I met my husband at a cafe right on this block. I was living on Guerrero Street just two blocks from where this attack took place.

My guess is that they were heading right for nearby Castro street—typically anyone driving in from the East Bay would pass right up 16th Street on their way there.

My guess is that they attacked the first person they saw who appeared to be gay.

Sounds like the usual Muslim odds—three guys armed with a BB rifle against one lone guy on foot. I'm just glad they were caught. They were probably looking for more victims.

"Three cousins from Hayward..." The media is always finding creative ways to avoid saying Muslim.

Now wouldn't it be more informative if the lead read..."Three Muslims were charged with a hate crime and assault for allegedly shooting a gay man with a BB gun." Now this illuminates the essence of the story for the reader far more than "cousins from Hayward."

What is the key common denominator in their desire to commit a hate crime against a gay man...was it their being cousins? their being from Hayward? or perhaps was it their Islamic beliefs?

If the three guys were white and Christian or Jewish, and the victim was Muslim, what are the odds that they would be described by their hometown rather than their race or religion, especially in the case of a hate-crime?

Does anyone know whatever happened in the case in SF last year when a vocal pro-Israel advocate--who also happened to be gay--was found dead at the bottom of an elevator shaft?

He went to the building where he was taking an Arabic class, never was informed that the class was cancelled and then was found dead at the bottom of an elevator shaft five floors below where the class was supposed to be held! This was a healthy man in his late 30s.

Looks as though the old song, 'If you go to San Francisco' will have to be updated. Tiny minority of extremists, eh? TWENTY THOUSAND PEOPLE. And that's only one event. Who knows how many other such there were, that we don't know about simply because they did not happen to be witnessed and recorded by intrepid non-Muslims such as Ms Fallaci?

There are, most assuredly, late-middle-aged or elderly Muslim women living in Dhaka today - thousands of them - who know what it feels like to *deliberately* bathe your own feet in mashed human flesh, and blood, and bone; to not be forced to do so, but to *choose* to do so, to *revel* in so doing, in an ecstasy of obscene bloodlust. Anyone here been to Dhaka? Any Muslim woman you meet who is over a certain age, who is old enough to have been, say, fifteen or twenty at the time of the Pakistan-Bangladesh civil war, *might* be one of those women. I am another person who thinks that the LGBT population should reevaluate their affiliation with the Left. Leftists are whores and preach selling-out for the "common good". I wonder if this shooting will wake some LGBTers up to the fact that freedom for lesbians, gays and other non-hetero type people is not harmonious with societies that tolerate uncivilized citizens, such as mozoids, to run the show. I find the same kind of distorted assumptions among non-trad religionist who really believe that pagans and mozoids are fighting the same enemy in a Judeo-Christiancentric dominated society. And it had to be said: SF homosexuals with literally a handful of exceptions are deep in the bosoms of the left and will stand shoulder to shoulder or lay underneath if the situation calls for it our Jihadi friends and would do everything against those darned bigoted Christians.
