CAIR tried to raise money off its initial victory in its campaign against free speech in Florida. There was just one problem: they lost.
CAIR should return any money raised via this campaign of defamation, intimidation, and libel. Will they? I wouldn't hold my breath.

Bus ads offering support to Muslims wanting to leave Islam that were censored just days ago by the Miami-Dade Transit agency because of complaints from Muslims are being returned to the streets, this time in even greater numbers.The ads are the work of Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and Robert Spencer of JihadWatch through the Stop Islamization of America initiative.
The transit agency decided to censor the ads after a complaint was filed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
On the Stop Islamization website, a statement said, "Not only will [Freedom Defense Initiative] and SIOA's buses be going back up, but another 20 will be added to the existing [campaign]."
"This is a huge victory on the constitutional issues. This is the work of SIOA. Have you joined our Facebook group yet? ... Robert and I want to roll this out nationwide. We have no big money, big donors. ... We are two people fighting with all the gusto we can muster."...

I just posted a note to the Orlando Sentinel that orignally called the Ad's publishers (Pam Geller & Robert Spencer) a "Hate Group" because of CAIR. Lets see if they follow up. Keep up the pressure!!
You had covered this before and aren't following up on the Bus Ad's in Miami for apostates from Islam. You did print that the ad's were from a "hate group" before learning the facts. How about a sense of fair play and follow up on the the fact the ad's are going back up? Suggest you visit Atlas Shrugs or Jihad Watch (Pam Geller & Robert Spencer) from whom these ad's originate.

Have made another donation to SIOA, a worthy cause if there ever was one. What should happen, and this is sarcastic, but a program should be launched nationwide, called the Muslim Shoes for Peace Initiative. Instead of donating old shoes to Goodwill, Americans could save their old shoes, and use them in the Muslim Shoes for Peace Initiative. Every time CAIR goes out on one of their extreme crusades, Native Americans could gather and throw shoes in their direction to demonstrate good will, empathy, and the American understanding of the Muslim plight in our country. Common knowledge is that Muslims need good shoes. Would go a long way for establishing a dialogue towards peace, and gain the trust of the Islamic community.

There are two ways of taking Jane's original comment:
1) she objects to the more or less de jure decision by Moderators here to censor the F word
or
2) she was objecting to an apparent inconsistency she saw where someone seemed to be getting away with using the F word.
If it's #2, she should have waited longer -- Moderators aren't moderating every second of the day, and often several hours go by before they notice something that might require censoring. Also, if it's #2, there is the possible interpretation of an implicit resentment against Undaunted, as though he's favored by the Moderators, unlike others.
If it's #1, I'm in full agreement with her -- though, in the interest of curbing excessive F-word usage, I would only allow an F word in a comment if it's used as the crux of a trenchant point in an argument, not just as a peripheral casual outburst. Honestly, I'm not sure which of those two characterizes Undaunted's comment.

When I saw that Robert had posted this story yesterday morning, I actually gave it some quick thought before I commented. I know you can't possibly believe that, Jane, but here goes:
I thought that the gentleman depicted in the picture might look at JW to see if anything had been written/posted here regarding his whining about islamophobes and begging for more money from fools. If he did look ~ and I don't know if he did or didn't ~ I wanted him to see that there are people out here who are willing to get in his face, and those like him, in an I'm-not-taking-any-crap-off-of-you fashion, using verbal violence as a weapon to spit in his stupid face, as it were.
I had a sense that some JW commenters would add their Yea-what-Undaunted-said comments and thought that would only sharpen the sting of the verbal slap I was offering.
There are many wise, erudite writers and commenters here at JW. But I wanted to make point with my "obscene" language that his lies and his religion are obscene. If I write it as phuckk yew instead of the correct spelling, the meaning is still clear but it tends to suggest, in my view, that I was concerned about his tender little feelings, which I am not.
So, that was my "ridiculous" reasoning.

I will tell you that I thought the 2nd time was a bit gratuitous--but I did appreciate the "undauntedness" of it.
WRT "Jane:" I alluded in an earlier post on this thread (addressed to her) that I think I know who she really is. Based on that, I understand that her issue was not that she was offended, but about uniform rules-enforcement by the moderators--and, BTW, I think she's right. ( I wish she would have just SAID that!) Hopefully she feels better about it that both your posts were deleted. I think it's possible she's had some prior experience here in this area.
Robert & Marisol are right to keep this site as clean as they can. Some people out there want to paint us here as a "Hate-Group." NOT SO! This is a "Love-Group;" for people who love their freedom, love their rights and privileges, their heritage, their culture, their hope for a bright future. The only thing that's hated here is the entity that has stated (and acted) its desire to take all these away from us and plunge us into a new "Dark Age..."
