What? No negotiations? Jihad as warfare? Honest Ibe Hooper better catch the next flight to Kashmir -- it looks as if it's filled with Misunderstanders of Islam!
"Kashmir militants vow jihad against Indian rule," from AFP, February 4:
MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan - Pakistani militant leaders vowed Thursday to press holy war to "liberate" the divided Himalayan state of Kashmir from Indian control and called for moral support from Pakistan. They addressed a rally attended by thousands as India proposed foreign secretary-level talks with Pakistan, signalling a breakthrough in relations frozen since the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which were blamed on Pakistani militants.
"The Kashmir issue cannot be resolved through dialogue. Jihad (holy war) is the only solution to free Kashmir from the Indian yoke," said Syed Salahuddin, chairman of the 16-party United Jihad Council.
"I want to tell my brothers across the border that we will remain with you until India quits Kashmir," said Salahuddin, who is also supreme commander of the hardline Hizbul Mujahedin group....
A statement issued after the meeting said: "Jihad will continue until India ends its occupation of Kashmir....
So let me get this straight. If India gets out of Kashmir and Israel gets out of, well, Israel, the Muslims will pack their warbags and leave the rest of the world alone? Somehow I doubt it. Phillipines, Chechnya, Iberia, France, UK, USA . . . can you say CALIPHATE?.
India needs to get real with these islamists and start to expel deport deport these real "warmongering islamists".
It's not only "Kashmir" that those conducting Jihad are after. No one should misunderstand. It's Kashmir -- that part of Kashmir that is Indian-controlled (don't forget the Pakistanis already have part), first, and then it's on to the rest of India, which was once under Muslim control and therefore, of course, simply must be again. It's high on the Muslim To-Do List, along with Israel, Spain (Al-Andaluz), the Balkans, Greece, Rumania and parts of Hungary, any place where the Muslim writ once ran. It's today Kashmir, tomorrow the world.
And what if India did decide to end its "occupation" of Kashmir—would peace ensue? Or would it be on to Jammu, with its thousands of Hindu shrines, and Ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", with its Buddhist culture?
What would life be like for these Hindus and Buddhists under Islam? We only have to look at history to answer this question, and it is not pretty.
And would it stop there, or would it be on to the Indian Punjab? Again, the lessons of history are quite clear here, if Pakistan and local Jihadists sensed India was weak enough.
And the remarks will be ignored.
Kashmir? Isn't that where Islamic Rage Boy™ lives?
Of course, the muslims want kashmir. You see, kashmir is now a muslim-majority state. Of course they would want it.
But, let me explain a little bit of history to the muslims. Back in 1944, there was no pakistan. In kashmir, the Hindu pandits were thriving. Since there was no pakistan and India is there in existence for 1000s of years - yes even when mohammed was a figment of his parent's imagination - you don't have the right to state India has 'occupied' kashmir.
INDIA should be our #1 ally against ISLAM. However, the Muslims have their hands deep in Indian politics, binding the hands of those who would expel the Muslims and unholy ISLAM from India. India would be a world superpower today if it weren't for the backwards influences of ISLAM and its supremicist ideology. India should demand reparations from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia & Iran for the jihad it supports on its soil and go to war to stop it.
"INDIA should be our #1 ally against ISLAM"
Agree, totally.
Yes, the Pakistan has been emboldened by, unfortunately, an experienced economist/bureaucrat but a defient politician in
the present volatile political scenario. This is so due to the compelling compulsions of US to avoid its another Vietnam in Af/Pak. India is being pressurised by Obama to pamper Pakistan.
Don't allow India to be made a scapegoat of Western agendas. In such a complex situation after the stalemate following 26/11, India needs to put up a brave and decisive face, as put up by Bajpaiji. I am talking of personalities, not of political factions. Please do not politicise it in the national interest.
