Another in a long line of stories of abuse of Christian workers by Muslims in Pakistan. This behavior has its roots in the doctrine that unbelievers are "vile" (Qur'an 98:6) and must be subjugated (9:29), and of the lawfulness in Islam of sex with slaves and captives (4:24). Lahore (AsiaNews) - A Christian girl was raped and burnt alive by the son of a Muslim master, for whom she worked as a maid. The girl died in hospital yesterday after two days of agony, for the burns on 80% of her body. The incident occurred in a small town in Punjab and has similar details to the sad story of Shazia Bashir, the 12 year old Christian raped and murdered by a powerful lawyer in Lahore, a crime still for which he is still unpunished.
Kiran George worked for a Muslim family in Sheikhupura, a Punjab town. The girl died yesterday at the Mayo Hospital in Lahore, where she was hospitalized on 9 March in critical condition. To unleash the murderous madness of the son of the employer the threat of a complaint of sexual assault.
Peter Jacob, executive secretary of the Justice and Peace of the Catholic Church of Pakistan (NCJP), told AsiaNews that "the house of a Christian family was set on fire" as revenge because "a young man is accused of killing a Muslim." The Catholic activist explains that the suspect, Yasir Abid, is "subject to pre-trial detention. The victim is the son of a Muslim landowner in the village of Kirtu Pandora, in the Narang Mandi".
Mohammad Raza Ahmda raped the Christian girl who, at first, confided only with her friends for fear of losing her jobs. Her family's conditions of extreme poverty had led the young girl to remain silent. When Kiran George threatened her tormentor of telling her story to the police, the young man blocked her escape and closing the door, he poured gasoline all over her with the help of his sister, setting her on fire.
The Muslim master, instead of bringing the girl to the hospital, called her parents telling them that her clothes caught fire while cleaning the kitchen. Kiran George was subjected to two days of slow agony, however, before dying, she told the whole story to the police who opened an investigation file on the young man.
Also in Punjab a crowd of Muslims robbed and burned the house of a Christian family. The assault happened on 10 March in Narang Mandi, a town in the district of Sheikhupura. The extremist's anger was triggered by the alleged involvement of a Christian in the killing of the son of a local landowner. The mob also burnt some copies of the Bible.
Christian families denounced the "deliberate burning" of some copies of the Bible kept inside the home. Police started to investigate and evaluate whether to open a file of investigation for the crime of blasphemy. In this case, says Peter Jacob, the judiciary "will not act under section 295-B of the Pakistan Penal Code, which provides for punishment up to life imprisonment for those who desecrate the Koran, but does not provide for the holy books of other religions".
"We are against the blasphemy laws - concludes activist NCJP - and this applies regardless of the sacred text or who is guilty of the crime." However, he hopes for "thorough investigations" and the punishment of those who "burned the house of the Christian family."
What the...? This kind of barbarity is the trade mark of the Mohammedans and the religion of VIOLENCE called Islam. Rape, child rape and abduction are the modus operandi of Mohammedans.
Can it be any more obvious that Islam is the most evil, vile, hateful, bigoted, offensive ideology in human history? One could forgive primitive cultures for doing such barbaric things 2000 years ago, but we as a species have evolved far beyond that now, yet we continue to hear of such horrific acts coming from primarily one death cult. I guess we should've be surprised, given that its founder was a lowly scumbag who married and raped a prepubescent girl, waged wars, personally beheaded hundreds of people, was a thief, slaver and called himself a prophet of god-using his wretched behavior as the best example for humanity, etc.
After educating myself on this 'religion' after 9/11, I concluded there is only one sensible solution-that Islam must be eliminated, however its done is up to our leaders, but it must go. The endless stream of tales of depravity, injustice and horrendous crimes especially against the weakest members of society (girls/women), just reinforce my perspective on Islam. I'm really sickened and enraged at hearing of this story and the world keeps sticking their heads in the sand and lying to each other about the true nature of this monstrous, psychotic religion.
Thank God for the internet. Without it, these stories would go untold by their friends in the lamestream media.
One more exhibit to be entered into evidence in the case against muslims and islam and their inadmissibility and incapability to enter and live in the free world , our country and our neighbor hoods. The cost in money, freedom and lives is too high to continue to allow this cancer to grow in our societies .

