Taliban to murder American soldier unless MIT-trained jihadist is released

"Being Muslims, it becomes our religious and moral obligation to help the distressed Pakistani woman convicted by the US court on false charges."

Odd, isn't? The Western media avoids mentioning anything about the fact that Aafia Siddiqui is a Muslim or was influenced by Islamic teachings, as if it were completely irrelevant to her violent actions. Yet at the same time, for the Taliban that's the only thing that matters about her.

"Taliban to execute US soldier if Aafia not released," from the PakTribune, February 5 (thanks to Sr. Soph):

PESHAWAR: The Afghan Taliban on Thursday demanded the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani scientist who has been convicted by the US court on charges of her alleged attempt to murder US soldiers in Afghanistan, and threatened to execute an American soldier they were holding currently. They claimed Aafia Siddiqui's family had approached the Taliban network through a Jirga of notables, seeking their assistance to put pressure on the US to provide her justice.

"Being Muslims, it becomes our religious and moral obligation to help the distressed Pakistani woman convicted by the US court on false charges," said a senior Afghan Taliban commander. The commander, whose militant network is holding the US soldier, Bowe Bergdahl, called our sources from an undisclosed location in Afghanistan and threatened to execute the American trooper if their demand was not met. He claimed AafiaSiddiqui's family had approached the Taliban network through a Jirga of notables, seeking their assistance to put pressure on the US to provide her justice.

"We tried our best to make the family understand that our role may create more troubles for the hapless woman, who was already in trouble. On their persistent requests, we have now decided to include Dr Aafia Siddiqui's name in the list of our prisoners in US custody that we delivered to Americans in Afghanistan for swap of their soldier in our custody," explained the militant commander....

if Israel can be held hostage so can all the Western Nations

More Muslim cognitive dissonance. In response to the "false charge" that Aafia Siddiqui was trying to murder American soldiers, the Taliban intends to—murder an American soldier.

more:

"Justice". If the above is true, it puts her family in rather a different light. Recently, they were claiming that Siddiqui was entirely innocent of any terrorism, and was instead at home playing with her children.

Here's her Boston Imam, Abdullah Faruuq: "She was an American girl. Put that down: Aafia Siddiqui was an American girl."

Maybe so-but what is Aafia Siddiqui's vision of America? Here are her words:

"May Allah give this strength and sincerity to us so that our humble effort continue, and expands until America becomes a *Muslim land*." [emphasis mine. GI]

One of the things she did to facilitate this was to distribute Qu'rans at Boston area prisons. It would take her a few years to graduate to trying to murder American soldiers.

Quotes are from an article entitled—I kid you not—"Who's Afraid of Aafia Siddiqui?", from Boston Magazine from July of 2008.

For anyone who reads the Boston Magazine article I posted a link to above, be sure and check out the comments section—some of them are just terrifying-and probably not regular readers of Boston Magazine.

I agree with you veteran outrage. Now how do we get our politicians to agree to your 5 points?

Any Westerner who fights these savages or who has to be amongst them should be compulsorily microchipped, enabling their GPS position to be known, giving them a chance of rescue by special forces, or failing that, at least a chance to blow up their captors, even though that might well mean the death of the hostage. And no way should we be blackmailed by the neanderthal Taliban savages. The bitch should be executed forthwith. And Pakistan is the planets toilet, with savages to match. All that money given to that craphole, and for what?

Give her an slow-acting and irreversibly fatal dose of something undetectable, host a prisoner exhcange, and smile.

It only works once, but, since they only have one prisoner of ours, who cares?

Israel is held hostage BECAUSE of Western nations, and the stupid political correctness and moral equivalence that holds sway here, and has done for 45 years or more.

I saw a military consultant on FOX several months ago who said that Bergdahl is a traitor and collaborator and that the US military knows it. That he likely willing went over to the other side and that he is not a hostage at all. If the US military knows this even with Obama as commander in chief I doubt they'd turn over a female AQ terrorist for a soldier turned traitor.

"Being Muslims, it becomes our religious and moral obligation to help the distressed Pakistani woman convicted by the US court on false charges."

Isn't it interesting that these guys are so concerned about helping a distressed Muslim woman? What makes her so special? Can't they find any Muslim men that have a brain like hers? And what's she been doing in a lab anyway? Isn't she supposed to be home cooking dinner and servicing hubby?

Islam, the religion of paradox.

It's not conclusive whether or not PFC Bowe Bergdahl is a deserter and traitor.

LT Col. Ralph Peters is the military consultant who you saw on FOX.

Muslim attempts at "prisoner exchange" will exponentially increase for any combatant under civilian jurisdiction. Credit for Obama and Holder.
File under, we are at war, do not release or try until it's over. Military tactics 101.

As with the Somali pirates holding a British couple hostage, it is worth noting that if and when you start paying "Danegeld" you never really get rid of the Dane completely- harsh and callous though this may sound, Obama should call the Taliban's bluff( or if worst comes to worst, leave the kidnapped soldier to his fate).

OMG gravenimage, thanks for that. I have just read (only partially, couldn't stomach the endless rantings) the Boston Magazine article. It is truly scary that something like this is allowed to be published in the free world. The writer and indeed all the rabid islamic commentators should be flushed out and returned to the desert. We will all truly regret becoming Islamic apologists and allowing these beings to live amongst us.

Dear Christian Soldier,
Thank you for the Youtube earlier. Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue by Toby Keith is excellent.

I don't listen to country music much, even tho I really like it. Just too busy with other things, I guess. Was this a recent hit?

Anyway, thanks for sharing that with JW.

On March 24, 2001, Toby Keith’s father, H.K. Covel, was killed in a car accident. The death of his father and the 9/11 attack prompted Keith to write the song "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue,a song about his father’s patriotism and faith in the USA. At first, Keith refused to record the song and only sang it live at his concerts for military personnel.

The reaction was so strong that James L. Jones, Commandant of the Marine Corps told Keith it was his duty as an American citizen to record the song. "It's your job as an entertainer to lift the morale of the troops," Jones said to Keith. "If you want to serve, that is what you can do."

In a 2003 interview with CBS, Keith gave his take on the song: “It wasn’t written for
everybody. And when you write something from your heart - I had a dad that was a veteran, taught me how precious our freedom is - I was so angry when we were attacked here on American soil that it leaked out of me. You know, some people wept when they heard it. Some people got goose bumps. Some people were emotionally moved. Some cheered, turned their fists in the air.”

Toby Keith is a true American patriot and has traveled to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Germany, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Italy, Guantanamo Bay (Cuba), Belgium on his many trips for the USO to bring a bit of home and more to our brave soldiers.

I realize that there are irregularities in the case of Bowe Bergdahl being off-base, but I am not going to jump to the conclusion that this man is a traitor. There is absolutely nothing in his background to imply that this man would collaborate with Jihad terrorists.

Unless I hear something definitive, I am going to assume that this man is an American soldier in the clutches of the Taliban.

Buddica, I'm glad you found the article useful. I love your username—I presume it is a version of Boudicca or Boadicea, the brave queen of the Britons.

"Unless I hear something definitive, I am going to assume that this man is an American soldier in the clutches of the Taliban."

You are absolutely right.

Until it is proven conclusively whether or not PFC Bowe Bergdahl is a deserter and
traitor, we must stand behind him and pray not only for his release but also for PFC Bergdahl's family members and friends.

I am sure that they going through hell knowing that he is in the clutches of these savage barbarians.
