Meetings with the Obama administration's top policy makers on Pakistan, including the president's special representative, Richard C. Holbrooke, and visits to the Pentagon and the National Security Council, did not allay the anger the politicians said they felt at being asked to submit to a secondary screening on Sunday before boarding a flight to New Orleans. They declined to be screened and did not board the flight.
Pakistan is one of 14 mostly Muslim countries whose citizens must go through increased checks before they fly into the United States, a procedure mandated by the Obama administration in the wake of the failed attempt by a Nigerian man to blow up an airliner flying from the Netherlands to Detroit on Dec. 25.
The inclusion of Pakistan on the list was broadly criticized as an insult to a country that the United States calls an ally....
It's pretty simple, no scan, no fly. Flying isn't a human right, it's a privledge, a means of convienance.
Pakistan an ally? Yeah, only because the Taliban and Al Qaeda have recently been targeting Pakistan itself, and threatening the ruling power's gravy boat. A country where the vast majority of its citizens favour, death to apostates, the cutting off of hands and feet for thievery, and the ever popular stoning to death of women that are caught not being pious enough.
How many people in the western world know this reality about Pakistan? Why don't they know this about Pakistan? If say Canadians were polled and it was found out that the vast majority of Canada felt this way, would this not be on everybody's radar in a big way? Everyone would be shocked to the core by it. Why not with Pakistan? The information was released to the public by Pew Research.
I like the irony here. Obama's State Department "reaches-out" to these muslims, flies them over here, wines and dines them,
wants to impress them with how "important" we think they are. And what do they do? They spit in Obama's face! They go back home in a snit and their whole twisted country rejoices and spits in his face! How's that "muslim-outreach" workin' out for ya', Mr. President?

If Muslims start refusing to go through the scanners (as probably ineffective in detectable explosive powder as they seem), the scanners will have one effect: fewer Muslims on planes. Sort of a win-win.

Yes, KK, I saw this too. 83% in favour of stoning adulterers, 80% in favour of cutting of the hands of thieves, 78% in favour of death for leaving Islam, 71% in favour of giving power to religious judges. And about ten percent vote 'dont know' on all of these issues. What must it be like for the remaining ten percent of relatively sane people living in this blood-thirsty hell-hole?
And we have been accepting these barbarians into our midst and expecting them to behave like civilized citizens!

Results have already started showing up in Pakistan in 2009 there were more than 2500 sueside attachs and bombings and this is result of help provided to American forces in 2001. This rate is more than in bombings in Afghanistan and Iraq.
In short this is a chain process which has already started and i'm sure it will just benefit top business men of the world.We who are conman people living around the globe dosent matter what religion you believe in or what country you are from have to understand it, Its simple law of universe. And for all those who think muslims are behind all this well Quran commentators believe that the phrase "do not kill yourselves" is better translated "do not kill each other", and some translations (e.g. by Shakir) reflect that view.
Mainstream Islamic groups such as the European Council for Fatwa and Research rely on the Quranic verse Al-Anam 6:151 as prohibiting suicide:
"And take not life, which Allah has made sacred, except by way of justice and law".
