UK: Muslim police commander used race card to dodge jail for years

How multiculturalism encourages corruption, corrupting the protected class and encouraging cowardice in the enablers of the protected class. "A criminal in uniform: Teflon Commander Ali Dizaei used race card to dodge jail for years. Now he's got four-year term for framing an innocent man," by Stephen Wright and Richard Pendlebury in the Daily Mail, February 9 (thanks to all who sent this in):

He swaggered around Scotland Yard believing he was above the law.

Commander Ali Dizaei bullied, intimidated and threatened anyone who crossed his path.

If that didn't work, the Iranian-born officer accused them of being racist.

But yesterday his reign of corruption came to a dramatic end when he was condemned as a 'criminal in uniform' and given four years in jail for trying to frame an innocent man.

Following a bust-up in a restaurant, Dizaei, 47, told colleagues that an Iraqi website designer had assaulted him.

It was a pack of lies and yesterday, after a four-week trial, a jury took just two-and-a-half hours to convict Dizaei of misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice. [...]

Dizaei, who had been the subject of dozens of corruption allegations during his time in the Met, is the most senior Scotland Yard officer to be jailed since the 1970s. [...]

* Police authority officials had wanted to sack him in a fast-track process last spring but backed down amid fears he would sue for racism - allowing the £90,000-a-year officer to stay suspended on full pay for a further nine months.

After the verdicts, the chairman of the Independent Police Complaints Commission, Nick Hardwick, said: 'Dizaei behaved like a bully and the only way to deal with bullies is to stand up to them.'

If only the Western world as a whole would figure that out.

'He knew where he could push the boundaries, and how to use the Met's fears of appearing racist to make it difficult to investigate him,' Mr Hayman said.

Another former colleague Brian Paddick called Dizaei a 'Marmite' senior officer who divided opinion: 'Many hated him, believing he had "got away with it" because "he was black". But for the Black Police Association, we was their flag-bearer.'...

He isn't "black," for pete's sake. But the UK police seem incapable of seeing things as they are.

For almost a decade, the figure of Commander Dr Ali Dizaei dominated and poisoned race relations within the Metropolitan Police.

His public face was that of human rights champion and defender of fellow ethnic-minority officers against prejudiced white colleagues.

Dizaei felt their pain. After all, wasn't he the most unfairly persecuted 'black' policeman of them all?

In fact, he was simply a self-serving crook; clever conman, bully, playboy, womanising misogynist, serial litigant and liar, who hijacked the issue of race and used it for his own ends.

Under his presidency the National Black Police Association became a useful tool against those who dared cross him.

Dizaei's jailing for corruption yesterday, seven years after being cleared of similar charges, closes one of the most troubling episodes in modern police history. Many viewed the Iranian-born officer as 'untouchable'. Certainly Dizaei himself thought so.

One of the most telling moments in his trial was a witness's account of how the 'Teflon Commander' had shouted at him: 'Do you know who I am? I'm Ali Dizaei. Back off!'

And back off they did, shamefully. Successive Met commissioners, home secretaries and independent police watchdogs were too nervous to take him on because of the race storm he would invoke....

Once, when he was questioned by a senior white colleague, he replied: 'You can't tell me what to do.' 'But I'm your boss,' said the startled superior. 'I have only one boss and that is Allah,' snapped Dizaei, piously....

Piously.

This doesn't remind anyone of the prophet, does it?

Under this breathtaking story the stern "No Commwents" sign is still up as I write this. And this story clearly requires "no comment." The tale alone is quite enough. So this comment is not needed. There is, however, no equivalent in pixels to homely tinta simpatica, and I'm afraid this quite unnecessary comment will, therefore, not do the handsome thing and erase itself. Sorry!

Muslims should not be permitted to be police officers anywhere in the non-Arab world. They are, as a matter of doctrine and practice, unreliable and dishonest.

Check out the photo of him on the Daily Mail link. It's ridiculous that anyone could consider him "black".

'I have only one boss and that is Allah,' snapped Dizaei, piously....

He's unlucky that he didn't get Mrs. Blair as the judge. She would have given him two years probation because he's obviously religious.

I agree with Undaunted...They should also not be allowed in western militaries...

The very idea of a separate "National Black Police Assocation" is worrisome, for it is implicit with all kinds of notions, including complaints to the comically intrusive Race Relations Board in a Great Britain that, in some respects, has gone off the deep end, but if one must have such an organization, why is an Iranian (home of the "Aryans")not only allowed to join but to become President? This is as silly, but apparently just as cleverly successful, as the attempts by the richest countries, per capita in the world, the Arab states of the Gulf -- whose fabulous wealth they have done nothing to deserve, and whose rich lead lives of a decadence no Westerner, not even Bill Clinton or Jack Nicholson, can possibly emulate -- to present themselves as members of the "Third World."

