the symbolism is pretty simple.

This is exactly the reason you rarely see (or hear) "moderate" muslims protesting cruelties committed under the sharia.
Stories like the 'honor' killing of a girl buried alive are brushed off as an act of a 'misunderstander'. There is no outright condemnation.
Yet, publish a cartoon mocking muhammad and all muslims collectively find a voice of outrage and organize massive protests, that sometimes ends fatally for any innocent kafir who happens to find himself near.
All muslims who live by the quran are jihadists. That is way of muhammad, their perfect example. The only difference between an islamic terrorist and a 'moderate' muslim is that one uses violence and force to further his agenda, the other uses a disingenuous smile and double talk.

There is only one type of aroma that could emanate from such a "fragrance",
a vile putrid stench!
I suggest reading your Bible before going to sleep this should eliminate any
future nightmares of this type.

That's the first "Islam" dream I've ever had. The contents of the dream indicate to me how deeply committed I am to fighting the repellent lie that is Islam.

Answer: Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) has given some people a greater ability concerning the interpretation of dreams than others. We usually prefer that you find a pious scholar who abides by all the religious injunctions at all times for this type of service. It has been stated that an incorrect interpretation can cause mishap or a negative outcome for the person.
Sayidinah Qatada reports that Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Good dreams are from Allah and the evil dreams are from satan. If one sees a dream which one does not like, one should spit on one’s left side and seek the refuge of Allah from the satan; (spitting 3 times means to resemble the gesture of spitting, not actual splitting with a mouthful of saliva. Such a gesture will help that) it (the dream) will not do one any harm, and one should not disclose it to anyone and if one sees a good dream one should feel pleased but should not disclose it to anyone but whom one loves.(In other words, disclose it only to people that are pious, honorable, etc.)

I don't know if I would go as far as to say Tariq should be banned forever from the US. He says he gave 800 dollars to zakat without knowing the money was channeled to Hamas.
I would argue that Americans seriously need to educate themselves to be able to intelligently challenge what Tariq (and thousands of other Muslims like him)have to say. I'm reading his new book What I Believe for that reason. At a link below I blogged about doing the same with his book In the Footsteps of the Prophet. We must educate ourselves; take the time to seriously read and think about what people such as Tariq are advocating so we can resist it.

What are you planning to do, besides pray? God is our only hope, and I realize that. Are you going to do anything else to prepare?
