According to The Times (London) several of the people arrested are Muslim converts.
Therefore, it can only be a matter of time before the defences of them being a "misunderstander of Islam" and "religion of peace" sre trotted out.

Haven't seen the Times article but according to this they are originally from Morocco and Yemen and have refugee status in Ireland. Refugees from what, I wonder?

The fact that this plot was hatched in Ireland is far less salient to the story than that it was hatched by MUSLIMS.
The non-Muslim Irish should be very angry with the BBC for its headline that managed to suggest that somehow being *Irish* makes one inclined to kill cartoonists.
I like Lars Vilks. I like him very much.
I like his un-dhimmified Attitude, as reported towards the middle of the BBC article linked by Mladen, above:
"Mr Vilks has been under police protection in Sweden since threats were made against his life.
"I'm not shaking with fear, exactly," he told Swedish news agency TT after Tuesday's arrests.
"I have prepared in different ways *and I have an axe here in case someone should manage to get in through the window* {my emphasis - dda}." END QUOTE.
Note that he does not specify exactly what 'different ways' - besides his trusty axe (a very suitable weapon for a man whose long-ago berserker ancestors would have run screaming into battle wielding great big axes) - comprise the welcome he has prepared for any aspiring jihadis.

I always wonder. Mooslims always claim to venerate Jesus, yet Jesus catches grief from all directions, yet no riots oR death threats, etc.
Crucifixes in piss, Jesus cartoons almost every week in the Simpsons, Family Guy etc. and the mooslims are calm and cool, LIARS.
And of course the Simpsons, Family Guy etc are cowards and no moohammed toons to be found. To be fair, it would set off WW2. A CARTOON!