Go ahead, keep the National Black Police Assocation if you must, but for god's sake, keep out Iranians and other Muslims who have no business being there.

Ali Dazei puts me in mind of that "professor of ethnic studies," the one who claimed he was an American Indian in order to grab an academic position for himself that, rightly, should have gone to a real American Indian. And he was denounced by American Indian leaders for his self-promoting claims and masquerade. He was then discovered to be a total fraud, when it came to his "scholarship," and to have been both a plagiarist and a manufacturer of his own "data." He was a large, unpleasant looking man, a bully, a liar, but I just can't remember his name. Can anyone remind me?

Yes, Ali Dazaei used that "power of blackness" to get his way, all kinds of ways. And whatshisname used his pretend-Indianness to get his way. I know it is impossible, still it is fun to think of locking up the two of them in the same cell. Ali Dazaei, and former Professor Whatshisname.

His public face was that of human rights champion and defender of fellow ethnic-minority officers against prejudiced white colleagues.

..................

In many ways, this reminds me of the story—also from Britain—of the "devout Muslim" who was let off by the moronic judge Cherie Blair because he was so "pious"—even after he had fractured another man's jaw.

That other man, from his name, was a fellow Muslim.

Not only do these grotesque "sensitivites" do nothing to protect society at large, in the end they don't even serve to protect minorities—not even innocent Muslims.

The man Dizaei said assaulted him is described as "an Iraqi website designer"—almost certainly, a fellow Muslim.

Dizaei may claim to be a "human rights champion and defender of fellow ethnic-minorities", but this is just a scam to use against the easily guilt-stricken Kufr.

Ultimately, these sort of insane policies open up the whole of society to the depredations of men like Dizaei—including their less aggressive co-religionists.

Dizaei might be off the streets—for now—but how many more are out their like him, allowed to bully everyone around them in the name of "political correctness"?

Mao Zedong (1893-1976) “Liberalism is extremely harmful. It is a corrosive, which disrupts unity…. It deprives the revolutionary ranks of compact organization and discipline.”

Salvador De Madariaga (1886-1978) “The trouble today is that the Communist world understands unity but not liberty, while the free world understands liberty but not unity. Eventually the victory may be won by the first of the two sides to achieve the synthesis of both liberty and unity.”

Alexis Tocqueville (1805-1859) “Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.”

John Locke (1632-1704) “The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but to have only the law of nature for his rule. The liberty of man in society is to be under no other legislative power but that established by consent in the commonwealth; nor under the dominion of any will or restraint of any law but what that legislative shall enact according to the trust put in it.
But freedom of men under government is to have a standing rule to live by, common to every one of that society, and made by the legislative power erected in it, a liberty to follow my own will in all things where that rule prescribes not, and not to be subject to the inconstant, uncertain, unknown, arbitrary will of another man; as freedom of nature is to be under no other restraint but the law of nature.
Freedom from absolute, arbitrary power is so necessary to, and closely joined with, a man’s preservation, that he cannot part with it but by what forfeits his preservation and life together. For a man, not having the power of his own life, cannot by compact or his own consent enslave himself to any one, nor put himself under the absolute, arbitrary power of another to take away his life when he pleases.”

Michel Eyquen De Montaigne (1533-1592) “The principal effect of the power of custom is to seize and ensnare us in such a way that it is hardly within our power to get ourselves back out of its grip and return unto ourselves to reflect and reason about its ordinances…. And the common notions that we find in credit around us and infused into our soul by our fathers’ seed, these seem to be the universal and natural ones. Whence it comes to pass that what is off the hinges of custom, people believe to be off the hinges of reason: God knows how unreasonably, most of the time.”

John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) “The mind itself is bowed to the yoke: even in what people do for pleasure, conformity is the first thing thought of; they live in crowds: they exercise choice only among things commonly done: peculiarity of taste, eccentricity of conduct, are shunned equally with crimes: until by dint of not following their own nature they have no nature to follow: their human capacities are withered and starved: they become incapable of any strong wishes or native pleasures, and are generally without either opinions or feelings of home growth, or properly their own.”
The question is whether there would be any asylum left for individuality of character; whether public opinion would not be a tyrannical yoke; whether the absolute dependence of each on all, and surveillance of each by all, would not grind down into a tame uniformity of thoughts, feelings and actions…. No society in which eccentricity is a matter of reproach can be in a wholesome state.”

