A larger problem is that while conservatives aren't intentionally working for the enemy, they are mostly absent from the battle or engaged in it unintelligently. Conservative politicians and media personalities would rather talk about anything other than the most important issue facing the West and all non-Muslims: the threat from Islam.

Too many mainstream conservatives can't see past supporting the wasteful war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, talking about the value of enhanced interrogations and praising the U.S. for liberating Muslims from Kuwait to Bosnia, and "50 million liberated in Iraq and Afghanistan." Just to be clear, I'm all for enhanced interrogations of terrorists and I'm not in favor of giving them civilian trials. But Muslims can't truly be liberated until they give up Islam, and certainly no country is free that enshrines sharia law in its constitution as we foolishly encouraged the Iraqis and Afghans to do.

How I long for an American Geert Wilders. The issue conservatives need to grasp is Islam. We need to stop the increasing Islamization of traditionally non-Muslim lands, including Western Europe and North America. This can only be done by greatly diminishing immigration from Muslim countries, passing laws that bar hostile foreign (that means Saudi!) ownership of American media, ending the foolishness of giving spaces in our colleges to Muslim students who leave here better educated jihadists and use their time on our campuses to spread enemy propaganda, end the influence of Saudi, Kuwaiti, UAE and other rich Arab funding of academic departments in universities, stop allowing foreign funding of mosques and Islamic schools, stop importing foreign imams, pass laws preventing U.S. politicians and ambassadors from taking money from foreign governments and enemy interests (Saudi!) when they leave office, expose the Saudi lobby and their American pr agents, declare the Muslim Brotherhood and its American affiliates terrorist groups and use the same legal tactics to go after them that were used against the mob and start to create an atmosphere in which those that support the Islamic agenda or openly advocate jihad and sharia find this country far less hospitable and their American audience far better informed about their goals and the methods they are using to achieve those goals.

Given the average Leftist's hatred of this country and its people its of no surprise that they find common ground with Muslim terrorists and in general support of shariah here in the West.

Heck before Islam they found common ground with Communists and brutal authoritarians all over the world.

That said, if you go back to liberal blog archives of say the 7/11 bombings in Great Britain you'll find many liberal posters celebrating the attacks and carnage caused by them. This is how great the hatred the Left has for the West and its people.

They may not pull the trigger themselves but they sure support those who do.

However the biggest obstacle the West faces is from the Conservative leadership - both in and out of office that has either been aiding and abetting or ignoring the ever growing Islamic threat.

And unless we throw out the current crop of Saudi bought conservatives who call the shots we're in trouble. As these men have made it clear in terms of policy decisions, they care no more for the country than those 3 jihadi converts.

I have a friend from childhood who is a leftist who believes every conspiracy theory. His sister recently died and he came in control of a considerable estate. As we were talking over the phone he took great pains to tell me that he never wanted the money.
He is the son of an insurance broker and I am the progeny of a longshoreman. In us there are two sterotypes. Is this the explanation? I'm not sure but know that studies must be done.

The article says about one of the converts, supposedly emblematic of all the other converts:

These converts did not "learn to hate their country"; that was their prior disposition, before they encountered Islam on the Net, and which made them ripe for deepening their disease in a seemingly robust and righteous vehicle: the Green Menace in our time, rather than the Red Menace of former decades when Communist Revolution was the way to vent one's Gnostic alienation with one's own Western structures.

I'd say that it is pretty much a garuntee that the Far Left is involved. The far Left see the Muslims their last best hope for destroying America. I firmly believe that if anyone new about 9/11 ahead of time it was the Far Left. Witness the fact that they came up with their Truther theories before the fires had even cooled, almost as if they had them waiting. Most of them don't work and only associate with each other, so it would be easier for them to keep a secret as opposed to a bunch of gov't operatives.

Remember how shocked we were, just a few short years ago, when we learned of John Walker Lindh, the "American Taliban", who grew up in a nice liberal home in California's Marin County?

The far left certainly is involved, although when I was a kid leftists were considered to be always for freedom and the sovereignty of the individual, or maybe I was dreaming. Anyway, yes, I think that the current leftists see multi-culturalism as the great leap towards globalism. Globalism is how New World Order will be implemented. That sane, civilized people have to interact with barbarians during this process is irrelevant to them.
