Why would the fact that the book Muzzammil Hassan regards as sacred mentions beheading twice (Qur'an 8:12; 47:4) have to do with this? Everybody knows that Islam is a Religion of Peace™!

Of course murder is murder, but how did this judge reach such a conclusion, was it a politically correct conclusion so as not to offend Muslims? I would sure like to read how this judge managed such an explanation on this beheading.
I wouldn't be surprised if he sought the view of a local cleric or Iman on the matter. We remember how are last President and Secretary of state bought into the great myth that Islam is a religion of peace.

This moral equivalence has got to go. I read an article in this week's Jewish Tribune that said the real reason for this type of decision is fear and I think that's correct. Peel away the politically correct B.S. and you'll find fear.
If the Islamists and leftists are able to spread so much fear now, what will happen when their numbers increase?
I am grateful that more and more people are waking up -- thanks to sites such as Jihad Watch -- and speaking up despite the fear.
It's a conscious decision that we have to make: to speak up now while we can or face a future when the cost of speaking up is too great.

The judge is a victim of ignorance. His news sources are the NYT and CNN and Katy Couric. He never reads Jihad Watch or watches Fox News or listens to Limbaugh or Beck.
He's probably not computer literate and can't do a search with terms like MUSLIM CUTTING OFF HEADS or MUSLIM HONOR KILLING or MUSLIMS EXECUTE SCHOOL CHILDREN BRESLAN.
I fail to understand how a judge can "rule" on a defendant's motivation. That's not the judge's role or prerogative, is it? A motivation has to be put forward and proved by the prosecution, does it not?
By what right and authority does this "judge" permit or deny avenues of investigation in the search for the truth? By what right and authority does this "judge" qualify or disqualify criminal motivations?
Anyone know what is going on here (and who this judge is)?
You know, I wonder if Hassan's claim of abuse is accurate. In his muhammadan mind, a wife who refuses to blindly follow and obey might be "abusing" her husband by disrespecting his dominate role in the relationship.
That would like kitman - stating a truth, but leaving out certain details so to intentionally mislead.

Mo Hassan is a moslem prodigy. He came upon his koranic right to cut off the head of his dishonorable wife without conscious reference to his religion or culture. The way in which he murdered his wife is another miracle by allah even if islam has nothing to do with it.