Predators attacking a herd use fear and confusion to separate their prey from the defense that the herd holds. It has taken relatively few suicidal Muhammaden heroes in all facets of civilized society to cause this panic in the herd and the consumption of resources due to security measures, war machines, human distractions and suspicions, etc. While we provide excessive attention and resources to these relatively few terrorists, the rest of the Muhammaden Ummah goes undetected in their ‘wolves in the sheep’s clothing of religious diversity. Our current global recession is due in part (what part I am not going to say at this time) to the resources being consumed by putting out Muhammaden fires all around the globe.
Governments in free markets are said to break or try to break the bonds of large corporations into smaller more competitive entities (of course this has not been successful as evidenced by the new term ‘too big to fail’ financial institutions). These governments as instruments of ‘too big to fail corporations and financial institutions’ have also fostered divisions amongst the people that they rule for easier manipulation and diffusion of the unity needed to form an actual ‘people’ that is supposed to be this ‘of the people, by the people and for the people’. We are not those people anymore and it is possible that we never were or only in times of war or crisis. We are divided into kaleidoscopic ineffectual factions.
These are: Christians (Catholics and 38,000 protestant denominations), Buddhists, Hindus, Zoroasterians, atheists, agnostics, Judaism, Sikhism, Shintoism, Taoism, Pantheism, many tribal and native spiritualists, some naturalists; the rich vs. the poor; the haves vs. the have-nots; employer (slave owner) vs. employee (slave); blacks vs. whites vs. browns vs. yellows vs. reds etc; republicans vs. democrats vs. ‘this or that party’ vs. non-political; liberal vs. conservative; unions vs. other unions vs. non unions; adult vs. juvenile; men vs. women; intelligent vs. not so intelligent; heterosexual vs. homosexual vs. non-sexual vs. omni-sexual; cool vs. uncool; fashionable vs. out of date; gang vs. gang; government vs. civilian; beautiful vs. ugly; dieter vs. glutton; health food advocate vs. junk food junky; athletes vs. nerds vs. heads vs. anyone not affiliated; sports fan vs. rival sports fan vs. those that do not like sports; neighbor vs. neighbor; abortion vs. birth; government vs. civilian; property line vs. property line; law enforcement vs. the rest of society; fly fishing vs. commercial fishing; farmer vs. hunter gatherer; psychiatrist vs. psychologist; homeopath vs. pharmaceutical company; flag waver vs. those that question, etc, etc, etc, etc ad nauseam ground down into ineffectual polarized social particles.
We (the general population) no longer have effective say in who runs our countries; how, where and upon whom our money is spent; why, when, where and upon whom we go to war; what prices we pay for everything; how much tax burden we shoulder; etc.
Our freedom to be individuals has cost us our unity while our freedom to be individuals is being taken from us by the unified global conquest of Muhammadenism due to our lack of unity or our unified stupidity around multiculturalism.
The Capitalists did not care that Muhammadenism was helping to bring down Russian Communism and it can be certain that the Communists will not care much if the Muhammadens bring down the Capitalists. Each has used Muhammadens to accomplish their tasks but have not been paying attentions to the contributions that each has added to the global conquest of Muhammadenism.
At some point in the not too distant future we are going to have to drop our differences and unite into a cohesive global unit seeking World Peace and harmony. All humans have an instinctive yearning for harmonious loving union with the world around us. Divisive and hostile ideologies need to be sterilized or neutralized so that this global pursuit of harmonious loving union with all, by all, can come to fruition.

Hugh,

Ward Churchill.

Ah yes. With his churchillian rhetoric. Thank you. I also see that I managed in my post to refer to Ali Dizaei as Ali Dazei and as Ali Dazaei. Since the name is given in the article above, and all I had to do was look at it, there is no excuse. But let me try anyway: It must be the weather.

Black? I'm blacker than this guy, and I'm a plain old Caucasion who works under fluorescent lighting, all day!

Robert spencer et d'autres specialistes de l'Islam sur à vrai dire, le nouveau site évangélique français. Sous-titres en français!

Let's mention it: there is racism against whites, not least in Britain.

E.g.:

"Racial murders: nearly half the victims are white"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2006/oct/22/ukcrime.race

At first glance, I thought the article was about Reginald Hill's Detective-Superintendant Andy Dalziel, the head of the Yorkshire CID, instead of the real-life crooked copper, Commander Ali Dizaei. I much prefer the fictional flatfoot to the bent "black" Persian plod.

