London, Mar 25 (ANI): An Islamic court in Nigeria has banned the use of Twitter and Facebook websites for conducting debates on the use of amputations as a form of punishment.The court, in the northern city of Kaduna, backed a case brought by a pro-Sharia group arguing that a rights group was hosting debates on social networking sites, which would mock the Sharia system....
Sharia judges can order amputations of limbs for petty crimes in some states. The courts mostly deal with domestic issues such as marriage and divorce.
Sharia judges have sentenced some women to death by stoning for adultery, but the sentences have not been carried out.
The newspaper ThisDay quoted the judge's ruling as saying: "An order is hereby given restraining the respondents either by themselves or their agents from opening a chat forum on Facebook, Twitter, or any blog for the purpose of the debate on the amputation of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe."
In 2000, Jangebe made history as the first person in Nigeria to have an amputation carried out under Islamic law after being found guilty of stealing a cow....

Adultery is not the only charge that can carry the stoning sentence...and women certainly have been stoned to death in Nigeria...

That's what the Muslims say, when they are pushing for the establishment of shari'a courts in Western countries. They say, oh so sweetly, that it's *only* for domestic issues, 'such as marriage and divorce'.
What they *don't* say is the bit they say to themselves under their breath, '*for the moment*; but just you wait till we get those courts nicely dug in, and get more political power; then we can get on with the stonings, the floggings, the whacking off of hands, feet and heads, the forced veiling of women, and the imposition of full dhimmitude on all non-Muslims".

Yes—this is straight out of the "Pact of Umar", where non-Muslims are constrained from questioning any aspect of Islam.
And then, any Muslim who questions Islam renders himself apostate...
The ultimate reason that the Islamic court in Nigeria is baning Twitter and Facebook for having debates on Islamic amputation is not just that they know that those in favor of such barbaric acts would loose the debates with any sane reasonable person, but that the very nature of the debates would expose the truth about Islam. And Muslims are as afraid of the truth about their religion being revealed as a vampire is afraid of the sunlight.