Will this story be picked up by any of the major media in the US or in Europe? Perhaps a long article in TIME or NEWSWEEK will appear to show the pattern of horrendous torment inflicted on Christians in the Muslim world? Unfortunately, I doubt this will happen. The facts, if widely known, would cause people to view Islam negatively, so best to withhold any such factual reporting. Is anyone in government, a senator or congressman perhaps, willing to take up this cause. Probably not. Too controversial. Status quo will remain: keeping mum on these continuing atrocities.
Instead of sending aid to muslims, why won't our governments send it to aid the persecuted Christians in the muslim world?

I can't even consider muslims human beings for doing such things. I have stopped talking to my former Pakistani friends, all muslim. When I showed them such articles they shrug and act like it is no big deal. You know if they ever get the upper hand in the west, killing us will be no big deal in the eyes of muslims. In fact they probably will throw a party.
Lets all repeat - it is not islam which did this, but its cultural.
I hate that sham defence - only by fostering the attitude to life that islam does, can these heinous crimes go on regularly in the muslim community without reproach.

When I read this story of the horrendous atrocity perpetrated against the young Christian girl, Kiran George, I remained seated quietly at my computer, letting the shock waves flow over me, letting my mind absorb the horror, feeling the pain of Kiran.
Like me, the world's media will likely remain quiet too.
Where is the outrage, the disgust, the condemnation from the world at large? Why do I not read about this on the CBC, hear about it on Canadian TV, or in the Toronto Star? Heaven help us all if we remain silent.
As the most powerful and sole superpower on earth, it becomes our elected officials' moral obligation to question and investigate such brutal treatment of Christian, Jewish and other religious minorities in all Islamic countries with their sorry track record on human rights, especially those who receive generous mega billions in free US aid packages such as Pakistan. There is no greater sin than to look the other way while a less fortunate person is slaughtered, raped or persecuted solely on religious grounds.

Why are our leaders so quiet and unwilling to use their influence and exercise power? Is it because the victims of religious persecution can't afford K street lobbyists to represent them in Washington to line the politicians pockets?

They can keep pushing the envelope, we are simply "too busy" to notice religious or minority persecution. And the Foreign Aid check is the mail as always, thanks to the American taxpayer.

There it is. A nameless Tibetan monk telling an idealistic young Jew, our Mark Goldberg, that "Islam is a devil's religion".

When one reflects on these two news reports we have absorbed, one after another - the rape and murder of little Shazia Bashir, and now the rape and murder of Kiran George, both carried out by powerful, well-off Muslim men, men who far from being condemned are now being protected and defended by their families and the surrounding Muslim society (indeed, in the murder of Kiran George, Kiran's rapist Mohammed Raza Ahmda was assisted *by his sister* ) and are clearly intended to get off scot-free - I think it's pretty plain that that Buddhist monk, some thirty years ago, warning 'Mark Goldberg', got it right.
We are dealing with a devil's religion. A 'religion' inspired by devils, by evil spirits; and even those who do not believe that a spirit world exists, can still conclude that this particular ideology, this system, seems horribly able to turn human beings into something *like* the evil spirits of mythology: creatures taking pleasure in the pain and fear of others, and in causing such pain and fear, creatures without mercy, without truth, without restraint.

Sometimes I worry that I am going to become numb, reading such horrors day after day. I don't think it's going to happen—I am just sickened...
Also, notice that this atrocity was not just the actions of the rapist—he was aided in his vicious burning of the girl *by his sister*, and then his father both lied about it and may well have ensured the girl's death by not taking her to the hospital.