A word of advice to all those convicted on this guy's evidence, and to their lawyers: demand pardons, or at least re-trials in all cases!

I see the inchoate anti-Islam movement still harbors significant degrees of incomprehension -- not about the ideology that threatens us, Islam; but about that other ideology, PC MC, that hinders us from taking rational measures against Islam.

And this incomprehension involves the primary mechanism of PC MC: the doctrine of Anti-Racism.

Let us illustrate this incomprehension:

From the news article:

Another former colleague Brian Paddick called Dizaei a 'Marmite' senior officer who divided opinion: 'Many hated him, believing he had "got away with it" because "he was black". But for the Black Police Association, we was their flag-bearer.'...

And then Robert Spencer's editorial commentary:

He isn't "black," for pete's sake. But the UK police seem incapable of seeing things as they are.

Then the commenter ebonystone:

Check out the photo of him on the Daily Mail link. It's ridiculous that anyone could consider him "black".

And then Hugh Fitzgerald:

...if one must have such an organization ["National Black Police Assocation"], why is an Iranian (home of the "Aryans") not only allowed to join but to become President? This is as silly, but apparently ...cleverly successful...

Ali Dazei puts me in mind of that "professor of ethnic studies," the one who claimed he was an American Indian in order to grab an academic position for himself that, rightly, should have gone to a real American Indian. And he was denounced by American Indian leaders for his self-promoting claims and masquerade.

Let us adumbrate points that should clarify this incomprehension and massage it into comprehension:

1. In this context of the irrational doctrine of Anti-Racism, the symbolism "black" is not a matter of some degree of sufficient darkness of skin tone: it's a matter of a sufficient degree of brown -- and in many cases also the addition of certain often extremely subtle physiognomic features -- to render a person categorizable under the symbolism of "non-white".

2. On the basis of #1 alone, Ali Dizaei fits the bill:

See the Daily Mail photo:

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/02/08/article-1249382-002D981C00000258-513_306x442.jpg

3. That said, there has developed a symbolic cachet to the "black" non-white due, in part, obviously to the extremity his non-whiteness. This symbolic cachet is easily and often detachable from any concrete physical trait one may adduce, and becomes exploitable. In this sense, Muslims have become the "New Blacks".

4. We're not done yet. While the PC MC doctrine of Anti-Racism pertains to all non-whites, it tends to privilege those non-whites who behave more belligerently. This is not merely a matter of simplex and self-evident logic, but also a matter of a more perverse logic, based on what I have called the autophobia of the PC MC whites: they are so deathly afraid of what they fear are their own innate proclivities toward racism against non-whites that whenever non-whites do anything that might reasonably generate negative feelings and thoughts about those non-whites, the PC MC whites go into deep denial and try to suppress not only their feelings and thoughts, but also the facts that arouse those feelings and thoughts -- the facts in this context being any bad speech or behavior by non-whites. The perversity of this logic is brought into relief by noting the PC MC principle: The more that non-whites behave badly, the more that PC MC whites deny the existence of that bad behavior and concomitantly the more the PC MC whites bend over backwards to placate and privilege those non-whites.

5. Okay, so much for the general principle of the perverse logic of the PC MC doctrine of Anti-Racism, as explained in #4. Now we note the next point: Muslims have been behaving and expressing themselves far more belligerently and dangerously than any other non-white ethnic minority. While some may argue that this dynamic of non-white belligerence is a problem among blacks (leading to its inexorable corollary in unwarranted extra deference and privileges extended to blacks by PC MC whites), the "tiny minority of extremists" locution is actually more apt in that regard (or at least "small minority"), and the contrast between what blacks say and do, and what Muslims have been saying and doing, is astronomical (and even more than astronomical when we consider other non-white groups, such as Hispanics and even more so, Asians -- true Asians, that is: not the false "Asians" Muslims have become in Great Britain). I.e., in terms of this dynamic of non-white belligerence, Muslims stand alone in terms of sheer quantity as well as grotesque quality. Thus, by the perverse logic of the PC MC doctrine of Anti-Racism, it only stands to reason that Muslims will be accorded the most deference, privileges and timorous "respect". It thus makes eminent, albeit eminently perverse, sense that Ali Dizaei rose to the top of the "National Black Police Assocation" -- not only merely by dint of his own loutishly thuggish tactics but also bearing bristlingly the implicit threats of all his Muslim brothers: a more emblematic demonstration of the all-too real phenomenon of Muslims having become the "New Black" would be hard to find.

