A video made by three cousins from Hayward charged with an alleged anti-gay shooting with a BB rifle last month in San Francisco shows 11 other attacks in a single night, authorities said Friday.The men have been charged in San Francisco with a hate crime and assault for allegedly firing a BB rifle Feb. 26 at the face of a man they believed was gay. The man, who was walking on 16th Street near Guerrero Street, was not badly hurt and later identified the three suspects.
The three were freed on $50,000 bail soon after their arrest. But on Friday, Mohammad Habibzada, Shafiq Hashemi and Sayed Bassam, all 24, appeared in court and were immediately rearrested. They were all being held late Friday on $450,000 bail.
They were returned to custody after prosecutors viewed a video that police found in the three men's car when they were arrested.
Brian Buckelew, spokesman for District Attorney Kamala Harris, said the video showed the 16th Street attack and BB rifle shootings aimed at 11 other men. Police say the video depicts the suspects laughing as they fire....

These weren't local Catholics, or Protestants, or Jews, of Buddhists, who came to San Francisco to deliberately target gay people in the name of their religion—it was a carful of Muslims.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. when I first read that the perpetrators were found nearby, I assumed they were trolling for more victims. Kudos to the victim on 16th Street for reporting the crime. I hope police can track down some of the other victims and have them testify.
This neighborhood—and the adjacent Castro—is very crowded on Friday nights. But there are enough dark and deserted side streets—where people often park their cars—where they can attack people largely with impunity.
I met my husband at a cafe right on this block. Now, along with my fond memories of this area, I will always think of street Jihad attacks on inoffensive gay people. Thanks, Islam!
But religion has a long history of homophobia. Islam and Christianity especially.

Maybe they should call themselves the Richard the Lionheart division (I understand that the famous English crusader king, liege lord of the legendary Robin of Sherwood, is in some circles suspected of having been gay).
Just for clarity - in my posting above, the 'they' whom I believe should call themselves after King Richard the I, Crusader king, are those Britons who join the newly-forming 'gay' division of the EDL.
If San Francisco and California did not infringe on 2nd Amendment rights these gay-bashers might think twice before pointing (let alone shooting) a rifle of any sort at anyone for any reason other than legitimate self-defense.