To sum up, the dynamic that prevails -- and that explains this Ali Dizaei nonsense -- may be boiled down to the following formula:

1) The fear, on the part of PC MC whites, of their own propensity toward racism against non-whites (Autophobia -- a real phobia, in the strict sense of an irrational fear)

+

2) The fear of Muslim thuggery: a fear that remains suppressed in the semi-conscious (cf. point #4 above), and a thuggery which does not merely stop at loutishly belligerent attitudes nor even at a beating with brass knuckles, but can all too easily morph into sudden explosions that mass-murder, if not grisly beheadings or savage multiple stabbings or mass-murderous machine gun attacks.

Better late than never; s.o.b. got what he deserved. May be
after he serves his jail term, they will send him back to iran to bully the ayatolas there; they need some bully.

Am I the only one to see the parallels tweenst this and the shooter at Fort Hood?
A man clearly unfit for the position he was placed in, left alone for the sake of Political Correctness. His superiors in fear of being labeled racist or islamophobic for treating him as all others not of the muslim persuasion were treated. Warning signs of all kinds ignored.

Political Correctness killed those soldiers as surely and clearly as the islamic terrorist scumbag and the bullets that pierced their bodies. And PC will continue to kill until we kill it.

islam is a lie and
Truth is killing it.

Moslems weren't the first 'ethnic' group to "play the race card", they followed others' examples, only ethnic Europeans seem to be prohibited from using it.The reason the notion of 'Islamophobia' gained such traction around the world is that it is a subset of the 'only white people are racist' doctrine.

The best part is, right at the moment (Feb 11 2010) you get to click on the comments according as to whether you agree or disagree.

Go through and click UP on any comment that makes intelligent mention of Islam.

I'm a bit wary of registering to actually comment; but it is dead easy to anonymously register approval of those comments that, for example, advise deportation to Iran after sentence served.

Here is, perhaps, my favourite among the comments. It doesn't mention Islam, but apart from that, it's pretty good.

Applause!!

There is more

This is the moment disgraced police chief Ali Dizaei addressed a pre-election 'rally' for Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad while suspended on full pay.

And astonishingly, the Metropolitan Police paid £590 towards the cost of his trip to Tehran.

Ahmadinejad has previously caused outrage by questioning whether the Holocaust happened and calling for Israel to be 'wiped off the face of the earth'.

Anti-racist campaigner Dizaei was treated like a VIP at the event for Iranian ex-pats last April - even though he was under investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission for fitting up an Iraqi website designer.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1249775/The-day-General-Dizaei-met-Iranian-president-guess-paid-trip.html

It would be foolish to ask why such an arrogant and corrupt man got away with it for so long. They were too scared. He got promotion to Superintendent by threatening them with a racial discrimination case, they caved in and he went on from there. Another report is that when he was Home Secretary David Blunkett "put pressure" on the Metropolitan Police to keep him on. For those who do not know David Blunkett has been blind since birth making him the liberals ideal man to manage matters relating to race.

He certainly treated his senior officers with a degree of insubordination that would have finished any non "black" officer. When he was in a uniformed post he had to be given a direct order before he would wear uniform. Even he had to comply with that, but to show his contempt he wore his uniform complete with cowboy boots and a Versace belt. Any white officer who behaved like that would have been kicked out or sent on permanent duty on a remote school crossing with no questions asked by anyone. Some (too few) of the MSM said this when the Met went to such incredible lengths to get rid of him in 2003.

His father was a Tehran police chief and he behaved as a Tehran police chief would - do as you like. He used his position to act as if he ran the show and for years he did.

As to the "Black Police Association" we are told this is legal because membership is open to all - black, white and all shades in between. The purpose of this quasi trade union is, like all unions, to give the management a hard time. Therefore his election to leadership of it is not surprising as he was obviously giving the management a hard time from day one.

I think the liberal "Guardian" initially allowed comments on the story and one of the first was,

"I hope he is deported back to Iran when he is released"

The third was more typical of Guardian readers,

"I hope after spending 40 of his 47 years here he is not deported back to Iran when he is released."

Dumb b******. Still we have to keep acknowledged terrorists here on welfare in case someone is their own countries would hurt them so why pick on a crook

BTW A high level corruption in muslim police officers is a fact of life.

Hmmm, Hugh, are you thinking of Ward Churchill at all? (I don't know the answer, I'm speculating within my limited field of memory).

He's certainly an ugly bully, and I heard somewhere he claimed to be Red Indian. I've seen him in action on a video. Eccch!

Anyone feel free to correct me - I'm just guessing this guy as a likely candidate...

oops, someone got ahead of me! :)
